And when they entered from where their father had advised them

and he could not avail against for them nothing of any thing which is from Allah except that it was merely mordacity in the self of Ya'qoob which he carried out.

And indeed he was certainly the possessor of certain knowledge that which We had taught him,

[Same pronouncement in same words in 7:187;12:21,40,68;16:38;30:06,30;34:28,36;40:57;45:26]o

but  most of the people do not know/intend to understand this fact [about him]. [12:68]

And when they entered upon Yu'suf he betook his brother towards his chamber/office.

o

He told him, "Indeed me, I am your brother, therefore/for reason, you should not feel sorry for what they used to do". [12:69]

Eventually when he/Yu'suf had got ready/uploaded their merchandise [food grains on camels]

he/Yu'suf placed the drink filled flask [-feminine] in the saddlebag of his [younger] brother [so that he may enjoy the drink during journey; this would not have caused any doubt for his elder brothers thinking it a gesture of hospitality for his first visit].

Afterwards/lapse of time [the caravan had left] one caller loudly called from their behind

o

"O you the caravan listen, indeed you are certainly thieves" [12:70]

They [on accusation they attended that someone is calling them from behind], while they had returned upon them/officials of depot face to face, said to them

o

"What is that you people have misplaced?" [12:71]

They/servants-officials of the government's supply depot said, "We have misplaced the Official/King's Measuring scale [-masculine]"

[being apologetic for inconvenience caused, the Chief Custodian Yu'suf said] "And for the one, who brings that [-masculine], is one camel load gift

o

and I am for this responsible/guarantor/undertaker" [12:72]

[In annoyance of called back coupled with accusation by a petty official they ignored the request to try to find in their loads the misplaced Measure] They said, "By Allah, indeed you people have since come to know that we have not come here so that we foully jest in the land

o

and nor are we the thieves" [12:73] [at this place none had alleged them thieves, but they referred to the call of caller on their way back to home]

[their irritated reply placed the depot officials in an awkward position before their big boss whom they seem to have reported having inadvertently left the Measure in their loads as is evident from their reaction] They said to them, "For reason [subtly referring us as foully jesters and liars] then what will be the wager/recompense [against one camel load offered to you for searching that in your loads] if you are found liars [instead of us]" [12:74]

They replied, "The wager/recompense for it is, in whose saddlebag that  [-masculine] is found then he is the wager/recompense for that.

o

This is how we pay back the evil doers/creators of imbalances" [12:75]

Sequel to squally  [the exchange of heated accusations of lying between caravan/his brothers and his officials] he/Yu'suf personally started checking with their [step brothers] saddlebags before the saddlebag of his brother [but did not find in any].

Afterwards, [having finished to locate ] he reflexively brought out "her"[-feminine] from the saddlebag of his brother.

[Before his act perplexes the mind of listener why he took out the self placed flask let it be clarified] This is how We provided an excuse for Yu'suf [to retain his real brother]

It was not possible for him that he may take/retain his brother in the law of the King except that Allah willed otherwise.

[Same pronouncement in same words 6:83]

We elevate the ranks for whom We so will.

o

And over each and every one endowed with knowledge is the intrinsically knower/All-Knowing. [12:76]

[On this act of Yu'suf the officials have kept mum since they have been found wrong in their opinion of having left the Measure in their saddlebags for which they called them back and he personally had also nothing to say. Seeingwhich also did not belong to them, disassociating themselves from him] They said, "If he steals so had stolen before him the one who is brother for him"

For reason Yu'suf kept it secret to his self [that he is his brother] and he did not reveal it for them.

He said to them, "You have taken a bad stance/position,

o

and Allah knows well what you people are conjecturing". [12:77]

[Note here how naive and mindless were his brothers that they are still not noticing that neither anyone is alleging theft nor are they buying their theft story] They said, "O you the Aziz, Indeed he has a very aged father, therefore, take one of us in his place [as wager/recompense what we had agreed]

[Same pronouncement in same words in 12:36]

We observe you from amongst proportionately balanced generous men" [12:78]

He said, "Allah forbid that we may take except the one with whom we found our utensil, the moment we do that we will certainly be with evil doers/creators of imbalances [as per your own version-verdict-12:75]" [12:79]
