Battle of Bad'der

•  [their anxiety was without reason] And Allah the Exalted had indeed helped you people in battlefield of Badder while at that time and place you were weaker as compared to this occasion.

• Therefore, you people remain mindful and self cautious to avoid unrestrained conduct in reverence and retain trust in the guarding protection of Allah the Exalted.

• The help in your weaker circumstances was that you might acknowledge and express gratitude.  [3:123]

•  When you the Messenger were saying for the believers: "Would it not be sufficing for you that your Sustainer Lord might strengthen-stretch you with three thousand out of the force of Angels; they are already the landed ones." [3:124]

• Surely, rather if you remain coolly perseverant and retain fear and hopeful trust in Allah the Exalted; and should they suddenly attack you here with full force:

• Your Sustainer Lord will help you through five thousand Angels who identify and recognize by marks. [3:125]

• Its example was seen in departing you out of your house by your Sustainer Lord for rightfully ordained purpose:

• While a group amongst the claimants of belief was certainly averse to move out. [8:05]

• They were wrangling-arguing with you in the matter of established fact after it had become self manifest.

• They were wrangling as if they were being driven towards the certain death; they were so certain as if they were watching it as happening. [8:06]

• Recall when Allah the Exalted was promising to you people one of the two enemy parties to be dominant upon.

• But you people were wishing that the people other than possessor of arms-warrior group be for your dominance [without war since most disliked war-2:216].

• On the other hand Allah the Exalted was intending that He might establish the fact as proven truth manifested by His words/promises;

• And He the Exalted might cut the back-strength of the non-believers; [8:07]

• The plan was that He the Exalted may firmly establish the justified rule and efface the falsification/conjectural myths, unjustified assault of the infidels;

• Notwithstanding how aversive it was felt by the criminals. [8:08]

• Recall when you people were seeking help from your Sustainer Lord;

• Thereby, He the Exalted responded for you: "I will certainly help you reinforcing with one thousand Angels as followers of earlier ones [five thousand -3:125]  [8:10]

• And Allah the Exalted had declared that information for no purpose except a rejoicing news for you people and for the purpose that your hearts might feel calm and tranquil by this disclosure.

• And beware that help comes from nowhere except from Allah the Exalted.

• Indeed Allah the Exalted is the All Pervasive-Dominant and eternally the Wise-Knower of invisible/secreted/infolded. [8:10]

• Recall, When He the Exalted was causing the Rapid Eye Movement sleep overtake you people for the purpose of your attaining tranquility.

• And He the Exalted was gradually pouring water from the Sky for the purposes of your cleansing with it; and that water may flush away from you the Satanic repulsive stain-adhesive;

• And the purpose of raining was that it may cause refreshing and strengthening effect upon your hearts; and He the Exalted might cause your feet to hold firmly on ground because of it; [8:11]

• Know the fact of that day; Your Sustainer Lord was communicating to the Angels: "I am indeed watching the battlefield along with you, therefore, help strengthen those who have heartily accepted-believed.

• I will keep casting terror in the hearts of those who have refused to believe:

• Therefore, for terrorizing you frequent the place above the necks;

• And frequent every one who hold position of chieftain amongst them". [8:12]

• This mete out is because they purposely alienated from Allah the Exalted and His Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam-and joined party of Shai'taan]

• Take note; whoever consciously and willfully alienates from Allah the Exalted and His Messenger: 

• Thereby, Allah the Exalted is severe in taking the matter to its logical conclusion and awarding punishment. [8:13]

• This is the upshot; therefore, it will be said: "You people taste that punishment."

• And the punishment of scorching Hell-Prison is the mete out for the denier-non believers. [8:14]

• O those/you who proclaim to have accepted-become believers, listen;

• When you in state of mobile troops have confronted in war those who have refused to believe:

• Thereat, you should not retreat turning your backs to them. [8:15]

• And if someone on the day of war turns his back from them, except as war strategy or for joining another group:

• Thereby, he has indeed made himself liable to criminal cognizance and arrest by decree of Allah the Exalted.

• And the abode of him is the Hell-Prison.

• And the Hell-Prison is the wretched destination. [8:16]

• Therefore, in view of aforementioned verdict of Our Majesty, it were not you people who killed them, but rather Allah the Exalted killed them.

• And You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] did not inflict the defeat when you had inflicted the defeat upon them; but in fact Allah the Exalted inflicted the defeat.

• And this act of inflicting defeat upon invading enemy was that He the Exalted may provide a pleasant occasion of trial for the exposure of the true believers.

• It is a fact that Allah the Exalted is eternally the Listener, the All-Knowledgeable. [8:17]

• This victory established the justified rule. And the fact remains that Allah the Exalted is the thwarter of the plans of disbelievers. [8:18]

• You people are directed to become aware: Whatever worthwhile wherewithal you people have acquired, whatever moveable and immovable asset is it, thereby; for reason of it being the grant of Allah the Exalted, a fifth: twenty percent of it is due for Allah the Exalted and the Messenger [Muhammad  Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam]: Islamic state;

• And for taking care of the near ones and the orphans, and the destitute and the wayfarers:

• This is obligatory if you people have truly believed in Allah the Exalted and in that which Our Majesty had revealed upon Our sincere allegiant [Muhammad  Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] on the vivifying-discrimination day, the day the two armies met/confronted each other [at Badder].

• And remain cognizant: Allah the Exalted has eternally the power over every thing to keep them subjugated by measure and equations. [8:41]

• That day you people were on the lower level corner and they, the approaching army of infidels of Mecca. were on the farther higher altitude corner, while the Merchant Caravan was relatively at a lower level ground than you people.

• And had you reciprocally made an appointment certainly you would have delayed-lagged behind occupying the appointed location.

• But it so happened that Allah the Exalted may accomplish the affair. His command always gets executed.

• The objective was that he who perished may perish because of apparent reason; and he who lived may survive because of apparent reason;

• Remain mindful; Allah the Exalted is eternally the Listener, the All-Knowing. [8:42]

• Recall the happenings of that occasion; When Allah the Exalted was showing them to you in the state of dreaming during Rapid Eye Movement sleep as comprising of smaller in number;

• And had He the Exalted shown them to you in great numbers: you people would certainly have lost courage, and surely you would have disputably debated the matter but instead Allah the Exalted gave you people tranquility.

• Remain mindful;  He the Exalted is absolutely aware of what is possessed inside the chests. [8:43]
