     Beginning is with Allah's personal name Ar'Reh'maan Who is The Fountain of Infinite Mercy           [Note] It should be remembered that it is not the written text/part/Ayah of سُورة  [Chapter 49] and hence it is never numbered. For convenience of those readers who are already believers, this is traditionally printed since it is commanded in the Qur'aan to read/recite with the Name of Sustainer Lord, The Creator.

O you who declare to have accepted!

You people should never indulge in overstepping the word of Allah and His Messenger.

 and you people consciously incline yourselves to remain mindful, cautious avoiding unrestrained conduct in reverence and fear of Allah,

[Same information in same words in 2:181;8:17]

 indeed Allah is eternally The Listener, The Knowledgeable. [49:01]

O you who declare to have accepted!

You people must not raise your voices over and above the voice of the Elevated, Distinct and Chosen Revivalist [Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam],

and you people should never for him be loud in speech/address like that manner some of you people talk loudly with others

lest your deeds become worthless

[Same information in same words in 39:55]

while you people are not even aware to perceive it. [49:02] [Read with 4:64]

Indeed those people who humble/lower their voices in the presence/grace of the Messenger of Allah

they are those whose hearts Allah at His own has examined and found them sincere/deserving for the Righteousness, [the litmus test whether or not a person is Righteous is whether or not he demonstrates reverence, respect and distinct honour for the Messenger Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam]

[Same pronouncement in same words in 5:09]

for them is the protection/forgiveness and splendid reward. [49:03]

Indeed those who make themselves intensively call you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] from besides the private chambers

most of them do not apply intellect to discern/distinguish. [49:04]

And had they exercised patience until you had come out to them indeed that conduct would have been better for them;

[same words in 2:218; 3:31,129;4:25;5:74;8:70;9:27, 91;24:22;57:28;60:07;66:01]

 and Allah is The Forgiving/Overlooking, The Merciful. [49:05]

O you who declare to have accepted!

if a person, who enjoys the reputation of a distorter and exceeding norms of the society, has come to you people with a news, thereat/for reason you should verify/investigate its authenticity lest you may cause harm to a people under influence of outburst of passion/emotion;

thereat [on knowing the reality] you may become regretfully ashamed on that which you did reactively. [49:06]

and you people should know/be informed that amongst/within you people is present the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] of Allah.

If he were to accept your words in many of the matters certainly it would have caused you difficulty

but Allah has endeared for you people the Belief and He has made it alluring in your hearts

and He has made it abominable for you people the Disbelief, and the unrestrained conduct and the transgression/defiance to accept the word [of the Book/Grand Qur'aan].

They are the people who are orthotropous/dextral/righteous/veracious. [49:07]

This is the Bounty from Allah and as a blessing.

[Same pronouncement in same words in  4:26 8:71;9:15,60,97,106,110;22:52;24:18,58,59;60:10]

And Allah is Ever All-Knower, All-Wise, Knower of invisible/hidden realities/considerations. [49:08]

And if two groups from amongst the Believers have mutually engaged themselves in fight, thereat, you people intervene to cause peace between them.

Consequently if a group of two of them oppressed against the other then you cause yourselves to fight against the group which is oppressor.

Consequently if they returned thereat you people strike equation/corrective measures amongst them with justice while upholding principle of equity.

[Same pronouncement in same words in 5:42;60:08]

Indeed Allah approves and appreciates [for nearness] those who conduct justly and equitably. [49:09]

Indeed the believers are only brothers therefore you strike equation and harmony amongst your brothers;

and you people consciously incline yourselves to remain mindful, cautious avoiding unrestrained conduct in reverence and fear of Allah,

[Same pronouncement in same words in 3:132;6:155;7:63;7:204;24:56;27:46;36:45]

 so that you people are dealt/subjected with mercy. [49:10]

O you who declare to have accepted!

No group of people should indulge in mocking/ridiculing another people, it is possible that they may be better than them;

and nor group of women should indulge mocking/ridiculing other women, it is possible that they may be better than them;

and you people should not slander against each other and nor make yourselves habitual in calling others with nicknames [of negative import],

the act of calling by the name having characteristic of defiant import, after the Belief, is wretched.

And whoever has not yet remorsefully left this habit and returned

[Same verdict in same words in 2:229;3:94;5:45;9:23;60:09]

for this reason they are the people who are evil-doers/distorters/creators of imbalances/ disorders/over stepping. [49:11]

O you who declare to have accepted!

you people consciously incline yourselves to effort avoid most from amongst the presumptions and assumptions, since indeed some of the presumptions and assumptions are dilapidating sin.

And some of you people should not engage yourselves to be intensively inquisitive about some others nor you should consciously and purposely ill-talk against some others [believing brothers].

Would anyone of you people like to say that he may eat the flesh of his dead brother whereat you people would have hated him?

 and you people consciously incline yourselves to remain mindful, cautious avoiding unrestrained conduct in reverence and fear of Allah,

[Same information in 24:10]

It is a fact that Allah is sympathetically oft Relenting, the Merciful. [49:12]

O you the living people!

Indeed We have created you people [living humanity] from a male and a female

and We have appointed for you people nationalities and tribes for the purpose of mutual cognition;

[Read with 49:02]

[that/aforsaid cognition is not sign of superiority and preference] Indeed the relatively more honoured and notable amongst you people, in the judgment/in nearness of Allah, the Exalted is the one who is relatively more Righteous amongst you.

[Same pronouncement in 31:34; similar in 4:35]

Indeed Allah is Eternally The Knowledgeable and Aware of what is secreted and manifest. [49:13]

The Foreign Settlers in Arabia said, "We have believed".

You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] correct/tell them, "You people have not yet made yourselves believe; but you should say, "We have practically adopted Islam";

since the Belief has not yet entered in the hearts of them;

"and if you people may cause yourselves to affectionately and wholeheartedly accept the word of Allah and His Messenger,

He will not deprive you of anything from the deeds/acts [of Islam] performed by you people,

[Same information in same words in 2:173,182,199;5:39;8:69;9:05,99,102;24:62;60:12,73:20]

indeed Allah is repeatedly Forgiving/Overlooking and the Merciful" [49:14]

Indeed the true Believers are only those who accepted/believed in Allah and the Messenger [Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] of Him

and afterwards/thereafter in the time span they never admixed/entered into perplexity,

[Same information in same words 8:72; Injunction for it in 9:41]

and they exerted utmost with their wealth and their persons/physically in the Cause/Path of Allah;

they are the people who are truly the Truthful. [49:15] [Read in conjunction 6:82]

You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] ask, "Do you people intend to make known to Allah about your Code and Procedure of Conduct

[Similar pronouncement in 5:97;58:07]

while indeed Allah knows whoever/whatever is in the Skies and whoever/whatever is in the Earth.

[Same pronouncement  in 4:176;24:35,64;64:11]

and Allah is eternally the Knower of each and everything". [49:16]

They consider it to have put an obliging favour upon you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] that they have submitted to the Prescribed Code and Conduct-Islam.

You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] pronounce, "Do not consider your submission/ acceptance of Islam an obliging favour upon me;

no, it is not an obliging gesture upon me, rather Allah does obliging favour to you people that He lead you for Belief [by sending the Messenger and Qur'aan]

if you people are truthful in your proclamation of belief". [49:17]

Certainly Allah is the All-Knower of what is invisible/non perceivable for the creatures in the Skies and the Earth;

And Allah is witnessing what acts you people do/are doing. [49:18]
