And You, the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] quote/surface the contrast of two persons to one of whom We had provided two gardens of grapevine,

o

and We had bordered/surrounded both two gardens of grapevine with date palms; and in between both the two We placed cultivated grain-crop fields. [18:32]

Each of the two gardens brought forth its produce and nothing wrong happened to it/produce. And We caused to gush forth between the two gardens a stream. [18:33]

And was for him the fruit, for reason [puffed with pride] he said for [to] his companion and/while he was discussing with him, "I am in abundance than you in wealth and I am more dominant in number of men [sons]". [18:34]

And he entered his garden while he was unjust/deluded [frame of mind] for his self; he said, "I do not think that this garden will ever perish. [18:35]

And nor I consider that the Last Moment will occur.

o

And even if I am taken towards my Sustainer Lord surely I will find better than this garden a place of return" [18:36]

Said for [to] him his companion while he was moving and discussing with him;

o

"Have you denied the One Who had created you from clay. Afterwards from part of a sperm. Afterwards, He proportioned/preened you as a man?" [18:37]

But as for me He is Allah, my Sustainer Lord and I do not associate a single thing with my Sustainer Lord. [18:38]

And why did not you say when you entered into your garden, "What Allah willed/desired. There is no power except with Allah?

o

If you see me that I am lesser than you wealth wise and in number of sons, [18:39]

then may be that my Sustainer Lord gives me better than your garden

o

and He may send on it/your garden hail storm from the Sky with the result that it may become muddy ground. [18:40]

[Read with 67:30]

Or its water becomes sunken beneath with the result that you may never have the capability for finding it". [18:41]

And his fruit was surrounded, thereby he became distressed/emerged twisting/rubbing his both hands upon what he had invested in it;

and that was devastated on its trellises.

o

And he said [self talking], "Alas I should not have associated a single thing with my Sustainer Lord" [18:42]

And for him there was no group to help him apart from Allah and nor was he helpful. [18:43]

There in space the provision of protection is only for Allah the Absolute. He is the best to return to and the best as the finality. [18:44]
