-
Aleph: a letter; Laam: a Consonant with prolongation sign/glyph; Ra: a Consonant conjoined with preceding
consonant.
-
These are the
Aa'ya'at: Unitary Verbal Passages of the Book characteristically
Explicit: conveyor of information in
succinct, individuated, distinct and crystallized manner. [12:01]
-
It is a fact,
Our Majesty has caused it compactly
reach you in the form of a compiled book named Qur'aan
having characteristic
feature of text transcription in Arabic: a
perspicuous, eloquent, distinctive
and precisely expressive language;
the language of the sons of soil of Arabian Peninsula.
-
The consideration for its
compiled communication in Arabic is that you people might conveniently save it in
memory, thoughtfully analyze the information differentiating fact
from conjecture and reflect. [12:02]

-
Now We
verbally narrate to you the Messenger
[Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] event by event
the finest episode which We had
conveyed to you in this Qur'aan [in writing earlier]
-
And it is a
fact that you the Messenger
[Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam]
were one of those who were un-aware of it in
times period before
this Qur'aan.
[12:03]

-
One day
when Yu'suf [alai'his'slaam]
said to his father: "O my father! It is a fact that I watched
eleven planets, and the Sun
and the Moon.
-
Father! I observed them
as
reverent coming nearer and paying obeisance for me." [12:04]

-
His father advised him, "O my
dear son! mind it you should not narrate your dream to your brothers, for the
reason that in sequel they might conspire a plot against you
[by whispers of jealousy].
-
It is a fact that Shai'taan is
a contentious, antagonistic enemy for human beings. [12:05]
-
And like this
observation, your
Sustainer Lord will choose you.
-
Know it; He the Exalted will make you
learn deducting the final
outcome-logical conclusive interpretation of the
happenings, statements-dreams;
-
And will complete His
blessing upon you and the family/followers of Ya'qoob [alai'his'slaam]
like He had
completed upon your two forefathers [grand
father and grand grand father]
Iebra'heim [alai'his'slaam]
and Ies'hauq [alai'his'slaam]
-
Indeed your Sustainer Lord is
the Fountain and Setter of knowledge-science of
visible and invisible domains; and the Infinitely Just Supreme
Administrator of the created realms."
[12:06]

-
It is a fact that
pearls-signs of wisdom are embedded in the affair between Yu'suf
[alai'his'slaam]
and
his brothers, reminisce for the seekers of lessons from history.
[12:07]
-
When they
discussed amongst
themselves: "It is obvious fact that Yu'suf and his mother-born brother are more beloved
and nearer for our father than us despite we being a force;
[deserving more attention and position]
-
It is obvious
that our father is
certainly forgetful/negligent of this fact.
[12:08]
-
You kill Yu'suf or
carry him to some other land/city;
-
The attention of your father
will become exclusively focused for you
people;
-
And you people would afterwards
live as righteous people." [12:09]
-
A participant of
discussion less emotional amongst them said;
"you should not kill Yu'suf and instead lower him into the
bottom of the ditch/channel.
-
Some of the passing by
caravan will pick him up, if you people intend to act."
[12:10]

-
They said, "O our father!
What is the reluctance for you that you trust not upon us regarding Yu'suf while we are certainly the well wishers
for him? [12:11]
-
You send him [Yu'suf
alai'his'slaam]
] with us tomorrow
that he should enjoy eating and drinking in greenery and playing,
whereat we will
certainly be taking care guarding him.".[12:12]
-
He replied, "Indeed
it surely saddens me that you people might go along with him,
and I fear that the wolf
might eat him while you are negligent/unmindful of him."
[12:13]
-
They argued, "Indeed if the
wolf eats him while we as a group are there, then indeed in that case we
are certainly the losers." [12:14]
-
Sequel to father's
permission when they went taking him along and unanimously agreed to put him in the bottom of the ditch/dug channel;
-
While they were doing
this We communicated to Yu'suf: "Certainly you will one day remind them about
this act of theirs while they will have no thought of it."
[12:15]

-
Afterwards
they came back at early
night
to their father; they were weeping. [12:16]
-
They said, "O our father,
indeed we went away in competition racing towards finish line;
-
While we had left Yu'suf
near our possessions. Thereat in our absence the wolf ate him.
-
In this
situation you will certainly not be
believing us notwithstanding we are truthful." [12:17]
-
And they produced his shirt
having stains of artificial blood upon it.
-
He said: "No, that is not the
truth, in fact your inner-selves have instigated the matter for you.
-
Thereat, the
hopefulness-steadfastness lies in dignified perseverance;
-
And Allah the Exalted is the
Resort for what you people are conjecturing." [12:18]
