مزید تعزیری احکام جان لو؛جس چوری کے مرتکب  مرد اور چوری کے ارتکاب کی ملزمہ پر الزام ثابت ہو گیا ہے:

اوراس حقیقت سے باخبر رہو؛ اللہ تعالیٰ  دائمی،ہر لمحہ،ہرمقام پر مطلق غالب ہیں۔ اور بدرجہ اتم انصاف پسند تمام موجود کائنات کے فرمانروا اور تمام پنہاں کو جاننے والے ہیں

  • Thereby, whoever has returned repenting after his wrong-doing and excessiveness and has resolved to righteous conduct (forgive him to give a chance to become law abiding citizen):

اس سزا اور احباب و اقارب کی لاتعلقی پر جو کوئی  دوسروں کے مال کو چوری کرنے کی زیادتی پر ندامت کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے اس سے تائب ہو گیا اور آئندہ کے لئے اصلاح پر آمادہ ہو گیا(تو اسے معاف کر دو اور اچھا شہری بننے کا موقع دو)۔

  • Sequel to it Allah the Exalted will certainly respond turning upon him mercifully forgivingly.

ایسا کرو کیونکہ اللہ تعالیٰ اس شخص پرتوبہ کی قبولیت پر راجع ہیں۔

  • It is a fact that Allah the Exalted is repeatedly Forgiving-Overlooking-the fountain of Mercy. [5:39]

یقینا اللہ تعالیٰ  درگزر اور پردہ پوشی کرنے اور معاف فرمانے والے ہیں، منبع رحمت ہیں۔

  • Were it not already in your knowledge —

[لوگوں کی باتوں کو رہنے دیں، ان میں اکثر کو علم نہیں- النحل۔۱۰۱] کیا آپ نہیں جانتے/آپ تو جانتے ہیں ۔

  • That the dominion and governance of the Skies and Earth is exclusively the domain for Allah the Exalted.

کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ہیں، آسمانوں اور زمین پراقتدار اعلیٰ اور ان کا نظم و نسق صرف ان کے دائرہ کار میں ہے۔

وہ جناب  محاسبے کے نتیجے میں  جس کے متعلق قابل گرفت ہونے کا فیصلہ کریں گے اسےبطور سزا عذاب سے دوچار کریں گے  اور  جس کے متعلق درگزر کرنے کا فیصلہ کریں گے   اس کے لئے پردہ پوشی کرتے ہوئے معاف فرما دیتے ہیں ۔

  • Remain cognizant: Allah the Exalted has eternally the power over each and all matters to keep them subjugated by measure and equations. [5:40]

اوریقیناًاللہ تعالیٰ ہر ایک شئے اور معاملے کو پیمانوں میں مقید کرنے پر ہمیشہ سے قادر ہیں۔

The verbal sentence: فَاقْطَعُوا أَيْدِيَهُمَا has prefixed conjunction particle: فَ  which shows cause and effect, and initiates an apodosis clause.  Thus this sentence is a subordinate clause. Verb is imperative, second person, plural, masculine, of base form made from:  مصدر-قَطْعٌ verbal noun. This form of verb does not include in its semantic ambit the act of amputation: to cut off some appendage/part of the body. This fact is also evident from its direct object: أَيْدِيَهُمَا a possessive phrase, first noun is plural which signifies three and more objects. Obviously a convicted thief does not have three or more hands which could be imputed.

Allah the Exalted has laid down retributive justice system wherein the punishment is proportionate in response to crime.
