And We have not created the Sky and the Earth and that which  is in between the two of them purposelessly and vainly.

Such is the conjecture/unproved theorem of those who refused [in time and space the revealed Book]

For reason/thereby woe/regret is for those people who persistently refused to accept/believe in Hell-Prison. [38:27]

Should We declare and treat those who believed and performed appropriate and balanced acts like those who create distortions/impropriety/disturbance/spread conjectures in the Earth/society;

o

or should We declare and treat those who endeavor remaining cautious, heedful and mindful avoiding unrestrained conduct in reverence and fear of Allah equal and like those who are prominently wicked? [38:28]

The Book, We have sent it to you, the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam]. This has the peculiar characteristic of permanence and perpetuation-to stay forever.

The purpose and objective is that the people may pursue/critically examine/link/study its Aa'ya'at-verbal passages mirroring established realities and facts; and so that the men of wisdom who look into matters and conduct objectively without overlapping it with emotions/prejudices/biases/whims/caprices may remember and orate to others. [38:29]

And We bestowed for Dawood [alai'his'slaam] Sulie'maan [alai'his'slaam]

What a remarkable sincere servant was he;

indeed he was ever mindful/heedfully returning [to Allah]; [38:30]

when at evening were presented before him the excellent bred steed; [38:31]

thereat he said to servants, "I have preferred the love of the best from the remembrance and mention of my Sustainer Lord until it has become evident with the veil-night is darkened, [38:32]

 

he commanded "at that time you people bring them back to me". Thereat he lovingly started massaging on thighs and the necks.  [38:33]

  • Know the fact that We had indeed subjected Sulie'maan [alai'his'slaam] to an irking experience.

  • We had caused placing a dummy upon his Seat.

  • Afterwards having reflected he had turned to us, praying;

  • "O my Sustainer Lord, I request you the Exalted to overlook for my slackening in time management.

  • And unlike dummy-monotonous kingdoms, you the Exalted grant me such kingship which might not be possible for a single one after me to acquire it.

  • Undeniably, You the Exalted are certainly the Benefactor-the One Who bestows". [38:34-35]

[Accepting his prayer] In response We subjected for him the particular breeze [grain producer 21:81]

 it moved/blew under his command [towards their land-21:81]

o

gently from the direction/place wherever he had found it. [38:36]

And We subjugated for him the Shaiyateen [convicted prisoner criminals from Jinn species] all builders and divers; [38:37]

and these last ones [of his hosts] were bound in chains [prisoners]. [38:38]

"This is Our gift to you, therefore, whether you oblige others or you hold it to yourself; without there being accountability" [38:39]

And certainly for him with Us is near access and par excellence abode of return. [38:40]
