• Further, recall the past when Our Majesty had obtained the Covenant of the Posterity of Iesraa'eel, prescribing the following imperatives—

 اور تاریخ سے آگاہ ہو جاؤ؛ جب ہم جناب نے بنی اسرائیل کے میثاق میں ان نکات کو طے کیا تھا:

  • "You people will not submit in subservience-allegiance to anyone except exclusively to Allah the Exalted —

 ”تم اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا کسی کی بندگی/غلامی نہیں کرو گے۔

  • And that you will conduct politely and kindly with parents —

اور والدین  کے ساتھ اچھا برتاؤ کرو گے،ہر لحاظ سے حسن سلوک کے انداز میں۔

  • And with kindred-clan-relationship of affinity; and father-orphans and those in need-destitute—

اور ایسا ہی حسن سلوک قریبی رشتے داروں، یتیموں اور مسکینوں سے روا رکھو گے۔

  • And that you people must say for the people that which is just-fair-truth —

 اور لوگوں کیلئے وہ قول کہو جو متناسب،واضح مفہوم کا حامل اورمبنی بر حقیقت ہے۔

  • Moreover, you people maintain Institution of As-sa'laat: Time Bound Protocol of Servitude and allegiance  —

اور استقلال و استقامت ؍منظم طریقے سے تم لوگ صلوٰۃ کی ادا ئیگی کرتے رہو۔

اور معاشرے کے نطم و نسق اور معاشی اٹھان کے لئے مالی تعاون ؍ زکوۃ کی ادائیگی کرتے رہو‘‘۔

  • Afterwards, you people, except a few of you, turned back by design —

اس میثاق کی معاشرے میں توثیق کے بعد ازاں سوائے تمہارے میں سے ایک مختصر گروہ کے تم لوگوں نے اس سے بے رخی اختیار کی ۔
