Verse
26:220] Indeed He is the eternally All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. [44:06] [Same pronouncement in same words in
19:65;26:24;38:66;78:37] the Sustainer Lord of the Skies and the Earth and whatever is in between two of them;
if you people have been the convinced ones. [44:07]
There is no such reality as lord/deity/iela'aha except Him alone. [Same pronouncement in same words in
7:158;9:116;57:02] He gives life and causes to die. The Sustainer Lord of you people and the Sustainer Lord of the earlier forefathers of you people. [44:08]
Nay [they are not in a state of conviction] rather the fact is that they in their skepticism are playful. [44:09] [Read with
44:59] Therefore you, the Messenger [Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] make yourself in wait for the Day the Sky will bring evidently visible smoke-gaseous concentration [44:10]
which will veil/cloud the people.
[it will become known] This is a painful punishment. [44:11]
They will say, "O the Sustainer Lord of us! You remove away from us the punishment, indeed we have converted ourselves as believers". [44:12]
How for them be of benefit the Admonishment-Awakening Reminder [Grand Qur'aan]
while indeed manifestly recognized Messenger has come to them [44:13]
thereafter [having known the Messenger and the Grand Qur'aan] they turned away from him and they said, "a taught one made obsessed with delusions" [44:14]
Indeed We are the remover of the infliction for a little while;
indeed you people are the reversers [44:15]
The Day We will seize, the greatest-ultimate seizure, indeed We are the Authority for retribution. [44:16]
