Has come to you the information/statement about that which is the Overwhelming? [88:01]
[Read with
75:24] That Day some faces will be utterly depressed and withered; [88:02]
behaving as exhausted ones; [88:03]
they will enter in the scorching/roasting heat/radiation of ignited fire; [88:04]
they will be given to drink from a gurgling hot spring. [88:05] For them there will be no food except from a thorny plant of little nutritious value, [88:06]
neither it causes nourishment nor avails to satisfy hunger [necessitating repetitive intake like regurgitating of some mammals]. [88:07]
That Day some faces will be joyfully satisfied [88:08]
as acknowledgers of appreciation and approval for their effort; [88:09]

Therein is fountain flowing. [88:12]
Therein are seating thrones raised high; [88:13]
And goblets placed ready; [88:14]
And cushions lined up; [88:15]
and fine carpets spread out [for party-gathering of friends]. [88:16]
Do they not look upon the Camel as to how are they created; [88:17]
and towards the Sky, as to how it is raised high; [88:18]
and towards the Mountain as to how they are fixed firm; [88:19]
and towards the Earth as to how it is spread. [88:20]
Therefore, you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] advise-narrate it because you are only the Admonisher/Revivalist. [88:21] You have certainly not been upon them a controller and guard; [88:22]
but whoever turned away from your admonition and refused to accept [88:23]
thereat/in consequence Allah will punish him with the severe infliction. [88:24]
Indeed towards Us is their return; [88:25]
afterwards indeed it is upon Us is their accountability. [88:26]
