O you the embodiment of Haya and Carefulness-Ever mindful and vigilant; You the one who conceals/wraps while asleep under the cloak/unsown cloth/sheet; [74:01] You Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] rise up and thereby get ready to warn people, regarding this: [74:02] "And remember that since your Sustainer Lord is the Sublime Great, therefore, you praise/pronounce His Greatness emphatically. [74:03]
And if your clothing has become unclean/impure then/for that reason you wash/purify your clothes, i.e. what is repulsive [odd adhesive stain], for that reason you remove/distance/wash away it; And you should not confer benefit/favour upon someone with conscious consideration and purpose of self gain/reproaching". [Warn people] And for the sake of your Sustainer Lord [on refusal of people and irrational response] you Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] remain coolly perseverant. [74:07]
Thereat [in pursuance of Allah's command/will] when the sound/Big Bang is blown in the trumpet, [74:08] for which reason/in consequence that particular Day is the Difficult Day [74:09] [Same information in
25:26] upon those, who deliberately and persistently denied, it will be the opposite of ease. [74:10]
You,
No more; he has certainly persistently been opposing Our Aa'ya'at [verbal presentation of information, facts and knowledge in the Qur'aan]. [74:16] Soon I will cause distress regularly overtakes him. [74:17] Certainly he considered/pondered [over the aa'ya'at you told him] and made his own assessment [negatively]. [74:18] For this woe/curse [in this worldly life] to him how he assessed; [74:19] Thereafter woe/curse [in the life Hereafter] to him how he assessed; [74:20] Afterwards, he looked/saw; [a blind man came to him] [74:21] [Update of this episode, read

whereupon having seen that, he scowled/contracted/wrinkled his face with feel of disgust and he became hasty/impetuous; [74:22] thereafter he turned his face away and he demonstrated arrogance obsessed by feel of pride of grandeur and superiority [74:23] and replied "This [Qur'aan you recited to me] is an old gossip/lie kept repeated in time and space; [74:24] and it/Qur'aan is nothing but merely the word of a man".
