الفاء والضاد واللام أصلٌ صحيح
يدلُّ على زيادةٍ في شيء. من ذلك
الفَضْل: الزِّيادة والخير
That it leads to the perception of excessiveness,
augmentation; and denotes in relative terms blessing and benefaction.
In comparison, it signifies distinction, preference over
another in favouring with something good and advantageous.

O You the Posterity of Iesraa'eel!

Recall; the Specific Favour of
Mine. It is that One time Favour which I had bestowed upon you.

And that by this Favour
I had certainly given you distinction and preference over
others (Pharaoh's troops). [2:47]

Mūsā! You get for us an

godheadss
made for those people."

He repudiated them saying:
"Indeed you people are indulging in
emotionalism/passions. [7:138]

Realize the
essence of these statues: godheads. That
is boulder containing gold and silver dust. They are fascinatingly extracting
therein.

And it is void like
the froth that fades away what they people have been doing." [7:139]

He further said: "Do you
wish me to declare as
iela'aha: godhead
other
than Allah the Exalted wrongfully affecting you people;
-
Despite the fact that
He the Exalted has just given you people preferential treatment over
others by saving and rescuing you from
Pharaoh and his nation? [7:140]
-
Their decision that
they may reject the Book which Allah the Exalted has sent is petty and regrettable
for that
understanding-reason, for which they have traded their own selves.
-
Their decision is merely for reason of insolent
envy-jealousy that Allah the Exalted sends His Grace upon the person He
the Exalted wishes to select amongst His servants.
-
Thereby,
for this reason they have
compounded upon themselves the liability to criminal cognizance-arrest
by Allah the Exalted.
-
Be
aware that a humiliating punishment
is in wait-prepared for those who deliberately-persistently refuse to accept.
