!اے وہ لوگوں جنہوں نے رسول کریم (محمّد ﷺ)اور قرءان مجید پرایمان لانے کا اقرارو اعلان کیا ہے توجہ سے سنو |

جب تم لوگ مقررہ وقت کی صلوٰۃ کی ادائیگی میں شمولیت کے لئے اٹھتے/قصد کرتے ہو۔ |
|
چونکہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے حضور پیش ہونے کا ارادہ کیا ہے اس لئے اپنے چہروں اور اپنے ہاتھوں کو کہنیوں کی جانب تک پانی سے دھو لو۔ |
|
اور گیلے ہاتھوں سے اپنے سروں کا مسح کرو۔ Root: ر ء س |
|
اور اپنے پاؤں کو دونوںٹخنوں کی جانب تک پانی سے دھو لو۔ Root: ك ع ب |
لیکن اگر اس وقت تم جنابت کی حالت میں ہو تو پہلے نہاکر اپنے آپ کو مطہر حالت میں کر لو۔ |

مگر اگر تم بیمار حالت میں؛ Root: م ر ض |
|
یا دوران سفر ہو؛ |
|
یا تم میں سے کوئی ڈھلوان زمین میں حاجت ضروریہ سے فارغ ہو کر آیا ہے؛ |
|
یا تم نے اپنی بیویوں سے حقوق زوجیت ادا کئے ہیں۔ Root: ل م س |
چونکہ کوشش کے باوجود تمہیں پانی نہیں مل سکا اور اس امکان کے پیش نظر کہ صلوٰۃ کی ادائیگی کا وقت کہیں نکل نہ جائے تو ازخود صاف ستھری زمین کی سطح سے خاک کو ہاٹھوں پر مل کر اس سے اپنے چہروں اور اپنے ہاتھوں پر ہلکا مساج کر لو۔ |
اللہ تعالیٰ کسی قسم کے ناگوار اور گھٹن کا احساس پیدا کرنے والے عمل کو تم لوگوں پربطور فرض مقرر کرنا نہیں چاہتے۔لیکن ان کا ارادہ تم لوگوں کو ہر طرح کی نجاست سے مطہر رکھنے کا ہے۔ Root: ط ھ ر |
اور ان جناب کا ارادہ اپنی نعمت (ترسیل ہدایت)کو تم پر اتمام کرنے کا ہے۔امکان غالب ہے کہ تم لوگ(ابلیس کے گمان کے بر عکس)شکر گزار رہو گے۔ |

اور اللہ تعالیٰ کی اس نعمت کو یاد رکھو جب انہوں نے تم لوگوں پررحمت العالمین کو رسول مبعوث فرما کر بھیجا تھا(البقرۃ۔151؛ءال عمران۔164 اورسورۃ الجمعہ۔٢)۔ |
اور ان جناب کے اس میثاق کو یاد رکھا کرو جس کا انہوں نے تم لوگوں کو اس وقت پابند کر دیا تھا جب تم نے رسول کریم(ﷺ)سے سن کر کہا تھا"ہم نے غور سےقرءان مجیدسن لیا ہے اور صدق دل سے ہم نے اسےتسلیم کر لیا ہے"۔ Root: و ث ق |
اورتم لوگ تندہی سے محتاط رہتے ہوئے اللہ تعالیٰ سے پناہ کے خواستگار رہو۔ |
یقیناً اللہ تعالیٰ اسے مکمل طور پر جانتے ہیں جو سینوں میں موجود ہے۔ |
Ablution:
:
It is a time bound protocol of servitude and allegiance. The man and his
brains remain busy in observing and performing other tasks. Is it possible by a
mere call that the busy brain might pack up all the "files and folders" and send
them back into deep shelves of memory and instantly switch over and enter into a
different realm of thought? We even need to refresh the "conscious brain-RAM" of
the computer when we wish to start a new assignment. Human brain also needs to
be refreshed for undertaking a new assignment.

There is a dispute about the case ending of first noun of this
possessive phrase. With accusative case ending it will be the direct
object of verb:

and if it it considered in genitive case, it will become the object noun

The later proposition is erroneous because of the meanings and irreducible features of both the verbs and
other collocates.

This transitive imperative verb relates to verbal noun: غَسْلٌ Root: غ س ل.
The basic perception infolded in Root is to wash with
water signifying the removing of dirt, or filth or the like thereof by
making water to run over it resulting in cleansing/free from
unpleasantness-impurity. And the basic perception infolded in the Root
"ط ه ر" is also to make something clean or pure from dirt or filth. In
both, the basic job done is to segregate oneself, one thing from the
impurities clung to it/around it. The distinction and peculiarity,
however, of the two is that "غ س ل" is restrictively used for
corporeal cleaning/purification with water while Root "ط ه ر" has
connotation both corporeal and ideological and can be attained both with
the help of water and otherwise.
The irreducible feature of it is the sprinkling of water on the surface of one object or flow of water in a direction if more than one object is to be cleansed. This irreducible feature is evident:
Thereat, for purpose to clean and mentally prepare- refresh memory, wash with water your faces and your hands towards and up to elbows [forearm];
The preposition: إِلَـى denotes direction; movement towards. Hands and elbows are two distinct parts of human body. Collectively they make the forearm. It can be washed by making the water flow from hands towards elbows or conversely from elbows towards hands. Instruction is washing hands towards elbows.

Ibn Faris [died
1005] stated
that it signifies passing, inserting a thing over
something in the manner of matting, spreading upon its surface. It thus
gives the perception of gently rubbing or massaging a part of body as is
evident by its use in 38:33
for rubbing, massaging the thighs and necks of horses.
When water is not available مَسْحٌ is only for hands and face;
neither
nor the feet and
is included in it. So is in ayah
4:43.
It is thus abundantly explicit that the injunction is to wash the feet starting from the toes towards the ankles-a separate part when water is available.
It is important to note that only those parts of the body are selected for washing which are mostly uncovered and are open. The cells of the skin keep dying. Every minute about 30,000 to 40,000 cells of the skin die. On epidermis: the part of the skin we see, are many dead cells mixed with sticky-waxy secretions by sebaceous and sweat glands. This requirement for As-salat: Time bound protocol of servitude and allegiance enables us refresh and clean our skin; and wiping of the hair helps protect them from damage by dust and pollution of the atmosphere. الحمد للہ Moreover, this ablution enables us refresh our memory like the RAM of the computer to leave behind the worldly affairs to enter into a new realm. This is not a hassle but a blessing and purpose is:
Allah the Exalted does not want to appoint for you something irksome-hassle; rather He wants to cleanse-afresh you people; [Ref 5:06]

Time bound protocol of servitude and allegiance
The verbal sentence:
جَآءَ أَحَدٚ comprises of
verb perfect, third person, singular masculine signifying arrival coming
of someone from somewhere to somewhere. Its subject:
is pure indefinite with Tanween needing specification. The following
prepositional phrase relates to elided adjectival specification of the
indefinite subject of verb. Explicit indicators are there to recover the
elided element. The verb denoting his coming/arrival coupled with the
prepositional phrase: مِّن
ٱلْغَآئِطِ renders the elided element understood
and exoteric meanings explicit. The Preposition:
مِّن signifies motion proceeding from or away from
a place. Its object noun is definite by article. Its Root:
غ و ط
, according to lexicographer Ibn Faris, leads to the
perception of attaining calmness, and a depression, depth in land.
The Prepositional Phrase is par excellence use of Euphemism. By this literary device something thought to be offensive, embarrassing or unpleasant is avoided by an indirect expression. Indirect expression by employing Root: غ و ط is matchless as it has both the elements of attaining satisfaction and ease and depressed land that are associated with defecation in the open land which which was well known ancient practice. It was more common in less populated areas and in camping type situations.
