Ibn Faris [died 1005] stated:

الراء والكاف والباء أصلٌ واحد مطّرد منقاس، وهو علُوُّ شيءٍ شيئاً

  • However, if you people cannot stand at a location for reason of suspected danger: thereby performance of As-salaa't is restricted to oral remembrance and adoration of Allah the Exalted in the state of walking on foot or journeying on conveyance.

  • Thereat when you have attained calm and secure state: then remember Allah the Exalted by formal protocol as He the Exalted has made you aware which you people earlier did not know. [2:239] 


  • And He the Exalted is the One Who dropped water from the Sky —

  • Thereby, Our Majesty had germinated vegetation-herbage of entire plant kingdom by using it (water).

  • Thereby, Our Majesty discharged from it (the sprouted plant) green pigment - chlorophyll; its characteristic is that We produce-take out of it superposed seed/grain—eventual reproductive success of the plant.

  • And clusters spikes/spadices of dates are brought out from the spathe—leafy sheath bract of date-palm tree —

  • And sprouted gardens of species-family of grapes; and olives; and pomegranates —

  • Apparently they are analogous/have conforming features; but are mutually non-resembling —

  • You people watch-study its (his; tree of grapes, olives, and pomegranates) fruit when it has bore fruit, and watch its (fruit's) ripening.

  • Indeed signs indicating the existence of the Creator and Setter of sciences are obvious in the foretasted existents (plant kingdom) for the people who believe in Allah the Exalted.  [6:99]


  • That day you people were on the lower level corner and they, the approaching army of infidels of Mecca. were on the farther higher altitude corner, while the Merchant Caravan was relatively at a lower level ground than you people.

  • And had you reciprocally made an appointment certainly you would have delayed-lagged behind occupying the appointed location.

  • But it so happened that Allah the Exalted may accomplish the affair. His command always gets executed.

  • The objective was that he who perished may perish because of apparent reason; and he who lived may survive because of apparent reason;

  • Remain mindful; Allah the Exalted is eternally the Listener, the All-Knowing. [8:42]


  • And he (Noah [alai'his'slaam]) said, "You people embark in her —

  • Pronouncing: "The name of Allah the Exalted is the resort to activation for taking its course and her anchorage."

  • Indeed, my Sustainer Lord is certainly oft-Forgiving and Merciful. [11:41]


  • And she (ship-ark) started smoothly sailing with them on board in the waves like long mountains —

  • And Noah [alai'his'slaam] loudly called his son who was standing at that time in an aloof place —

  • "O my dear son! embark with us; and you should not remain with the non-believers." [11:42]


  • And He the Exalted created horses, and mules and donkeys, so that you people might use them for ride-carriage. And these mammals have become object of alluring desire.

  • And He the Exalted creates-will create that which you people know not. [16:08]


  • Thereby they two [leaving behind the servant] moved out until they had both embarked the boat and he had made a hole in it:

  • He (Mūsā [alai'his'slaam]) said, "Have you holed, perforated her (boat) so that you might drown its passengers? Apparently you have certainly done a strange thing." [18:71]


  • For reason/then when they embarked upon the ship —

  • They called upon Allah the Exalted, acting as sincere devotees-allegiant in physical conduct for Him the Exalted —

  • In response to their prayers when He the Exalted rescued them towards the land/shore at that point in time they start indulging in ascribing partners/associates — [29:65]


  • And Our Majesty have created for them that (mammal 16:8) which they ride, circumstantially like it (ship). [36:42]


  • And Our Majesty have subjugated herbivorous mammals for them, therefore, some of them are their beast of burden/travel and some from them they eat. [36:72]

  • Allah the Exalted is the One Who has rendered for you people the herbivore mammals that you may deploy some of them for riding/beast of burden —

  • And some of them you people eat. [40:79]


  • And He the All-Dominant, All-Pervasive, and the Fountain of Knowledge has created the Couplings, all of them without exception.

  • And He the Exalted has rendered that, many ships and mammals you travel with, as embarkable vehicle for you people — [43:12]


  • And that [properties] which Allah the Exalted diverted towards His Messenger [personified Islamic State] from amongst them [who left the City/were exiled] —

  • It was caused not that you people had made an expedition for that on horses and nor on camels—

  • But it is indeed for the reason that Allah the Exalted causes His Messengers to become authoritatively dominant over whom He willed.

  • Remain cognizant: Allah the Exalted has eternally the power over each and all matters to keep them subjugated by measure and equations. [59:06]


  • In what shape He the Exalted proportioned you? That which He the Exalted decided, He accordingly composited you. [82:08]


  • Certainly you people will surely rise to a layer departing from another layer. [84:19]
