Asteroids
meanings "star like, star shaped"
It is proclaimed in Grand Qur’ān:
It was in 1801 that an object was
discovered in the
sky which was named Asteroid.
Space.com states:
Discovery & naming
In 1801, while making a star map, Italian priest and
astronomer Giuseppe Piazzi accidentally
discovered the
first and largest asteroid, Ceres,
orbiting between Mars and Jupiter. Although Ceres is classified today as
a dwarf planet, it accounts for a quarter of all the mass of all the
known asteroids in or near the main asteroid belt.
Over the first half of the 19th century, several
asteroids were discovered and classified as planets. William Herschel
coined the phrase
"asteroid" in
1802, but other scientists referred to the newfound objects as minor
planets. By 1851, there were 15 new asteroids, and the naming process
shifted to include numbers, with Ceres being designated as (1) Ceres.
Today, Ceres shares dual designation as both an asteroid and a dwarf
planet, while the rest remain asteroids. |

The fact that nothing relevant to Human being is
neglected mentioning in Qur'aan and the promise that realities in the
horizons of the universe will be shown to certain human beings entails
mention of "Asteroids" in the Book.
In addition to mentioning presence of Planets and Comets
that adorned the Sky of the Lowly World, yet another object
inserted
therein is mentioned:
: Noun: Indefinite; broken plural; feminine;
accusative.
The pioneer English translators George Sale and John Rodwell had
translated this word:
George Sale :
We have placed the
twelve signs
in the heaven, and have set them out in various figures, for the
observation of spectators.
John Medows Rodwell
:
We have set the
signs of the zodiac
in the Heavens, and adorned and decked them forth for the beholders, |
Most of later translators followed them and some rendered it as
"constellations"; "mansions of the stars."
The Sky of the Near-Earth has nothing to do with
the constellations; in astronomy, any of imagined 88 groupings of bright
stars that appear on the celestial sphere. Sky of Earth does not have
بنجوم
stars)
It stems from
Root:
ب ر ج.
Ibn Faris [died-1005] stated:
That firstly it signifies projection, display and from it
is the spaciousness of
eyes with glistening black and white part
- beauty of the eyes; and exposure of her finery and beauties by woman.
And secondly it signifies shelter, refuge. Its origin is
fortification
and castle.

Lexicon:
It (anything) was, or became, apparent, manifest,
or conspicuous, and high, or elevated: whence
بُرْجٌ, applied to a certain kind of
structure or
tower. |
It may be noted that in both the sentences verb:
"He created" is NOT used for
. Instead verb:
"He inserted" is the choice. It is doubly transitive verb signifying
inserting - rendering something as something. In both the places first object of
verb is elided. He the Exalted inserted some object - structure within the Sky
as:
.
Its meanings are rendered explicit at the very first place of
use of this word:
It is thus evident that:
signifies places for staying guarded and not zodiac signs, mansions of
stars or constellations. Thereby, any object in the Sky referred by:
should have the features that are the semantic components of its Root.
Asteroids have these features, first discovered in particular. They
appeared to be points of light like stars.
The mention of the three celestial objects, Planets, Comets and
Asteroids share same collocate, which is the security and protection of
the near-Earth Sky:
Similar information collocates with Comets:
-
Thereby, applying of stretching in

Comets are itself used as hurled stones for driving and
expelling them away:
Some evil members of the Species Jinn termed as
Shai'teen - Satan rise high in the
Skies to clandestinely listen the talks of exalted Angels for obtaining
some advance information about future events. They are hurled from every
side to make them run away. However, if someone picked up some
expression, he is chased by glistened fireball.
The fact of having rendered the
near-World Sky protected is not mentioned along with:
.
But it is indicated by quoting the statement of a group of
Species Jinn who used these objects for sitting to listen the talks in
the Sky:
Earlier we have seen that:
are secure places for sitting which is shared by word:
Noun of place: Indefinite; broken plural; feminine; accusative.
Its Root is
"ق
ع د" which
signifies sitting for some length of time; places of sitting, strategic
points for stationing the troops in a war:
The summary of the
information is that the sky of earth has:
بُرٌوجًا
denoting towers built on the boundary wall of palaces for the
stationing/sitting of guards which implies the smallness of their
structure but in number larger. And it is told that to keep the Devils
satins away from listening to the "Exalted Chiefs" they are
hurled to frighten and expel them away. However if someone
succeeds in listening few words clandestinely a fireball with streak of
light chases/follows him. It may be noted that all the three things:
بُرٌوجًا
, يُقذَفُونَ
and
are distinct from each other. And the only interest of the Devils
is to get/listen some information from the Grand Chief's talks. The point
to find out is regarding from where and how they are hurled and
what is:

,
a fireball hurled in a piercing manner with bright streak of light.
