Ibn Faris [died 1005] stated:

غل (مقاييس اللغة)
الغين واللام أصلٌ صحيحٌ
يدلُّ على تخلل شيءٍ، وثباتِ شيء،كالشيء يُغْرَزُ.

That it leads to the perception of infiltrating, permeating something; and prance, like something implanted, struck onto, infixed.

  • And it is not possible for the Distinctly Elevated Allegiant who is embodiment of mercy for humanity that he might nurture resentment - ill-will against anyone.

  • You people note it: if someone retained resentment, Allah the Exalted will bring-resolve it out on the Day of Rising.

  • Afterwards, each of all individuals will be requited that which he had earned in worldly life.

  • And they people will not be subjected to any injustice. [3:161]


  • Know it; certain Jews said: "Allah's hand is in a tied up state."

  • Their fists have become tied.

  • And they are discarded as condemned and cursed for what they stated.

  • They lied; the fact is that His two hands are fully stretched; He the Exalted openly flows the bounty as He wills.

  • Be aware; it is certain that it (Grand Qur’ān), which has since been sent to you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] by your Sustainer Lord, will augment the majority of them in brimming out of bounds and disbelief.

  • And We have allowed to exist wrangling and grudge/hatred/resentment between them until the Day of Rising.

  • Every time they ignited-provoked fire for the war, Allah the Exalted extinguished it.

  • And they keep attempting creating disturbance/ distortions /imbalances/chaos in the Earth-world.

  • Take note; Allah the Exalted does not approve and appreciate those who are distorter/creators of disorder/imbalances/spread wicked unsound ideas. [5:64]


  • Know it; Our Majesty extracted - resolved whatever resentment - ill-will that nurtured in their hearts in worldly life against someone of them.

  • [sitting like brothers in front of each other-15:47] They will be enjoying streams flowing side-by them.

  • ۔

 

  • And they said: "Glorifying praise is for Allah the Exalted Who guided us for this achievement. And guiding ourselves aright would not have been possible had Allah the Exalted not guided us.

  • Undoubtedly the Messengers of our Sustainer Lord had come along with infallible verbal discourse."

  • And they will be addressed; this is the Paradise; you people have indeed deserved and rendered it inheritance with what you people kept doing. [الحمد لله how appreciative and encouraging remarks] [7:43]


  • They are the people who sincerely follow in action the Messenger — the Chosen and Elevated Allegiant from amongst those who were not given the Book earlier - Gentiles.

  • The peculiarity of this Messenger is that they find him mentioned in writing with them inscribed in Tor'aat and In'jeel —

  • He directs them to follow the well known norms-permanent prescribed values and forbids them from conjectural innovations-deceits-deviations —

  • And he declares for them permissible-lawful the things which are decent-beneficial and nutritious; and declares unlawful - restrained upon them the things which are junk, palavers, unpropitious —

  • And he lays off from them their prestation-burden of Covenant; And lays off the shackles of conjectural myths-widely publicized conjectural stories which were placed upon them.

  • Therefore, to honour and discharge their pledge, those who accepted-believed in him and revered him and helped him —

Root: ع ز ر

  • And they followed in letter and spirit that Visible Light: the lightener of the Path to Destination, Guarantor of the Continuity of Life (Grand Qur’ān). Its characteristic is that it was compactly sent along with him (Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam-his corporeal appearance-sending in the lowly world).

 

  • Aforementioned are the people who endeavour for perpetual success-fruitfulness. [7:157]


  • And if it appears astounding to you, it is rightly so since their statement is astonishing-unaccustomed: [to majority belief and conviction]

  • "Is it that when we would have become dust then will we certainly be in a new creation?"

  • They are the people who have disavowed their Sustainer Lord.

  • And they are the people; shackles are put in their necks [of conjectural myths fabricated by them and their earlier people]

  • And they are the people who will be the resident inmates of the scorching Hell-Prison.

  • They shall abide therein permanently. [13:05]


  • Know it, Our Majesty resolved-moved it out whatever resentment and ill-will was nurtured in their hearts in worldly life against someone of them —

  • They are sitting like brothers upon thrones in front of each other. [15:47]

  • And you should not render your hand chained towards your neck —

  • Nor should you stretch it to the whole stretch with the result that you might sit/end up objurgating and languished. [17:29]

  • And said those who were made the weak/ruled segments of society to those who demonstrated arrogance obsessed with pride of grandeur — 

  • "No the fact is that it were your deceptions day and night when you kept directing us disavowing Allah, and that we declare others as participatory lords for Him the Exalted."

  • And they tried to conceal the regret when they saw the punishment [from those upon they ruled].

  • And Our Majesty has rendered their arrogance as shackles in the necks of those who had disavowed.

  • Are they getting recompensed except for what they used to do? [as they had put shackles around their brain not to allow any revealing fact enter into brain]. [34:33]


  • Indeed Our Majesty have declared - rendered their ill-will, rancour, malevolence, malice, spite as collars in their necks—

  • Thereby, it (collars) is pressing towards chins, thereby, they are in position of heads raised in one direction. [36:08]

  • When the iron collars will be placed in their necks and tied in chains they will be dragged — [40:71]

  • Our Sustainer Lord! You are most surely full of kindness, the Most Merciful". [59:10]
