Resultantly when they felt disappointed/despaired from him, they secluded for private consultations.

The eldest of them said, "Do you not know that your father has indeed seized you with solemn pledge in Allah's name,

and before that do you not know what unjustified excess you committed in the case of Yu'suf.

[I feel ashamed] Therefore I will never leave this country until my father grants permission for me or Allah commands/decides for me

[Same pronouncement in same words in 7:87;10:109]o

and He is the best of the Judges. [12:80]

You people turn back to your father, on confronting him you say to him, "O our father, indeed your son stole and we have not testified to you except that what we know,

o

and we were not the protectors [as per our pledge and your quoted exception] for the unforeseen". [12:81]

[on reaching they stated and added] "And you ask the people in the town where we were and the caravan in which we have returned

o

and indeed we are truthful in our this statement". [12:82]

[Same pronouncement in same words in 12:18]

He said, "No, that is not the truth, in fact your inner selves have deluded for you the affair.

[Same pronouncement in same words in 12:18]

Therefore/as a result it is the most dignified perseverance [that can help].

May be that Allah soon brings them to me, they all collectively.

[Same pronouncement in same words in 12:100]o

Indeed He is eternally the All Knower and The Wise/Knower of invisible/secreted/infolded". [12:83]

And he turned away from them and sighed, "Alas my grief over Yu'suf [continues]"; and his eyes became white by the grief, resultantly/for this reason he was perturbed. [12:84]

They [got emotionally disturbed] said, "By Allah! you will persistently keep remembering and recalling Yu'suf until you reach extremity of illness or you may become who perish" [12:85]

He said, "Indeed I complain my distress and my grief to Allah;

[Same pronouncement in same words in 7:62;similar 12:96]o

and I know that from Allah about which you people do not have the knowledge. [12:86]

O my sons, you people go, then you inquire/find about Yu'suf and his brother,

[Read with 29:23]o

and you should not loose hope for Allah's Mercy/Will. Indeed none looses hope for Allah's Mercy/Will except the people who have persistently declined to accept". [12:87]

[they decided to first try to acquire youngest brother] In compliance thereof/for this mission when they entered upon him they said,

O you the Aziz, "Mental and psychological distress has effected us and our family;

[they have indicated to him the effect of retention of their younger brother] and we have come with a little capital [further elaborated that purpose of visit is not commercial],

therefore you give for us the equivalent measure, and you bestow/remit gift upon us.

o

Indeed Allah rewards those who bestow generous gifts" [12:88]

He replied, "Have you realized/known what you had done for once with Yu'suf and his brother when you were irrationally emotionalists?" [12:89]

[overpowered by suspense and happiness] They said, "Are you indeed! certainly you are Yu'suf"

He answered, "I am Yu'suf and this is my brother [whom you are demanding to remit as gift]

Indeed Allah has done obliging favour upon us.

Indeed he who remains cautiously heedful avoiding unrestrained conduct and remains coolly perseverant

[Same pronouncement in same words in 11:115, same info in 9:120]o

in consequence he is rewarded since Allah does not indeed let remain un-rewarded those who conduct moderately/ balanced way". [12:90]

They said, "Swear by Allah, certainly Allah has preferred you upon us

[they reiterated it 12:97]o

and that we were certainly the erring ones" [12:91]

He/Yu'suf said, "Today [and henceforth] there is no disgruntlement/animadversion upon you, [We must remember these words while reading concocted stories by unfair writers who even today portray them in quiet bad colours forgetting that they are our honourable Muslim forefathers.]

Allah will overlook/forgive for you people

[Same pronouncement in same words in 12:64]o

and He is the most merciful of the merciful. [12:92]

You go back with my shirt, this one, then on reaching place it on the face of my father, he will regain vision.

o

And you people come to me with your families, all collectively". [12:93]
