Ibn Faris [died-1005] stated:

 ابتداء الشيء وصنعُه لا عَنْ مِثال

That its meanings is originating and figuring out a thing that has no precedence.

It thus denotes initiation of a process and includes its accomplishment for the first time with no earlier precedence.

  • He the Exalted is the Primal Originator and Accomplisher of the Skies and the Earth.

  • Be informed, Provided He the Exalted has finalized-decided-completed any matter-thing, individual event, thereat:

  • He the Exalted merely expresses verbally for that thing-matter-affair-person, saying; "You become in evident-tangibly existing state".

  • Resultantly, that [abstract but effected] thing-matter-affair-person gets physical execution-appearance-tangibly existing state which can be known-cognizable by others.  [2:117]

  • You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] pronounce: "I am not a novelty nor presenter of a novel theme as being one of the Messengers;

  • Neither I am pursuing-prognosticating about what would happen with me, nor regarding that which would happen to you people;

  • I am but diligently pursuing in letter and spirit what is communicated to me: Grand Qur'aan.

  • And I am but an Awakener, Revivalist, Admonisher, Warner making for people things manifest, distinct, and crystal clear." [46:09]

  • Afterwards We sent Messengers one after the other in succession on their pattern,

  • And We succeeded them with Easa [alai'his'slaam] son of Maryam and We gave him In'jeel;

  • And We placed compassion and mercy in the hearts of those who physically followed him.

  • However, monasticism was innovated novelty of their own inclination. We had not prescribed it for them; their purpose was but to seek and pursue for the appreciation and approval of Allah the Exalted.

  • Thereat they could not observe it as was the due right of its observance.

  • Resultantly We gave to those of them their reward who have accepted and believed;

  • And most of them are "fasiqoona"/the promise breakers and transgressors/who go out of the prescribed bounds". [57:27]
