Root: "ع ل ق"

Ibn Faris stated that the basic perception infolded in the Root is to join/attach a thing with an upwardly/elevated thing. Such attachment will give to the attached thing an appearance of suspended/hung thing.

The Greek word "zogotus" only reflects one fact of joining but Arabic word is far more accurate and nearest to the actual description of the joining of sperm at an elevated place with the female egg and its suspension. In medical science, perhaps we do not have a term to describe the fact of suspension.

Ibn Faris also said that it is used when love and affection attaches one with the other. Today we have the evidence that the sperm has attraction to the fluid surrounding the egg, an element of love/attraction. All the physical / scientific realities, relating both to matter and to life are prevalent in the basic perception and meanings of the Arabic Roots.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pregnancy is of two types.

 

• We will henceforth keep visually exposing Our tangible-physical realities, prevalent in the Universe and in their own bodies, to the eyes of those who do not accept the Qur'aan.

• The purpose of this visual manifestation is that the fact of Qur'aan being the Statement of Proven Fact might become self evident/manifest for them. [Refer 41:53]

 

The Grand Qur'aan has informed that Allah the Exalted will keep bringing to human visual observation, the knowledge about the universe and human body, whereby the fact that Grand Qur'aan is a Statement of Proven Fact/absolute reality might become self manifest to the people who keep denying it. Why a first time visual observation of hitherto unseen thing manifests that, the Qur'aan is a statement of proven fact? This is possible only if the same thing verbally finds mention of it in the Qur’aan. Verbal specification and visual observation are in fact two aspects/methods of identification of a tangible fact of real existence, as denoted by Arabic word . The visual observation of an earlier unseen fact by humans will manifest that Book as a Book of fact which, written earlier in time, contains its verbal presentation. This will establish that the Book really contains verbal statements of physical/scientific facts and is not conjectural, hypothetical and presumptive in its contents.

The science and knowledge of embryology was in its infancy in the seventh century when Grand Qur'aan was  gradually being revealed and the Last Messenger Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam was disclosing the hidden realities for the knowledge and study of humanity.

 Realize it that he/the Messenger Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam tells you the knowledge/information/data which hitherto you did not have [for lack of Book]. [Refer 2:151]

 

The Grand Qur'aan explicitly explained the stages and process of human creation:

Then [why don't you reflect], it is a fact that We created you from clay [initially] afterwards, We created you from part of a single sperm; afterwards from the joined/implanted/clung clot [zygote-Greek "zogotus" meaning "joined"];

Afterwards from chewed like morsel of flesh. It’s characteristic is of two types, one caused to be created and the other opposite of that caused to be created [the zygote joined with womb or at other place-Ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, that might not be created, instead scattered]. This is for the reason that We may make manifest for you [that only he gets created whom We wish to create, notwithstanding where it is located] [Refer 22:05]

 

  Its Root is "م ض غ". The basic perception infolded in the Root is that of a lump of flesh, a peace bit of flesh as sufficient for chewing, to masticate, what remains after chewing. This is that form of Embryo/stage of human which is developed after the stage of  "joined one and implanted/clung clot [zygote that has clung]" .

The adjectival description of states that it is of two types; (1) it is passive participle; singular; feminine; Verbal noun "تَخْلِيقٌ" to cause the creation. "that which is caused to be created as human being";

(2) The other, not related/unlike the first one, that " which is not let created".

Moreover, it is told that, is stationed/made to reside in the uterus, at the will and discretion of Allah, the Exalted.

and We implant/reside in the wombs whom We so will, towards a determined length of time with appointed termination moment. Afterwards [lapse of appointed duration] We discharge you as an infant. [Refer 22:05]

is the subsequent development from . This developed object may or may not in the womb, and either be the one to be created or otherwise. The stage is called pregnancy. Allah, the  Exalted, according to His promise, has also shown to our eyes this hidden fact which was orally and in writing narrated to the humanity by the Last Messenger Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam. That which is of   adjectival characteristic is today known and called as Ectopic pregnancy, literally meaning the developing into outside the uterus. "In tubal ectopic pregnancy the ovum becomes implanted in one of the fallopian tubes. This condition is not uncommon, occurring about once in 250 to 300 pregnancies and more frequently in blacks than Caucasians. It may be brought about by anything that interferes with the propulsion of the fertilized ovum from the fallopian tube toward the uterine cavity—e.g., inflammation of the fallopian tube, developmental malformation of the sacs within its canal, or kinking of the tube. If transport to the uterus is sufficiently delayed, the ovum becomes too large for easy passage and becomes imbedded in the wall of the fallopian tubule. Tubal Ectopic pregnancy in early stages is similar in some respects to normal pregnancy; implantation of the ovum in the tubal wall is much like that which occurs in the uterus. Also, as pregnancy begins to develop, placental tissue, like that of intrauterine gestation, develops. Eventually, however, the placenta removes itself from the tubal wall, and the fetus is discharged as a whole mass or in smaller fragments if it disintegrates."

And we can see with our eyes that of   type usually scatters.

Note: Living human beings are created from a single sperm. However in one "pour" the number of sperms is 250-300 million out of which about 200 make their way towards the meeting/joining point.

Certainly this Qur'aan is undoubtedly the one which is absolutely convincing statement of proven truth/absolute fact. [56:95]
