اور ہم جناب نے آپ (ﷺ) کی جانب یقینامجتمع انداز میں  معنی و مفہوم میں واضح آیتیں نازل فرما دی ہیں۔

• Know the fact that none refuses accepting them except: "al-fasiqoon": the aberrant - who dissolutely move out of the bounds and restraints. [2:99]

اور یہ جان لو کہ اِن کا مسلسل انکار(اعلانیہ /یاچھپا کر)کوئی نہیں کرتاسوائے اُن لوگوں کے جو فاسق /عہد،حدودشکن ہیں۔

• [reverting back to their historical conduct] Is it not a fact that every time they had bi-laterally consented a contract, a group influential amongst them had discarded it?

اورکیا یہ سچ نہیں کہ ہر بار جب انہوں نے ایک عہد کا پابندرہنے کا عہد کیا تھا تو اُن کا ایک فریق اُس عہدکو پس پشت ڈال دیتا تھا۔

• Take note (remaining true to their tradition): What they did as soon a Messenger [Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] came to them, about whose arrival they had the prior information and covenant of believing in him, from Allah the Exalted  —

 اور جوں ہی اللہ تعالیٰ کی جانب سے ایسے ر سول ان کے پاس پہنچ گئے جن کے متعلق انہیں تحریری طور پر پہلے سے مطلع اور ایمان لانے کا پابند کیا ہوا تھا،۔

• He (the Messenger) is Testifier-Affirmer-Certifier-Sanctifier-Authenticator for that which was with them —

اور جن کی خصوصیت یہ ہے کہ وہ تصدیق و توثیق فرمانے والے ہیں  اس کی جو ان کے پاس نازل کردہ کلام اللہ ہے۔

• The influential Elite-religious group of the People whom the Book had earlier been given, placed away the Book of Allah the Exalted behind their backs-deliberately discarded the covenant written therein —

توان لوگوں  میں  سے جنہیں قبل ازیں کتاب سے نوازا گیا تھا  جلن اور حسد کا شکار بننے والے ایک فریق (عمائدین یہود)نےاللہ تعالیٰ کے  کلام پر مشتمل کتاب کو اپنی پیٹھ پیچھے پھینک دیا۔

اس انداز میں جیسے گویا وہ کچھ جانتے ہی نہیں۔

• Moreover, know about their past conduct: they wilfully inclined towards pursuing that which the Satanic minded used to spread-communicate to people in the kingdom of Sulie'maan [alai'his'slaam]. [Ill-doings of evil mongers do not implicate the Ruler therefore]

اور ان کی ماضی کی تاریخ میں یہ بھی ہے (رسولوں کی اپنے من کو پسند نہ آنے والی باتوں کا انکار کر کے اور اپنے عہدوں کوپس پشت ڈالنے کے علاوہ)اُن باتوں کی پیروی میں لگ گئے جو سلیمان (علیہ السلام) کی سلطنت میں شیطان صفت لوگ سنایا کرتے تھے۔

• Be aware that Sulie'maan [alai'his'slaam] did not deny to abhor magic tricks in line with teaching of Mūsā [alai'his'slaam] but it were the evil-Satanic minded in his kingdom who denied.

(وقت کے حکمران سلیمان علیہ السلام پر رعایا میں سے شیطان صفت لوگوں کی حرکات کی بنا ء پرانکار کا الزام لگاناغلط اور لغو ہے کیونکہ)سلیمانؑ نے تو  موسیٰ (علیہ السلام )کے قول  ممانعت ِسحرکا انکار نہیں کیا تھا بلکہ انکار تو  شیطانوں نے کیا۔

• These Satanic character evil men taught to people the magical illusory tricks —

وہ لوگوں کوفریب نظر سے تخیل پیداکرنے کا ہنرسکھاتے تھے۔

• And in addition to telling illusionary tricks they taught people that [delusion tactics perhaps hypnosis] which had come to two prominent men of leadership within the city Babylon, named Ha'root and Ma'root.

اور وہ دونوں [ھاروت اور ماروت] کسی شخص کو وہ ہنر نہیں سکھاتے تھے جب تک اُس کے سامنے یہ دعویٰ نہیں کر لیتے ”ہم محقق ،اس علم میں کندن ہیں اِس لئے تجھے اِس علم کوسیکھنے سے انکار نہیں کرنا چاہئے“۔

• Thereupon, interested people purposefully agreed to learn from one of them such techniques through which they could cause seclusion between the targeted husband and the wife of him.

اِس [دعویٰ مہارت]سے متاثر ہو کر دلچسپی اور مقصد رکھنے والے لوگ  اُن دونوں میں کسی ایک سے وہ ہنر/گُر سیکھنے پر رضامند ہو جاتے تھے جس کے ذریعے یہ امکان پیدا ہو جائے کہ خاوند اور بیوی میں جدائی ڈالی جاسکے۔

• -- But merely by attaining this knowledge they could certainly not become injurer for anyone except if Allah's prior consent/permission was also there --.

(اور ایسایہ سوچے سمجھے بغیرکرتے تھے کہ) اگرچہ یہ کر کے بھی اذنِ الہی کے بغیر کسی ایک کو بھی کوئی ضررپہنچا نے والے نہیں بن سکتے تھے۔

• And they purposefully self learnt that which only caused them loss but not profited them.

 اِس کے باوجود پھر بھی ایسی (لغو اور بیکار)باتیں سیکھتے جو انہیں نقصان تو پہنچاتیں لیکن انہیں نفع نہ دیتیں۔

• And indeed they already knew that the one would have no share in the happiness of the Hereafter who consciously and purposely had made such tactics a profession/business activity.

اور(اِن کے احمقانہ پن کو دیکھو) وہ جانتے تھے کہ جس نے یہ کاروباراختیار کیا اُس کے لئے آخرت میں کوئی حصہ نہیں ہو گا۔

• And certainly how vile was that/the price-gain with/for which they did sell/bargain their selves —

اور وہ بات یقینابری اور بیکار تھی جس کے عوض انہوں نے اپنے آپ کو بیچ ڈالا۔

• Had they but known-realized that how vile was the gain price. [2:102]

 اگر وہ اتنی سیدھی سادہ حقیقت کوجان لیتے تو ممکن ہے ایسا نہ کرتے! ۔

• And had they heartily accepted belief and had they endeavoured to attain salvation, a great award from Allah the Exalted would have been certainly far better [than what they had opted] —

اور اگر وہ ایمان لاتے اور تقویٰ اختیار کرتے تو یقینا اللہ تعالیٰ کے ہاں سے ملنے والا اجر اُن کیلئے زیادہ بہتر ہوتا۔

• Had they but knew-realized it. [2:103]

 (ایسا تو تب ممکن تھا)اگرانہوں نے (کتاب اللہ کو پیٹھ پیچھے پھینکنے کی بجائے)علم حاصل کیا ہوتا۔
