• Have you not given a thought about the Chieftains amongst the Posterity of Iesra'eal in times after Mūsā [alai'his'slaam] —

کیاآپ(ﷺ)نے ان عمائدین کے رویئے پر غورنہیں کیا جو موسیٰ(علیہ السلام)کے بعد کے دور میں بنی اسرائیل میں اثر و رسوخ کے حامل سردار بنے تھے؛

• When they said to the Elevated-Chosen Servant of Allah the Exalted, present in those days for them; "You appoint a commander for us so that we should confront war with enemy in the cause of Allah."

اُس قصہ کے حوالے سےجب انہوں (عمائدین)نے ان نبی کے لئے جو ان کے لئے رسول  ہونا ظاہر کر چکے تھے کہا’’آپ ہمارے لئے    ایک سپہ سالار مقرر فرما دیں،ہم اللہ تعالیٰ کی راہ میں جنگ کرنا چاہتے ہیں‘‘ ۔

• He asked them; "Is it not expected of you that if war is ordained for you people, you might not fight?"

انہوں(رسول)نے کہا’’کیا یہ امکان نہیں کہ اگر جنگ کرنا تم پر لازم کر دیا گیا تو تم لوگ جنگ نہ کرو؟‘‘

• They replied; "What will be that for us that we might not fight for the cause of Allah while a recent fact is that we have been forced out of our homes and homes of our forefathers?"

انہوں(عمائدین)نے جواب دیا’’مگر ہمارے لئے کیا جواز مانع ہو گا کہ ہم اللہ تعالیٰ کی راہ میں جنگ نہ کریں ان  لوگوں سے جنہوں نے ہمیں اورہمارے بیٹوں کو ہمارے علاقے سے نکال دیا تھا؟‘‘۔

• Thereby, when fighting the war was ordained for them, they turned away barring a few steadfast amongst them.

مگر جب جنگ کرنا ان پر نافذ العمل حکم بنا دیا گیا تو وہ(عمائدین) اپنے کہے قول سے منحرف ہو گئے سوائے ان میں سے چند کے۔

• Be mindful, Allah the Exalted has always been fully aware of the wrong-doers-distorters. [2:246]

متنبہ رہو،اللہ تعالیٰ حقیقت کے منافی باتوں سے بگاڑ پیدا کرنے والوں کو بخوبی جانتے ہیں۔

• And the Elevated-Chosen Subject of Allah the Exalted deputed upon them said —

:اور ان کے نبی (علیہ السلام)نے ان (عمائدین) سے کہا

• "Know it that Allah the Exalted has since appointed Taloot for you people to act as commander".

یہ حقیقت جان ؛ اللہ تعالیٰ  طالوت کو تم لوگوں کے لئے سپہ سالار مقرر فرما چکے ہیں‘‘۔’’

• They (Chieftains) replied; "How can authority be vested in him to exercise command over us?

انہوں(عمائدین) نے سوال کیا’’اس کا ہمارے اوپر سپہ سالار بننا کس وجہ سے اس کے مناسب ہے۔

• We have rather greater right than him to govern and command the community particularly because he is not yet bestowed with magnificent stature by wealth."

ہم لوگ اس کی نسبت سپہ سالار بننے کے زیادہ حق دار ہیں کیونکہ اسے تو مال و دولت میں وسعت سے نہیں نوازا گیا‘‘۔

• He (Elevated-Chosen Subject of Allah the Exalted) told them; "The fact is that Allah the Exalted has preferred-chosen-elevated him upon you people and has enhanced him magnificently with regard to level of knowledge-power of mind and physique.

انہوں(نبی الیہ السلام)نے جواب دیا’’یقیناًاللہ تعالیٰ نے انہیں(طالوت)تم لوگوں پر بوجوہ فوقیت دے کر  منتخب کیاہے کیونکہ ان جناب نے اسے (طالوت)مخصوص علم(جنگی صلاحیت)اور جسمانی طور پرزیادہ  ودسعت افزوں فرمایا ہے

• Be mindful, Allah the Exalted grants the domain of His kingdom to whomever He wills.

(اس انتخاب کی وجہ بتا دی ہے)مگر یہ حقیقت ذہن نشین رہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے اقتدار میں حق حکمرانی اس کو عنایت کرتے ہیں جس کے متعلق ازخود ایسا ارادہ کرتے ہیں۔

• Moreover remember, Allah the Exalted has domain beyond bounds-limits; fountain of knowledge - setter of sciences - all-Knowing." [2:247]

اور یاد رہے،اللہ تعالیٰ کے صاحب علم ہونے کی وسعت لامحدود ہے‘‘۔

• And the Elevated-Chosen Servant of Allah the Exalted deputed upon them said —

:اور ان کے نبی (علیہ السلام)نے ان (عمائدین) سے  مزیدکہا

• "The sign of his appointment as king is that during his reign "the cabinet" might come to you. The solace and tranquillity is assured therein as blessing from your Sustainer Lord —

• And the relics partly from that which was left by the followers of Mūsā and followers of Haa'roon. The Angels are carrying that "Cabinet/chest".

• Certainly a vivid evidence-unprecedented sign is therein for conviction of you people this appointment is by the command of Allah the Exalted —

یقینا ایک نشانی تم لوگوں کے ادراک کے لئے اس اطلاع میں موجود ہے  کہ ان کا سپہ سالار مقرر کیا جانا بحکم اللہ تعالیٰ ہے۔

•  Realize it If you have truly been the believers. [2:248]

• Thereat [for reason of Jaloot advancing] when as soon Taloot marched out along with his troops, he warned them —

اس کے بعد جوں ہی طالوت  نےلشکروں  کو ایک مقام پر اکھٹا کیا ۔

•  He said; "Allah the Exalted will indeed subject you people to a qualificatory test on the way at a canal. Thereat, he who drank satisfying himself from that canal he is marked as not with me —

تو انہوں(طالوت سپہ سالار)نے ان سے خطاب کیا’’یقناً اللہ تعالیٰ تم لوگوں کے مافی الضمیر کو ظاہر کرنے کے لئے ایک نہر کے کنارے  تم لوگوں کوآزمائش میں ڈالنے والے ہیں۔اس وقت جس کسی نے اس(نہر)میں سے سیر ہو کرپانی پی لیا تواس سے ظاہر ہو جائے گا کہ وہ میرے ساتھ نہیں۔

• And he is indeed with me who would not take it inside the throat except splashing upwards with his hand۔"

اور جس کسی نے اس(پانی)کو نہیں پیا ہو گا تو وہ یقیناً میرے ساتھ ہے، ماسوائے اس کے اس نے اپنےچلو میں لے کراوپر کی جانب  چھڑک دیا۔‘‘

• On reaching the canal [for reason majority of Bani Iesra'eal has always been transgressors] they drank from it barring a minority of them.

پھر جب وہ نہر پر پہنچے تو ان میں سے ایک قلیل تعداد کے علاوہ دوسروں نے اس (نہر)میں سے سیر ہو کرپانی پی لیا۔

• Resultantly, when Taloot and those who had consciously accepted belief accompanying him crossed over the canal, they (the transgressors) said [proving what Taloot had warned]:

پھر جوں ہی انہوں (طالوت)نے اسے(نہر)پار کیا؛وہ اور وہ مدعیان ایمان جو اس وقت ان کے ساتھ تھے، انہوں نے دوسرے کنارے پہنچنے پر کہا:

• "Today, absolutely no strength is left for us to fight against Jaloot and his troops".

قطعاً کوئی بھی طاقت ہمارے میں آج جالوت اور اس کے لشکروں کا سامنا کرنے کےلئے نہیں ہے‘‘۔’’

• Those who considered, without ocular perception, as if they were at the moment in the presence of Allah the Exalted repudiated —

ان لوگوں نے جومثبت احساس؍ رکھ رہے تھے کہ  اُس لمحےاللہ تعالیٰ کے حضور پیش  ہیں، انہیں یہ بتایا ۔

• "It has often been the case that many of a small troop have overpowered-defeated a big host, by the grace of Allah the Exalted.

’’بہت مرتبہ ایسا ہوا ہے کہ ایک چھوٹی ٹولی نے اللہ تعالیٰ کے اذن سے ایک بڑی ٹولی پر غلبہ حاصل کیا ہے۔

• And it is a certain fact that Allah the Exalted is with those who show fortitude." [2:249]

اور اطمینان رکھو،اللہ تعالیٰ صبر و استقامت سے اپنے نظریہ پر قائم رہنے والوں کے ساتھ ہیں‘‘۔

• And when they as soon came in open confronting Ja'loot [Goliath] and his troops —

اور جوں ہی وہ کھلے میدان میں جالوت اور اس کے لشکروں کے آمنے سامنے ہوئے۔

• They prayed "Our Sustainer Lord! Do bless us with coolly perseverance and fortitude —

تو انہوں نے دعا کی’’ہمارے رب!ہمارے پر تحمل و برداشت کی قوت انڈیل دیں۔

• And do make firm our foothold-strengthen firmness —

اور ہمارے قدموں کومضبوطی سے جمائیں رکھیں۔

• And help us for victory over the unbelieving people." [2:250]

اور آپ ہمیں ان انکار کرنے والے لوگوں پرغلبہ پانے کے لئے مدد فرمائیں‘‘۔

• Consequently they routed them by the Grace of Allah the Exalted; and Da'wued [alai'his'slaam] inflicted capital punishment to Ja'loot [Goliath];

باقاعدہ جنگ ہونے پر انہوں نے اللہ تعالیٰ کے اذن سے  انہیں(افواج جالوت)شکست خوردہ کر دیا۔اور داؤد(علیہ السلام)نے جالوت کو سزائے موت دے دی۔

• And Allah the Exalted had given him (Da'wued alai'his'slaam) the Kingdom, and wisdom-governance and imparted him the know-how of some other things that He the Exalted willed.

اور اللہ تعالیٰ نے انہیں(داؤد علیہ السلام)کو سلطنت سے نوازا ہوا تھا،اور انہیں  حکمت سے بہرامند کیا تھا،اور انہیں اس امر کی تعلیم دی تھی  جو وہ جناب چاہتے تھے۔

• Realize it; had Allah the Exalted were not repelling people, a set of people by some others, the Earth would have certainly  corrupted with imbalances and chaos.

جان لو؛اگر اللہ تعالیٰ  موقع محل اور مناسب وقت پرلوگوں کو منظر سے نہ ہٹاتے،ان میں سے بعض کو بعض دوسروں کے ذریعے،تو کرہ ارض فساد کی آماجگاہ بن چکی ہوتی۔

• Acknowledge that Allah the Exalted  is but bountiful to the peoples of the world. [2:251]
