• Recollect the history; When Mūsā [alai'his'slaam] said to his nation:

تاریخ سے آگاہ رہو؛اس دور کی جب موسیٰ (علیہ)السلام نے اپنی قوم کے لئے فرمان جاری کیا:

• "O my nation! Recall the grace of Allah the Exalted upon you people —

"اے میری قوم!اللہ تعالیٰ کی اس نعمت/عزت افزائی کو یاد  کرو جس سے انہوں نے تمہیں نوازا اور سرفراز کیا ہے:

• That He the Exalted appointed amongst you the few Chosen and Elevated Allegiants as Messengers —

جب انہوں نے  اپنے منتخب کردہ اشرف اور محترم قرار دئیے  چندبندوں کو تمہارے درمیان بطور رسول مقرر فرمایا۔

• And rendered you people self-rulers (by rescuing from slavery in Egypt) —

اور تم لوگوں کو(غلامی سے نجات دلا کر)خود مختار قوم بنا دیا۔

• And gave you people that which He had not given in human history for which there is till date no precedence in history. [5:20]

اور تم لوگوں کو وہ عنایت کیا جسے عنایت کرنے کے اقوام عالم میں کوئی نظیر موجود نہیں   تھی۔

• O my nation! you people enter into the land unit with defined boundaries: city whose characteristic feature is that it is rendered free of faults. Its other peculiarity is: Allah the Exalted has ordained-allocated it for you people —

اے میری قوم!تم لوگ داخل ہو جاؤ متعین جغرافیائی حدود والے زمینی مقام پر جس کی خصوصیت یہ ہے کہ اسے کجی کی حالت میں نہیں رہنے دیا گیا۔اور اس کی دوسری خصوصیت یہ ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے اس سرزمین (یروشلم)کو تمہارے لئے قانونی طور پر لکھ دیا ہے۔

• And you should not retreat backwards [in case of resistance] —

اور تم لوگوں کو چاہئے کہ مزاحمت کے امکان اور خوف محسوس کر کے دانستہ اپنی پشت پر نہیں پلٹو۔

• Thereat, you would render yourselves as losers". [5:21]

ایسا کرو گے تو اس کا انجام یہ ہو گا کہ تم لوگ اصل حالت میں پلٹائے ہو جاؤ گے،خود اپناخسارا کرنے والوں کے حال جیسا"۔

• They replied: "O Mūsā [alai'his'slaam]; certainly a people of great strength and power are living therein.

انہوں نے جواب دیا"اے موسیٰ(علیہ السلام)حقیقت یہ ہے  کہ جباروں پر مشتمل قوم اس کے اندر آباد ہے۔

• And we might never enter in it until and unless they might depart there from.

اور ہم اس میں اُس وقت تک  قطعاً  داخل نہیں ہوں گے جب تک کہ وہ لوگ وہاں سے نکل   نہیں  جاتے۔

• Thereby, should they depart from the city, thereat we will certainly be the enterers." [5:22]

چونکہ یہ ہماری شرط ہے اس لئے اگر وہ وہاں سے نکل جائیں گے تو یقیناً ہم اس وقت داخل ہو جائیں گے"۔

• Two men accompanying those who were fearful of the dwellers of that city; Allah the Exalted  had showered grace upon them two; said to fearing people:

دو مردوں نے جن کے قبیلے کا تعلق ان لوگوں سے تھا جو خوف محسوس کر رہے تھے ان سے کہا۔اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان دونوں کو جرأت اور حوصلے سے سرفراز کیا تھا۔

• "You people enter upon them through the main gate. Thereat, the moment you have entered the gate thereby indeed you will be victorious-over powering —

"تم لوگ مرکزی دروازے سےان پر داخل ہو جاؤ۔اس طرح جب تم اس(دروازے)سے داخل ہو جاؤ گے تو یقیناً تم لوگ غلبہ پا لو گے۔

• And keep your trust and reliance upon Allah the Exalted if you people are truly the believers". [5:23]

داخل ہونے کا مصمم ارادہ کر لینے پر تم لوگ اللہ تعالیٰ پر بہتر نتائج کے لئے بھروسہ اور اعتماد رکھو اگر تم لوگ واقعی مومن ہو"۔

• [unmoved] They said: "O Mūsā [alai'his'slaam]! We will certainly not enter therein so long as they are present in it.

انہوں نے ان مردوں کو جواب دینے کی بجائے کہا"اے موسیٰ(علیہ السلام)یہ اٹل بات ہے کہ ہم اس سرزمین میں کبھی   داخل نہیں  ہوں گے جب تک وہ(جبار لوگ)بدستور اس میں رہائش رکھے ہوئے ہیں۔

• Hence you go; you and your Sustainer Lord; thereat you both engage in war with them; we will certainly remain stationed here." [5:24]

چونکہ ہم نے اپنا ارادہ بتا دیا ہے اس لئے آپ جائیں،آپ اور آپ کے رب؛پھرآپ دونوں ان سے جنگ کریں؛ ہم یقیناً یہیں بیٹھے ہوئے ہیں"۔

• He (Mūsā [alai'his'slaam]) prayed: "My Sustainer Lord! I have authority and control over none except upon myself and my brother.

انہوں(موسیٰ علیہ السلام)نے کہا"میرے رب!یہ حقیقت ہے کہ میں اپنے آپ پر اور اپنے بھائی کے علاوہ دوسروں پر حکمرانوں جیسا اختیار نہیں رکھتا۔

• Therefore, do draw a separation between us and between people who are Al'Fasi'qeen: aberrant those who dissolutely move out of the bounds and restraints; the wicked nation" [5:25]

چونکہ یہ میری بات کو اٹل انداز میں رد کر رہے ہیں اس لئے آپ جناب ہمارے  اورفاسقوں کی قوم کے مابین راہیں الگ کرنے کی اجازت دے دیں"۔

• He the Exalted told him: "Be informed; This City is thereby forbidden upon them for forty years. They will during this period wander bewildered in the Earth.

ان جناب نے جواب دیا"چونکہ انہوں نے موقع خود گنوا دیا ہے اس لئے یہ سر زمین ان کے لئے ممنوعہ قرار دے دی گئی ہے،چالیس سالوں کے لئے؛یہ کرہ ارض میں بھٹکتے پھرتے رہیں گے۔

• Therefore, you need not feel sorry - lament for Al'Fasi'qeen: aberrant: those who dissolutely move out of prescribed bounds and restraints; wicked nation". [5:26]
