!اے وہ لوگوں جنہوں نے رسول کریم (محمّد ﷺ)اور قرءان مجید پرایمان لانے کا اقرارو اعلان کیا ہے توجہ سے سنو

  • You people seek assistance (from Allah the Exalted) maintaining coolly perseverance and As-sa'laat: Time Bound Protocol of Servitude and allegiance.

اللہ تعالیٰ سے تم لوگ اپنی ذات میں اعتدال اور پختگی پیدا کرنے کے طلبگار استعانت رہو،استقامت و استقلال،ضبط و برداشت اور صلوٰۃ کے ذریعے۔

  • It is a fact that Allah the Exalted is with those who are patiently consistent and determined-coolly perseverant. [2:153]

یقینا اللہ تعالیٰ استقامت،استقلال،ضبط و برداشت سے حقیقت پر کاربند رہنے والوں کے ساتھ ہیں۔(البقرۃ۔۱۵۳)۔

  • Take note, you people should not and are hereby prohibited to say in respect of those who get murdered-slain while engaged in the cause of Allah the Exalted; "they are dead".

اورتم لوگوں کو اُن کے متعلق یہ نہیں کہنا چاہئے اور ممانعت کی جاتی ہے جو اللہ تعالیٰ کے مقرر کردہ راہ /نظام کے دفاع میں قتل کر دیئے جائیں کہ وہ مردہ ہیں۔

  • Nay, they are not dead, they have not lost life but are alive. However, you people are in a state that you cannot pursue and perceive that life by senses. [2:154]

وہ مردہ نہیں،انہوں نے زندگی کو کھویا نہیں ۔درحقیقت وہ حیات ہیں لیکن تم لوگوں کے تصور/شعور میں وہ حیات نہیں آ سکتی (عدم تجربہ کی بناء پر)۔

  • Be aware, Our Majesty will certainly persist subjecting you people to a test for exposure of your potentialities—true worth through something of disturbance-feel of insecurity-fear and economic recession - food shortage and some loss in property-worldly material and personal lives and the crops-fruit yields.

مطلع رہو، ہم جناب تم لوگوں کی اندرونی شخصیت کو منظر عام پر لانے کے لئے مختلف طریقوں سے آزمائش میں ڈالتے رہیں گے،ایسے حالات سے جن میں بدامنی خوف پیدا ہو؛معاشی بد حالی اور افلاس ہو، اور مال و جان اورپھلوں /فصلوں کی کمی ہو جائے۔

  • And you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] guarantee glad tidings to those who are steadfast and coolly perseverant. [2:155]

 اور آپ(ﷺ) ضبط و تحمل سے برداشت کرتے پائے اسقلال پر رہنے والوں کو خوشخبری دیں (حالات بہتر ہونے اور عظیم اجر کی)(البقرۃ۔۱۵۵)۔

  • They (the coolly perseverant) are the people — when a calamity-perturbation-untoward incident would have afflicted them:

یہ(صابرین)وہ لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے جس وقت بھی کوئی مصیبت،ناگوار،ناخوشگوار تکلیف پہنچی  یہ ردعمل دیا:

  • They said: "Indeed we are persistently allegiant for Allah the Exalted; and indeed we have to return any moment for accountability towards Him the Exalted". [2:156]

انہوں نے فوراً کہا’’یقیناً ہم ہر لمحہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی فرمانبرداری کے لئے سر تسلیم خم ہیں ؛اور یقیناً ہم نے کسی بھی لمحے ان کے  حضور پیش ہونا ہے‘‘۔

  • They (the coolly perseverant) are sure of the blessings of tranquillity and mercy to shower upon them from their Sustainer Lord.

یہ ہیں وہ لوگ،ان کی  قدر جانو،ان کے رب کی جانب سے   ان پر دادو تحسین اور رحمت کی پھوار ہے۔

  • And they are truly the people who persistently and consciously guide their selves aright. [2:157]

اور یہ ہیں وہ لوگ جواز خود منزل کی جانب راہ پر گامزن رہتے ہیں۔

  • They (the coolly perseverant) are the people — when a calamity-perturbation-untoward incident would have afflicted them:

  • They said: "Indeed we are persistently allegiant for Allah the Exalted and indeed we return for mercy-reprieve and are accountable to Him the Exalted". [2:156]

This conditional sentence, with response clause comprising of a compound sentence, is a subordinate clause adjectivally portraying the coolly perseverant people mentioned in earlier Ayah.
