Root: ف ر د س
Words from this Root in the Grand Qur'aan:
a) Total occurrences: 2
b) No of constructions: 2
The perception infolded in the Root is quite
reflective from some of the words made from it, mentioned in most of the
Classical and other Lexicons which denote "to fill or stuff compactly;
width, amplitude;
a valley with various sorts of plants; a man big-broad in the bones; to
serve the guests with sumptuous food".
All these words are of pure Arabic origin. Grand Qur'aan defines its
perception and meaning with relational words:
-
The fact about people who willingly accepted-believed and
performed moderate righteous deeds;
[as directed in the Book,
they will reside in Paradise];
-
The Gardens of
abundant plantation and amplitude have been prepared for them, a
sumptuous mode of entertaining hospitality [from their Sustainer Lord]; [18:107]
-
They will be permanent
residents therein. They will never seek change of surroundings other than it.
[18:108]
-
They are the people who are the
inheritors; [of place of their first father and mother] [23:10]
-
Who inherit the Paradise
[that was lost temporarily];
-
And they shall abide
therein permanently. [23:11]
