• O those people who have proclaimed to have believed in the Messenger and Qur’ān, listen;

!اے وہ لوگوں جنہوں نے رسول کریم (محمّد ﷺ)اور قرءان مجید پرایمان لانے کا اقرارو اعلان کیا ہے توجہ سے سنو

• You should not declare as prohibited the nutrient and delicious things which Allah the Exalted has made permissible for you; and you should not be irrational committing excesses.

تم لوگ ان مرغوب ، صحت افزا ،کارآمد اشیاء  کو ممنوع مت قرار دو جسے اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمہارے کھانے اور استعمال کے لئے حلال بنایا اور قرار دیا ہے؛اور تم لوگ  طے شدہ امور میں دانستہ بے اعتدالی سے منع رہو۔

•  Remain mindful; Allah the Exalted does not appreciate and approve for nearness those who transgress-go beyond prescribed limits-rationality. [5:87]

• And You people eat selectively from the sustenance which Allah the Exalted has provided you; permissible and characteristically beneficial and nutrient for you.

اوراس رزق میں سے کھاؤ،جو  اللہ تعالیٰ نےتم لوگوں کو عنایت فرمایا ہے،اپنی پسند کے مطابق جسے حلال قرار دیا گیا ہے اورتمہارے لئے مرغوب اور صحت افزاء ہے۔

• And sincerely endeavour to attain the protection from Allah the Exalted; He the Exalted in Whom you are faithful believers. [5:88]

• Allah the Exalted will not hold you people accountable for your superfluous promissory chatters in sworn circumstances [since they are mere utterances of mouth of no import-consideration].

اللہ تعالیٰ تم لوگوں کو تمہاری ایسی قسموں کے حوالے سے قابل مؤاخذہ نہیں فرمائیں گے جولایعنی اورباتکرار ہیں۔

• But be mindful that Allah the Exalted will hold you responsible and accountable for those vows, pledges-promises which you have solemnly contracted/sworn. [well thought, determined, intentional]

مگر وہ جناب تمہارا مؤاخذہ ان قسموں کے حوالے سے کریں  گےجوتمہارے قلوب نے انجام دینے کا مصمم اظہار /پابند عہدکیا تھا۔

• For reason of not discharging the pledge, the expiation-absolving one's self is feeding ten indigent persons the food of average standard that you regularly serve your family —

اگر تم نے اپنے قسمیہ وعدہ و عہد پر عمل نہیں کیا تو اس سے بری الذمہ ہونے کا کفارہ دس مسکینوں کو اوسط معیار کا کھانا کھلانا ہے جو تم اہل خانہ کو کھلاتے ہو۔

• Or provide clothing to them; or free a bondwoman.

یا ان (مسکینوں)کے استعمال کے کپڑے مہیا کرنا ہے؛ یاخودمختاری سے عاری گھریلو ملازمہ کو خودمختاری کا پروانہ دینا ہو گا(اگر اس کے پاس ملازمائیں ہیں)

• Sequel to it; he who has not yet resources to meet the expenditure; thereat, fasting for three days is prescribed. [so that in future you become mindful and heedful]

اگر مذکورہ شخص کو متعین کفارہ ادا کرنے کی صلاحیت  حاصل نہیں تو اس صورت میں کفارہ تین دن روزہ رکھنا ہے۔

• This is how Allah the Exalted explicitly explicates His Aa'ya'at: Verbal Passages of Qur’ān rendering each point-concept-situation distinctly isolated and crystal clear for you people [for comprehension as was promised to the Messenger Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] —

اس تقابلی انداز میں اللہ تعالیٰ اپنی آیات کوتم لوگوں کے فہم کے لئے متمیز اور واضح فرما دیتے ہیں۔

• So that you might effectively recognize, acknowledge and express gratitude. [5:89]

امکان غالب ہے کہ تم لوگ(ابلیس کے گمان کے بر عکس)شکر گزار رہو گے۔
