• Now know the history of formation of your own community; when the Sustainer Lord of Iebra'heim [علیہ السلام] had Personally assigned to him certain matters aimed at exposure of his potentialities, whereby he responded and heartily accomplished those commanded words.

اپنی ملت کے آغاز کی تابناک تاریخ بھی جان لو، جب اُن کے رب نے ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) کو ان کی شخصیت کو اجاگرکرنے کے لئے چند معاملات سونپ کر جانچا تھا توانہوں نے اپنی صلاحیت کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے انہیں بخوبی انجام دیا۔

  • He the Exalted said: "Know it that I am declaring you as Chief-Leader for the People."

 انہوں (ان کے رب)نے فرمایا”میں آپ کومخصوص لوگوں کے لئے بطور امام(ملت کا سربراہ)قرار دینے لگا ہوں۔

  • He (Iebra'heim) enquired, "And would some of my progeny be made Chief-Leader!".

انہوں (ابراہیم علیہ السلام)نے پوچھا”کیا آپ جناب میری ذریت میں سے بھی کسی کو لوگوں کے لئے امام قرار دیں گے؟“۔

  • He the Exalted answered; "My Commitment will however not extend to the evil-doers unjust of your progeny." [2:124]

 انہوں (ان کے رب)نے فرمایا”ایسا ہے،مگر میرا یہ عہدتیری ذریت میں حقیقت کے منافی بگاڑ کا رویہ اپنانے والوں تک دراز نہیں ہو گا“۔

  • Further be informed; When Our Majesty appointed "The House" as the place of pilgrimage-return-assembly, awesome for the people; and declared it a place of safety-shelter-amnesty:

اورجب ہم نےتعمیر مکمل ہونے پر”ٱلْبَيْت“ کو لوگوں کیلئے لوٹنے،رجوع کرنے کی جگہ قرار دیا/مقرر فرمایا اور جائے امان قرار دیا

  • We had ordered to the effect: "you people adopt a part of standing place of Iebra'heim [علیہ السلام] around the House; where he stood while raising it, as assembly place of As-sa'laat: Time Bound Protocol of Servitude and allegiance".

اور حکم جاری فرمایا”تم لوگ اخلاص سے مقامِ ابراہیم (علیہ السلام،البیت کی چاردیواروں کے اردگرد کھڑے ہونے کی جگہ)میں سے کسی جگہ کو بطور مصلیٰ اختیار کر لو“۔

  • Moreover, We had imposed a pledge-enjoined duty upon Iebra'heim and Iesma'eile [علیہم السلام].

اور ہم نے ابراہیم اور اسماعیل (علیہما السلام)سے عہد لیا/انہیں پابند کیا ۔

  • The assigned responsibility was: "You both manage and maintain the cleanliness-sanctity of My House for those people who walk around it; and for those who stay around it; and for those who perform act of kneeling coupled with the trait as performers of  prostration.". [2:125]

اس پر ابراہیم (علیہ السلام)نے استدعا کی’’اے میرے رب!آپ اس قصبہ کوایسا مقام قرار دیں جو لوگوں کو امن و امان،تحفط کا ضامن ہو۔

  • And do grant sustenance of variety of fruits to its inhabitants, those of them who heartily became believers of Allah the Exalted and the Last Day."

اورآپ اس قصبہ کے رہنے والوں میں سے ان کو جو اللہ تعالیٰ اور یوم آخر پر ایمان لایا ثمرات میں سےرزق عطا فرمائیں‘‘۔

  • He the Exalted replied: "However, for reason being the Sustainer Lord of all I will also grant him who disavowed, for a little period; thereafter [on the Day of Judgment] I will cause him driven to the torment of heated Hell-Prison".

انہوں(اللہ تعالیٰ)نے جواب دیا’’انہیں دونگا،اور اسے بھی دوں گا جو ان کا انکار کرتا ہے،ایک قلیل مدت کی بات ہے۔بعد ازاں(یوم ّخر)میں اسے جھلسانے والے عذاب کی جانب دھکیل دوں گا؛

  • Beware, how vile is this abode-destination to land in. [2:126]

اور کیا بری منزل ہے یہ،رہائش پذیر ہونے کے لئے‘‘۔

  • And know when earlier Iebra'heim [alai'his'slaam] and Iesma'eile [alai'his'slaam] were raising the Foundations having commenced building the House [on the plot/land identified for him-22:26], they prayed: "Our Sustainer Lord! Kindly grace with Your acceptance our masonry service.

اپنی تاریخ کے متعلق اور جان لو؛جس وقت ابراہیم اور اسماعیل(علیہما السلام)ہمارے گھر کی تعمیر کا آغاز کر کے بنیادوں کو اوپر اٹھا رہے تھے ،انہوں نے دعا مانگی ’’ہمارے رب!ہماری جانب سے  اس معماری کو شرف قبولیت بخشیں۔

  • The fact remains that You the Exalted are certainly the Ever Listener, eternally and absolutely; You are the Source of knowledge - setter of sciences. [2:127]

آپ کے متعلق یہ حقیقت ہے،آپ ہر لمحہ ہر آواز کو سننے والے ہیں،آپ منبع علم ہیں۔

  • They further prayed: Our Sustainer Lord! And do declare us as two Muslims who are perpetually Monotheist Believer for You the Exalted.

اے ہمارے رب!آپ جناب ہم(باپ بیٹے) کو دو ایسے مسلمان قرار دیں جو آپ کے لئے ہمیشہ توحید پر ایمان رکھنے والے ہیں۔

  • Moreover, You the Exalted do keep- declare amongst the progeny of both of us a community remaining Muslim- subservient exclusively for You the Exalted.

  • اورآپ ہماری ذریت(نسل،اولاد)میں سے ایک کودین اسلام پر کاربند امت قرار دیں جو آپ کے لئے ہمیشہ توحید پر ایمان رکھنے والے ہیں۔

  • Our Sustainer Lord! And raise a revivalist amongst them as messenger who is characteristically a perpetually Monotheist Believer amongst them- ["Our Progeny" refers to and solely denotes Muslim community of Iesma'eile's progeny].

ہمارے رب! آپ مبعوث فرمائیں ان (ہم دونوں کی ذریت)کے درمیان ایک رسول جو ان میں ایک ایسا مرد ہو جو ہمیشہ توحید پر کاربند مومن ہو۔

  • He will recite word by word-syllable by syllable the Aa'ya'at: Verbal Unitary Passages of the Book of You the Exalted. And he will educate them to read and copy writing the Book, and will teach them how to attain the wisdom-capability to perceive the information about invisible realities. And he will intellectually uplift-sanctify them [by removing shackles of conjectural myths/distorted beliefs].

  • The fact remains that You the Exalted are certainly the Pervasively and absolutely dominant; and the Infinitely Just Supreme Administrator of the created realm, visible and invisible." [2:129]

یقینا آپ کے بارے حقیقت یہ ہے کہ آپ دائمی،ہر لمحہ،ہرمقام پرحتماً غالب ہیں۔ اورآپ بدرجہ اتم انصاف پسند تمام موجود کائنات کے فرمانروا اور تمام پنہاں کو جاننے والے ہیں"۔

The literary device of alliteration is used in this frame. It begins consecutive sentence with the same consonant or words with the same sound to achieve the effect of alliteration.

The writing style of Qur'aan is imagery, a figure of speech, which employs words to create mental images in the mind of the reader. It makes the reader feel as if he is present in the very moment, right between the lines. Words that do not stimulate imagination are just symbols sprinkled on a blank piece of paper. Images and emotions are recreated by using vivid descriptions and comparisons with the help of sound words.

The verbal sentence: يَرۡفَعُ shows to my imagination an on going activity. Gradually raising something from a base reference point. The mood of verb is indicative. The imperfect indicative mood verb does not restrict itself to any idea of time; it indicates enduring existence, begun and incomplete, either in past, present or future time. In English grammar, we call it "the indefinite present".

What was he raising: ٱلۡقَوَاعِدَ plural noun. It means the boundaries that demarcate the sitting area. This is the sub-part of a building. It is perceived as a whole but it has its own sub-parts - its four sides and layers rising from the first layer laid some distance beneath the surface of the Earth.

The commencement of structuring the building - the House is the First layer of foundation. The starting point of: يَرۡفَعُ is the First layer of foundation stones.

مِنَ ٱلۡبَيۡتِ Prepositional phrase relates to the circumstantial clause. The preposition signifies the local and temporal point of departure, the point at which act or state has commenced. The sentence remains complete, meaningful and void of ambiguity even if this Phrase was not there. But the imagery will be lost.

The sentence is so beautifully structured that the reader can even visualize the exact moment they prayed; they had already laid the first layer of Foundation which needs full concentration of mind and great care because the stability of the building depends upon it.

This also confirms to me that the opinions of it been the built of days of elevated Messenger Noah alahissalm are mere palavers because laying the first layer of foundation is the time of origin of a building.

  • Undoubtedly the FIRST House appointed for the peoples is certainly the one that was laid [on foundation by Iebra'heim along with Iesma'eile [alai'his'slaam]] on a plot in the Town named Becca [in those days; later part of City: Mecca].

  • Its prominent characteristic is that it is perpetuated. And that it is beacon of guidance for the mankind. [3:96]
