• Know the fact, Our Majesty had communicated to Mūsā [alai'his'slaam in Egypt] that —

• "You travel by night with My subjects —

کہ’’ آپ میرے بندوں کو ساتھ لے کر رات کے کسی پہر روانہ ہو جائیں۔

• Thereupon, reaching there [and because of chase by enemy-26:52], you strike to emerge a submerged passage in the Gulf of Suez for them. The characteristic of this passage is that it is dried up: skeleton - Fringing reef.

وہاں پہنچ جائیں تو آپ ان کے لئے اس راستے کو سطح پرنمایاں کر دیں جو خشک حالت میں بحر سویز میں موجود ہے۔

• You will not have fear of being overtaken, nor you will dread." [20:77]

آپ تعاقب کئے جانے سے خوف زدہ نہیں ہوں گے اور نہ کوئی اور اندیشہ و ہیبت محسوس کریں گے‘‘۔

• Encouraged by having seen them safely crossed over to other side on floating dried bridge, Fir'aoun/Pharaoh followed their footsteps along with his troops —

چونکہ وہ بحافظت بحر سویز کے پار اتر گئے تو ان کو پکڑنے کی خواہش اور زعم سے مغلوب حالت میں  فرعون اپنے لشکروں کو ساتھ لے کر ان کے نقش قدم پران کے پیچھے چل پڑا۔

• Thereby, [for reason of collapse of bridge by resonance effect of soldiers walk] that from within the sea overarched them which submerged them in the Gulf of Suez; [20:78]

چونکہ ان کے بوجھ سے وہ خشک راستہ بکھر گیا تھا اس لئے  اس نے انہیں ڈھانپ لیا جو سمندر میں سے ابھرا تھا،اس نے ان پر چھا کر انہیں غرق کر دیا۔،

• Realize it, Fir'aoun/Pharaoh made his nation neglectful/strayed, and did not guide them aright. [20:79]

سمجھ لو؛ فرعون نے اپنی قوم کو  دانستہ گمراہ  توکیا مگر راست کی جانب رہنمائی کرنے سے گریزاں رہا۔

• They were reminded: "O you the posterity of Iesraa'eel!

قیام پذیر ہو جانے پر انہیں   موسیٰ علیہ السلام کو وحی کر کے بتایا گیا)اے بنی اسرائیل!

• Our Majesty has delivered—rescued you in the recent past from your enemy —

اس کا اعتراف کرہ کہ ہم  جناب نے کچھ وقت پہلے تم لوگوں کو (پانی کی سطح سے اوپر رکھ کر)تمہارے دشمن سے نجات دلائی ہے۔

• And Our Majesty have committed you people the right side of At-Tur: Mountain Range of Sinai —

اور ہم جناب نے سلسلہ کوہ طور کے دائیں جانب قیام کا وعدہ کیا ہے۔

• And Our Majesty have intermittently sent upon you people fully prepared meal "al-Munna and As-salwa": excellent food. [20:80]

• اور ہم جناب نے تیار شدہ  طعام من و سلویٰ تم لوگوں پر وقتاً فوقتاً اوپر سے زمین پر بھیجا۔(dropped)

• You people eat the permissible - liquefiable and respectively beneficial and nutrient food which Our Majesty have given to you as sustenance.

کھاؤ اِن طیب (مرغوب اور خود کے لئے صحت افزا)چیزوں میں سے جو ہم جناب نے رزق تم لوگوں کوعطا کیا ہے۔

• And you should not brim out - transgress in the granted sustenance; matter; otherwise it will become incumbent against you My taking criminal cognizance - seizing you.

اور تمہیں منع کیا جاتا ہے کہ اس معاملے میں طغیان مند بنو۔ایسا کرو گے تو میرا گرفت میں لینا تم لوگوں پر مستوجب ہو جائے گا۔

• Be mindful, should My taking criminal cognizance become incumbent upon someone, thereby, he is certainly ruined. [20:81]

متنبہ رہو؛میرا گرفت میں لینا جس کسی پر مستوجب ہو گیا تو اس کا انجام سمجھو کہ وہ خالی دامن ہو چکا ہے۔

• And indeed I am certainly forgiving for the one who recognized - repented his earlier conduct,  accepted - believed and conducted perfectly; and thereafter diligently remained aright guided". [20:82]

اور یہ حقیقت اپنی جگہ ہے کہ میں یقیناً اس شخص کے لئے درگزر اور پردہ پوشی کرتے ہوئے معاف فرمانے والا ہوں جو الحاد اور کفر سے تائب ہو گیا، ایمان لے آیا اور صالح اعمال پر کاربند ہو گیا، بعد ازاں اس نے خلوص سے اپنے آپ کو راہ ہدایت پر اسقامت سے گامزن رکھا۔

• [When he arrived earlier than the appointed date, he was asked]  "You explain what prompted hasten you to leave your nation, O Mūsā." [20:83]

اللہ تعالیٰ نے پوچھا”اورکیا وجہ ہے جس نے آپ کو اپنی قوم کو چھوڑ کر یہاں عجلت میں آنے پر راغب کیا؟ اے موسیٰ(علیہ السلام)؟“

• He replied, "They have become such people well established in exactly following my way —

انہوں (موسیٰ علیہ السلام)نے عرض کیا”وہ میرے بتائے ہوئے طرز عمل پر عمل پیر ا ہیں۔

• And I hastened towards You the Exalted, my Sustainer Lord, to win appreciation, approval and pleasure of Your Majesty." [20:84]

اس حالت کے پیش نظر میں نے آپ کی جانب آنے میں جلدی کی،اے میرے رب! اس خواہش کے زیر اثرکہ آپ جناب کی رضا پاؤں۔“(طہٰ۔۸۴)

• He (Allah the Exalted) told him, "Then know it, Our Majesty have let your nation in liquefying trial—

انہوں نے بتایا”آپ کی بات صحیح ہے مگر آپ کے چلے آنے کے بعد ہم جناب نے آپ کی قوم کو آزمائش میں مبتلا رہنے دیا ہے۔

• Since Sa'mri has made them neglectfully straying, after you left them." [20:85]

اس حال میں کہ سامری انہیں منحرف اور گمراہ کر چکا تھا”(طہٰ۔۸۵)

• They (influential people) said: "We did not alter your proclamation by exercising our authority —

انہوں (صاحب حیثیت)نے کہا ”ہم نے اپنے اختیار سے آپ کے وعدے کے خلاف نہیں کیا۔

• But we were entrusted holding the weights comprising of valuables (coins, jewelry, ornaments) of people, which, pursuant to demand we laid them off.

 لیکن لوگوں کی زیب و زینت والا سامان ہمارے پاس  رکھوایا ہواتھا  تو ان کے مطالبہ کرنے کی وجہ سے  ہم نے امانت  کا بوجھ اتار کر انہیں دے دیا۔

• This demand was because Sa'mri had suggested it. [20:87]

 انہوں نے یہ مطالبہ ویسے ہی کیا تھا جیسے سامری نے انہیں سجھایا تھا۔

• Having taken the metallic jewelry, he brought out/crafted for them a calf dummy — Bellowing was a feature given for it.

اس طرح زیورات کو ڈھال کر   بچھڑا  نما  جسد بنا کر ان کے لئے نکال لایا۔جانور جیسی آواز نکلنا اس  کے لئے توجہ کا باعث تھا۔

• Thereupon, they the owners of ornaments said to us, "This (Golden Calf) is the iela'aha: godhead of you people, and the iela'aha: godhead of Mūsā [alai'his'slaam]. However, he has abadoned and forgotten it." [20:88].

اس انوکھے پن کو دکھا کر ان مالکان زیورات نے کہا’’یہ تم لوگوں کا معبود ہے اور موسیٰ(علیہ السلام)کا معبود ہے۔مگر چونکہ وہ کہیں اور مصروف ہے اس لئے اس نے اس کو ترک کر دیا ہے‘‘۔

• [They were confronted with evident matter of simple common sense] "Could they not see that it: golden-calf was not turning to them a verbal expression in the manner of speech —

انہیں عام فہم بات کا سامنا کرایا گیا کہ اگر آواز کا نکلنا تعجب خیز تھا تو کیا انہوں نے یہ نہیں دیکھا کہ وہ ان کی جانب کوئی بات بیان کر کے رجوع نہیں کرتا تھا۔

• And that neither calf-effigy was holding for them any power - capacity for harming, and nor for benefiting them?" [20:89]

اور یہ کہ ان کے لئے نہ کسی ضرر اور نہ پہنچانے کی صلاحیت و قوت رکھتا ہے۔

• [And as for their other excuse] Know it, certainly Haroon [alai'his'slaam] had earlier told them:

اورانہوں نے یہ حرکت  باوجود اس کے کی کہ ھارون(علیہ السلام)قبل ازیں ان سے یہ کہہ چکے تھے:

• "O my nation! You are indeed put into liquefying trial by it (crafting of calf-effigy) and their assertion about it —

’’اے میری قوم!تم لوگوں کو اس کے ذریعے جذباتی ہیجان و فتور میں مبتلا کیا گیا ہے۔

• And the fact is that the Sustainer Lord of you people is Ar'Reh'maan the Exalted —

اور حقیقت یہ ہے کہ تم لوگوں کے پروردگار الرّحمٰن (ذوالجلال و الاکرام)ہیں۔

• Therefore, follow me in letter and spirit —

چونکہ تمہیں فتنہ سے بچانے کے لئے میں حقیقت بتا رہا ہوں اس لئے میری پیروی کرو۔

• And you people wholeheartedly accept my command." [20:90]

اور میں جو بات کہہ رہا ہوں تم لوگ اس کو تسلیم کرو‘‘۔

• They replied, "We will not cease sitting around it until Mūsā [alai'his'slaam] returns to us." [20:91]

انہوں نے جواب دیا’ہم اس کے گرد بیٹھے رہنے سے اس وقت تک نہیں ہٹیں گے جب تک موسیٰ(علیہ السلام)ہمارے پاس لوٹ کر نہیں آ جاتے‘‘۔
