Ibn Faris [died 1005] stated:

الخاء واللام أصلٌ واحد يتقارب فروعُه، ومرجعُ ذلك إمَّا إلى دِقَّةٍ أو فُرْجة.

That it signifies to approach or approximate one another, and it refers either smallness or gap, fissure.

  • O those/you, who consciously proclaim to have become believers, listen!

  • Spend heartily some part of the sustenance which Our Majesty have bestowed upon you people before lest the day might come —

  • Neither that day friendly help would be available nor recommendation/pleading--intercession be of avail to non believers [of intercessors-2:48, 123;74:48].

  • Know the fact, those who disavowed are truly the wrong-doers/distorters/unjust. [2:254]


  • And reflect; Who could be more moderate and balanced: physical conduct wise, than him who has surrendered and harmonized his free will - face for Allah the Exalted; and he is an endeavourer of striking equilibrium-truth-virtue and avoider of spreading distortions-conjectural myths —

  • And he incessantly followed in letter and spirit the prescribed procedure of community of Iebra'heim (alai'his'slaam), [Allah's chosen Deen of Islam] Iebra'heim was ever Sincere and upright staunch monotheist believer and Muslim in conduct.

  • Be aware; Allah the Exalted has personally held Iebra'heim (alai'his'slaam) as a close friend. [4:125]

 


  • Had they come forth in you people they would not have increased strength of you people except adding disturbance —

  • Since indeed they would have been actively moving amidst you seeking for you the disquieting liquefaction/disharmony/de-concentration —

  • Since there are some amongst you who are good audience-listeners for them.

  • Be mindful, Allah the Exalted has always been fully aware of the wrong-doers-distorters.  [9:47]


  • You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] pronounce for those of My servants who proclaim having accepted and become believers:

  • That they should maintain Ass-sa'laat: Time Bound Protocol of Allegiance and Servitude —

  • And that they should spend part of the worldly resources for other's welfare out of that Our Majesty have given them —

  • They should do it privately and publicly —

  • Before that the Day might reach —

  • Peculiarity of the day is: Neither pay-later system bargain nor friendship could be struck during it. [14:31]


  • Accordingly, when the time of executing promise for first of the two occasions reached, Our Majesty appointed-raised upon you/Bani Iesraa'eel Our selected servants, men of  military might, thereby they entered the innermost of your dwellings —

  • And taking matters to logical conclusion has been the promise that stands fulfilled- accomplished. [17:05]


  • And their resolve-attempt was certainly aimed at trying you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] to get away from that (Qur’ān) which Our Majesty have verbally communicated to you. They intended that you might personally formulate something other than mentioned in it (Qur’ān), relating it to Our Majesty.

  • And the moment had you obliged them with some personal statement other than it (Qur’ān), they would have certainly admitted you heartily as an intimate friend. [17:73]


  • Or for you be gardens of date-palm and grapes thereby you gush forth streams of water there between flowing abundantly—; [17:91]


  • Each of the two gardens brought forth its produce, and nothing wrong happened to it/produce —

  • And Our Majesty caused to gush forth between the two gardens a stream — [18:33]


  • Have you not given a thought to the fact that Allah the Exalted urges a "dragging-trailing-middle" Cloud for gentle spurting-collection —

  • After lapse of time He the Exalted develops coalescence between it [masculine/positive charge cloud] —

  • At a later time, He the Exalted rendered it as a vertically layered mass —

  • Thereupon, you see the rain-drops discharging from spaces midst it.

  • Moreover, He the Exalted keeps intermittently causing descent, from the Sky some hail from within the "Mountains-feminine/negatively charged" having characteristic of containing within her hail. [part of cumulonimbus-rising like mountain clouds] —

  • Thereby, He the Exalted makes him suffer with its [masculine hail] descent whom He wills; and averts it from whom He wills.

  • The flash of lightening of it-Thunderstorm [masculine] might soon impair the visions. [24:43]


  • Woe to me, alas I had not taken such and such person as intimate friend — [25:28]


  • Or who is He Who rendered the Earth as cool and comfortable living place —

  • And rendered her midst patches as place for rivers-water reservoirs —

  • And rendered anchoring - stabilizing mountains for her (Earth) —

  • And rendered a bar - obstruction between two seas/oceans as a barrier that keeps them separate [not lets them mingle].

  • Reflect on these facts and answer: Is there any iela'aha: god head along with Allah the Exalted?

  • No, there is no iela'aha: godhead along with Allah, the fact is most of them do not acquire knowledge. [27:61]


  • Allah the Exalted is the One Who keep sending the winds [in state of uplifting aerosols-condensation nuclei resembling semen of stallion] Thereby, having reached the destination, she (Winds) causing erethism, excitement charging the atmosphere raise-originate a cloud —

  • Thereat, He the Exalted spreads-expands-extends it out or forth within the Sky in state He the Exalted so wills—

  • And He the Exalted renders it-formed Cloud as fragmented-layered aggregate.

  • Thereupon, you see the rain-drops discharging from spaces midst it.

  • Therefore, when He the Exalted at will favoured some of His subjects-human beings, they become self joyous. [30:48]   


  • That Day when they would have been resurrected, the friends will be foes for some others, except the friends of those who sincerely endeavour to attain salvation. [43:67]
