اس دن کا یہ واقعہ بھی جان لو؛ان (لوط علیہ السلام)کے پاس  شہر کے لوگ پہنچ گئے۔وہ شاداں حال مسرت کا اظہار کر رہے تھے۔

• He said to them, "Indeed these are my guests, therefore, you people should not let down/ embarrass me —  [15:68]

انہوں(لوط علیہ السلام)نے کہا"حقیقت یہ ہے کہ یہ لوگ میرے مہمان ہیں۔اس لئے تم لوگوں کو چاہئے کہ مجھے ان کے سامنے شرمندہ نہ کرو۔

چونکہ نزول عذاب کے مقررہ وقت سے قبل رسول اور ایمان والے بحافظت دور پہنچ چکے تھے اس لئے جوں ہی ہمارا فرمان نافذ العمل ہوا ہم جناب نے اس بستی کی اوپر کی سطح زمین کو اس کی نچلی تہہ بنا دیا(آتش فشاں کے کیچڑ نے سطح زمین بنا دی)۔
