تاریخ کی ایک حقیقت یہ بھی ہے کہ (شیعب علیہ السلام کی قوم مدین کا مسکن)ٱلۡأَيْكَةِ میں بسنے والے  لوگ حقیقت کے منافی باطل طرز عمل اور ذہنی و فکری انتشار پیدا کرنے والے تھے۔

• Thereby, on termination of respite period Our Majesty convicted them to punishment;

چونکہ انہوں نے عنایت کردہ مہلت کاوقت ختم ہونے تک  اپنی روش کو برقرار رکھا اس لئے ہم جناب نے ان میں ایسے لوگوں کو مستوجب سزا قرار دے دیا۔

• And indeed in the past the "People of Rocks" [Civilization Sa'mued] publicly contradicted the Messengers sent to them. [15:80]

یاد رہے کہ ان سے قبل(قوم ثمود)پہاڑ نشین لوگوں نے ان کی جانب مبعوث فرمائے رسولوں کے بیان کو برملا جھٹلایا تھا۔

• And We gave them Our Aa'ya'at: Verbal passages; thereat, they deliberately and knowingly kept  avoiding, neglecting and refrained those. [15:81]

باوجود اس کے کہ ہم جناب نے  انہیں ایسی شہادتوں(آیات/معجزات)کو بھی عنایت کیا تھا جوتصور،تجربہ،سائنسی توجیہ  سےماورائے اِدراک  ہوتے ہوئے   سند اور برھان کی حیثیت رکھتی تھیں۔مگر چونکہ ان پر مفادات اور حکمرانی کی مصلحتوں کا غلبہ تھا اس لئے وہ ان سے بھی دانستہ اعراض برتتے رہے۔

• And they kept carving in the mountains residential houses, feeling quiet secure. [15:82]

۔اور یہ لوگ سکون اور بے خوفی سے پہاڑوں  میں سے پتھر نکال نکال کر گھربناتے تھے۔

چونکہ  مہلت کا وقت ختم ہو چکا تھا اور شیعب(علیہ السلام)اورایمان والوں کو بحافظت نکال لیا گیا تھا اس لئے وقت مقررہ پر ایک ہولناک دھماکے نے انہیں گرفت میں لے لیا جب صبح کے اجالے کی کرنوں میں وہ اٹھ رہے تھے۔
