o they are the ones who will be the residents/companions of/in Hell; they shall abide therein permanently". [7:36]

10:17] Therefore/for the reason who is a greater evil-doer/distorter/creator of imbalances/disorder/over stepping than the one who conjectures a falsehood attributing it to be from Allah [which is neither written in the Book of Allah nor there is tangible evidence from knowledge] or publicly contradicts His Aa'ya'at;
they are the people whom share from the written book/record will keep reaching [which conjectural concocted myths they had left behind]
till such time when Our sent ones/messengers [37:22] will alienate/segregate them [on revival/resurrection].

They were asked; "You people enter into the Hell to join generations of Jinn and human beings that had passed before you people in time" [each generation is adjudged in sequence and sent to Prison]
Each and every time a generation entered it condemned/cursed its sister generation
[the process continued] until when one after the other they all gathered in it/Hell Prison collectively
the later generation said in respect of/for their earlier generation
"Our Sustainer Lord! these are the people who made us neglectful/strayed therefore/for that reason award them punishment doubly in the Hell"
o He said, "for each and everyone is double punishment but you people do not know it" [placing them together resulting in mutual skirmishes/quarrels is in itself a punishment] [7:38]
And the earlier generation said for their later generation, "for reason for you people there is no superiority upon us
o hence taste the punishment for what you people earned/did". [Earlier generation is reiterating what is specifically warned today twice in same words 2:134;2:141] [7:39]
Indeed those people who publicly contradicted Our Aa'ya'at [of the Book sent] and they arrogantly, having made themselves obsessed with pride of superiority and grandeur, deviated away from them

for them the doors of the Sky will not be opened
[since doors will not be opened] and their entrance into the Paradise is not possible until a rope of the ship/camel passes through the needle's eye [and their entrance into Paradise is as impossible as the rope of the ship [or camel] can not pass through the needle's eye].
o And this is how do We punish the criminals/the proven guilty ones. [7:40]
For them is the resting bed in the [Heated] Hell and above them is coverings/layers [of high temperature].

And those who accepted/believed and did act righteously/moderately as directed,

and they said, "Glorifying praise is for Allah, the One who guided us for this [place] and it would not have been possible for us to get guidance had it not been that Allah guided us.
Undoubtedly the Messengers of our Sustainer Lord had come with a statement of proven fact"
