And certainly We had subjected the people of Fir'aoun/Pharaoh to "liquefaction test" before them,
and had come to them the Exalted Messenger [44:17]
[Musa alai'his'slaam demanded] that "You people restore to me the servants/allegiants of Allah [Bani Iesraa'eel] [Same pronouncement in same words in 26:107,125,143,162,178] indeed I am for you people the trusted Messenger. [44:18] [Similar advice in
27:31]
and that you people must not exalt yourselves defiantly against command of Allah;
it is certain that I have come to you with manifestly evident authority; [44:19]
and certainly I have since taken refuge with the Sustainer Lord of me and the Sustainer Lord of you people that you people could hurl damage to me. [44:20]
And if you people have not yet decided to believe for me, thereby you people consciously keep yourselves aloof from me" [44:21]
Consequently/for reason he prayed to the Sustainer Lord of him that "these people are consciously determined criminals" [44:22] [Same information in
20:77;26:52] Thereat he was told, "You [O Musa] travel by night with my servants. [Same information in same words in
26:52] Indeed you people will be consciously chased. [44:23]
And [after having crossed over to the other side of Gulf of Suez on the Dry Bridge/Passage] you abandon the Sea, leaving ridged,
indeed they are the troops that will be caused to be drowned". [44:24]
They left behind many amongst gardens and springs; [44:25]
and harvested fields and par excellent places; [44:26]
and pleasant thing in which they people used to enjoy delightfully. [44:27]
This is how [We awarded them the punishment] and We made another people to inherit all those. [44:28]
As a sequel [their annihilation] neither [any one in] the Sky and nor the Earth shed tear/wept for them
and they were not given further respite. [44:29]
And indeed We had rescued Bani Iesraa'eel from the humiliating torture/anguish [44:30]
by Fir'aoun/Pharaoh. [Read with
28:04] It is a fact that Fir'aoun/Pharaoh was on extreme peak amongst the creators of distortions and imbalances/in-equilibrium. [44:31]
And certainly We had by design and knowledge given them affluence and betterment in preference over other contemporaries. [44:32]
And We had given/shown to them from the unprecedented demonstrative tangible signs in which was manifestly evident "liquefaction test and trial". [44:33]
