perception and meanings as under:
برص
(مقاييس اللغة)
الباء والراء والصاد أصلٌ واحدٌ،
وهو أن يكون في الشيء لُمْعَةٌ تخالف سائرَ لونه، من ذلك
البرص
That its original meanings are that there exists spangle:
shining spot on an object which is other than its original colour. Its
example is vitiligo: a skin disorder in which
smooth whitish patches appear on the skin.
