• Take note; you are directed to reciprocally engage in war in the cause of Allah the Exalted with those people who wage war against you people - state. But you people should not and are hereby prohibited to purposely transgress to appease feelings of ill will.

اے ایمان کے مدعیان توجہ کرو؛ تم لوگوں کو حکم دیا جاتا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی راہ میں ان لوگوں سے جنگ کرو جو تم پر جنگ مسلط کرتے ہیں،مگر تم لوگوں کو چاہئے  اور منع کیا جاتا ہےکہ دانستہ    کدورت  کے جذبات کی تسکین کے لئے آگے مت بڑھو۔

  • Remain mindful that Allah the Exalted does not appreciate and approve for nearness those who transgress-go beyond prescribed limits-rationality. [2:190]

یقیناً اللہ تعالیٰ  دانستہ بے اعتدالیاں کرنے والوں کوقابل قدر نہیں گردانتے۔

  • [And in the cause of Allah engage with those only who have waged war against you people] And fight with them wherever they confront you in combat and drive them out from the place  [Mecca with reference to the point in time] from where they had driven you out.

اور ان جنگ مسلط کرنے والوں سے اس مقام پر جنگ کرو جہاں تمہارا ن سے آمنا سامنا ہو،اور انہیں وہاں سے  ملک بدر کر دو جہاں سے انہوں نے تمہیں نکالا تھا۔

  • -- And spreading chaos/irritation-disturbance-disquiet-intellectual deflections/dismembering unity and harmony/liquefying the community is a far greater-serious matter than the individual murder --.

(یہ ملک بدری اس لئے ضروری ہے)کیونکہ فتنے /خلفشار اور انتشارکا موجود رہنا جنگ سے زیادہ معاشرے کے لئے ہیجان خیز ہے۔

  •  [reverting from parenthetic to the main point] And you should avoid war in the precincts of Sacred Mosque till such time that they attack you within it —

اور تم لوگوں کو چاہئے کہ مسجد الحرام کے قرب و جوار میں ان سے جنگ نہ کرو جب تک کہ وہ وہاں تم سے جنگ شروع کر دیں۔

  • Subject to attack upon you it is not disrespect to the sanctity of Sacred Mosque, you fight them back.

اس لئے اگر وہ تم سے جنگ چھیڑتے ہیں تو تم بھی ان سے جنگ کرو۔

  • This is the response-return for disbelievers — [2:191]

یہ ہے وہ انداز جو قرءان مجید کا انکار کرنے والوں کے لئے سزا ہے۔

  • If in response to your retaliation they desist a full fledged war you also ignore the offensive —

جوابی جنگ سے نقصان اٹھانے پر اگر انہوں نے بوجوہ اپنے آپ کو جنگ سے باز کر لیا ہے(تو تم بھی جنگ روک دو)۔

  • Remember; Allah the Exalted is indeed Oft-forgiving-overlooking faults, the Merciful. [2:192]

کیونکہ یقینا اللہ تعالیٰ درگزر اور پردہ پوشی کرنے اور معاف فرمانے والے ہیں، منبع رحمت ہیں۔

  • And if they resist not you reciprocally fight with them conclusively till tumult no more remains and the System-Code of Conduct prevails exclusively for Allah the Exalted —

بصورت دیگران سے جنگ جاری رکھو حتیٰ کہ فتنہ باقی نہ رہے اور نظام  سلطنت اللہ تعالیٰ کی منشا کے مطابق قائم ہو جائے۔

  • For reason of defeat-surrender if they desist-end hostility, thereat, not at all violent attitude is allowed except requital upon those who are held guilty of oppression-war criminals. [2:193]

شکست خوردہ ہو کر اگر انہوں نے فتنہ بازی سے اپنے آپ کوواقعتاً روک لیا ہے تو پھر کسی بھی قسم کی تعزیر کی اجازت نہیں سوائے ان پرجنہوں نے جنگی جرائم کیے تھے۔

  • A month of sanctity can be honoured if its respect/dignity is also possessed by the other party.

تقدس والے مہینے کی حرمت کا پاس کرنا ضروری ہے اگر دوسری جماعت حرمت والے مہینے کے تقدس کا احترام کرتی ہے۔

  • And all sanctities-rights are to be followed to conclusion-adjudged in the manner of exactly following footsteps —

اور تمام تحریمات اور حقوق کے تحفظ کو پائے تکمیل تک پہنچانا ہے۔

  • Thereby, if someone had done to you people an unrestrained act-harm, thereat in keeping with the principle of proportionality: "al-horo'maa'to qisa'suen" you may [if you can't pardon/ignore] inflict upon him similar harm as he had inflicted upon you.

اس لئے عام زندگی میں بھی اگر کسی نے عداوت کی وجہ سے زیادتی کی ہے تو تم بھی اس کے ساتھ اس قدر زیادتی کر لو جتنی اس نے تمہارے ساتھ کی تھی۔

  • And sincerely endeavour to attain the protection from Allah the Exalted —

اورتم لوگ تندہی سے محتاط رہتے ہوئے اللہ تعالیٰ سے پناہ کے خواستگار رہو۔

  • And remember that Allah the Exalted is with those who sincerely endeavour to attain salvation. [2:194]

اور باعلم رہو کہ اللہ تعالیٰ یقیناًً متقین/محتاط اور غلط روش سے اپنے آپ کو محفوظ رکھنے والوں کے ساتھ ہیں۔

  • And you people spend your financial resources in the cause-seeking attention and Mercy of Allah the Exalted.

اور تم لوگ مال و دولت میں سے اللہ تعالیٰ کی راہ استوار رکھنے کے لئے خرچ کرو۔

  • And you should not cast yourselves into self ruin with your own hands by keeping fists closed [as is done by Muna'afiqeen-9:67].

اور تم لوگوں کو نہیں چاہئے کہ خود اپنے ہاتھوں(مٹھی بند رکھ کر)اپنے آپ کوہلاکت میں پھینکو۔

  • And you consciously adopt a balanced, graceful and generous conduct-approach towards others.

اور لوگوں کے ساتھ اعتدال اور حسن سلوک کا رویہ اپناؤ۔

  • It is a fact that Allah the Exalted appreciates-loves-acknowledges those who conduct moderately, gracefully and generously. [2:195]
