العَوْنُ: الظَّهير على الأَمر

The basic perception infolded in the Root is to seek assistance in the desire of striking balance and equation to gain firmness and stability; a state which neither suffers from the "heat" of the youth nor weakness of aging. It is in between the two, quite stable and tranquil state of sobriety.

In almost all the English translations the words stemming from Root "ع و ن" and Root: ن ص ر are translated by word "help, aid, succor". Since Root: ن ص ر is not used we should avoid translating it by "help". While word "help" is most generic term and can refer to any sort of support, "to assist" is an help for something that someone could do themselves but because of the assistance is able to do that thing more efficiently, profitably, effectively, etc. Seeking support is to back up us in every step of the way. We can grow by receiving support and this growth should be part of the goal. We live in environment where there are enemies, Satan and satanic people, who can create hindrances in our personality growth. Therefore, we request the Almighty to persistently render the environment that supports and assists us in the process of elevating ourselves to achieve the goal.

معاون: حمایت کرنے والا، پشت پناہ، دست گیر، ساتھ دینے والا۔ہاتھ بٹانے والا، شریک کار


  • [Our Sustainer Lord Ar'Reh'maan] You the Exalted are the One and Only Whom we presently and henceforth solely and exclusively owe and demonstrate allegiance and servitude —

  •  آپ اور صرف آپ جناب ہیں جن کی بندگی ہم تسلسل سے بااظہارکرتے ہیں اور کرتے رہیں گے

 

  • Moreover, You the Exalted are exclusively the One we keep looking for rendering the environment supportive and assisting to elevate ourselves. [01:05]

  • (اور صرف آپ ہیں جن سے اپنی شخصیت کواوج ثریا پر لے جانے کیلئے اعانت کے ہم طلبگار ہیں۔


  • Moreover, you people seek assistance (from Allah the Exalted) maintaining coolly perseverance and As-sa'laat: Time Bound Protocol of Servitude and allegiance.

  • اور تم لوگ صبر اور الصَّلاَۃ ( نماز)کے ذریعے اپنی ذات میں اعتدال اور پختگی پیدا کرو۔

  • Beware, it (As-Sa'laat) is certainly burdensome upon people, except those who are the humble-minded.  [2:45]

  • (اوریقیناًوہ( الصَّلاَۃ۔نماز) لوگوں کیلئے گرانبار( شاق) ہے سوائے خاشعین ؍عاجزی اور انکساری کا رویہ رکھنے والوں کے( البقرۃ۔۴۵


  • They (elite) said; "You call upon your Sustainer Lord for us that He should distinctly explain for us as to what that intended to be sacrificed cow is?"

  • انہوں نے (موسیٰ علیہ السلام)سے کہا’’ہمارے لئے اپنے رب سے دعا کیجئے کہ وہ ہمارے لئے(یبین) واضح انداز میں متمیز کریں کہ وہ (گائے) کیسی ہو؟“

  • He (Mūsā [alai'his'slaam]) told them; "He the Exalted says that it is a cow having characteristic neither of one outliving the age, nor that of in early age. She is in the middle of these two extremities-middle aged.

  • انہوں (موسیٰ علیہ السلام) نے کہا ’’یقینا انہوں (میرے رب)نے جواب دیا ہے،وہ کہتے ہیں ”وہ ایک ایسی گائے ہے جو ادھیڑعمر اور نہ ہی بچھیاہے بلکہ اُن دو عمروں کے بین بین ہے۔“۔

  • Your query having been answered, therefore, now do that which you are being commanded" [2:68]

  • “اب جب کہ تمہارے سوال کا جواب مل گیا ہے،اس فعل کو انجام دو جس کا تمہیں حکم دیا جا رہا ہے۔


  • O those/you, who proclaim to have accepted/become believers, listen!

  • !اے وہ لوگوں جنہوں نے ایمان لانے کا اقرارو اعلان کیا ہے توجہ سے سنو

  • You people seek assistance (from Allah the Exalted) maintaining coolly perseverance and As-sa'laat: Time Bound Protocol of Servitude and allegiance.

  • اللہ تعالیٰ سے تم لوگ اپنی ذات میں اعتدال اور پختگی پیدا کرنے کے طلبگار استعانت رہو،استقامت و استقلال،ضبط و برداشت اور صلوٰۃ کے ذریعے۔

  • It is a fact that Allah the Exalted is with those who are patiently consistent and determined-coolly perseverant. [2:153]

  • یقینا اللہ تعالیٰ استقامت،استقلال،ضبط و برداشت سے حقیقت پر کاربند رہنے والوں کے ساتھ ہیں۔(البقرۃ۔۱۵۳


  • O those/you who proclaim to have accepted-become believers, listen;

  • You should not liquefy-untie-disrespect the symbolic emblems of Allah the Exalted —

  • Nor the sanctity of the sacred month —

  • Nor the offerings nor the garlanded sacrificial animals —

  • Nor those who visit the House of Sanctity seeking Grace and appreciation from their Sustainer Lord.

  • And when you are free from the pilgrimage restraints-bindings then you hunt for game.

Root: ص ى د

  • And nor let the ill feeling overpower you that you people may over step against a people for the reason that they stopped you to visit the Sacred Mosque.

Root: ش ن ء

  • And cooperate and facilitate in matters of righteousness-commodiousness-helping and accommodating people, and in endeavors for salvation —

  • But you people should not participate-collaborate in dilapidating acts-sinful activities, and digressions/injustices/excesses.

  • And sincerely endeavour to attain the protection from Allah the Exalted.

  • Indeed Allah the Exalted is severe in awarding punishment/takes the matter to its logical conclusion. [5:02]

  • متنبہ رہو؛ اللہ تعالیٰ معاملات کا سختی سے تکمیل تک پیچھا کرنے والے ہیں/مجرمین کو مبنی بر انصاف سزا دینے والے ہیں۔


  • He (Mūsā [alai'his'slaam]) issued direction for his people: "You seek assistance of Allah the Exalted remaining stable and exercise coolly perseverance.

  • Fact remains that the Earth is the property exclusive for Allah the Exalted. He allocates it to whomever of His subjects He decides.

  • Remain cognizant, the ultimate accomplishment is exclusively for those who sincerely endeavour to attain salvation." [7:128]


  • And they produced his shirt having stains of artificial blood upon it.

  • He said: "No, that is not the fact, on the contrary your minds have made the matter a relaxation for you —

  • Thereat, the hopefulness-steadfastness lies in dignified perseverance —

  • And Allah the Exalted is the Resort - Recourse for what you people are conjecturing." [12:18]


  • He (Zil-Qarnain) replied, "That state in which my Sustainer Lord has established me is much better than your offer [I will not fix toll].

  • However, you people assist me with manpower,

  • I will render a barrier between you people and between them in the manner of filling the gap. [18:95]


  • He prayed, "O my Sustainer Lord! You the Exalted do judge on the basis of absolute fact."

  • And he said to people, "Our Sustainer Lord is Ar'Reh'maan the Exalted Who is the Resort - Recourse for what you people are conjecturing."  [21:112]


  • And look those-elite ruling elders who had disavowed said to people —

  • "This (Qur’ān) is nothing but a falsity defying hitherto accepted beliefs —

  • He (Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam) has purposely compiled - authored it on his own —

  • And some other people have assisted him on his desire in that compilation."

  • -- Thereby, they have now adopted an attitude - course of impropriety-slander-distortions and blatant falsification --. [25:04]
