• He submitted; "I have affectionately surrendered to the Prescribed constitution; I will stand by it exclusively for the Sustainer Lord of Worlds-All that exists" [2:131]

تو انہوں نے کہا ”میں اس آئین کو تسلیم کر چکا ہوں، تمام جہانوں کے رب کیلئے اس کی پاسداری کا  فَرِیضَہ  انجام دینے کے لئے۔“

• And Iebra'heim [alai'his'slaam] and likewise Ya'qoob [alai'his'slaam] bound his Sons with this legacy.

اور(پاسداری کرتے ہوئے) اِس بات کی وصیت ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) نے اپنے بیٹوں (اسماعیل،اسحاق،یعقوب علیہم السلام) کو فرمائی۔اور(اُن کے پوتے)یعقوب (علیہ السلام) نے بھی یہ وصیت فرمائی:

(یہ جو برادران یوسف علیہ السلام کے خلاف باتیں کرتے رہتے ہو)بتاؤکیا تم لوگ اس وقت وہاں موجود تھے جب طبعی موت کا وقت یعقوب (علیہ السلام) کو آن پہنچا تھا؛

انہوں (بیٹوں؛یوسف علیہ السلام اور ان کے برادران) نے جواب دیا’’ہم بندگی کریں گے آپ کے اِلہٰ /معبود مطلق،اور آپ کے آباء / باپ دادا ابراہیم،اسماعیل اور اسحاق (علیہم السلام) کے اِلہٰ، وہ یکتا معبود مطلق ہیں۔
