Feel of presence and the Voice of the Living behind words: the ultimate purpose of the Book
A Living is behind the words. Written Words develop a relationship between the Living behind the words and the recipient of the words. The best written words are those which enable the recipient reader not only to listen the sounds inherent in individual words and in their peculiar arrangement and assembly; but he may also feel the presence of the Living Who organized that text.
Spoken Language in the ultimate analysis is but a miscellany of meaning carrying sounds. These sounds play a role in the working of languages as an instrument for communication and thought. Sound is a longitudinal wave propagated through the air at a frequency capable of vibrating the eardrum.
Communication process is initiated by producing meaningful sounds when a person of will so desires to establish a contact with the intended recipient/audience. Man is equipped with needed instruments to propagate longitudinal sound waves through the air.

The tongue and two lips are the main articulators that produce recognizable sounds and its successive ejection propagates waves which are successively received by the auditory instrument-ears as words. However, we know that sound emerges when an object vibrates which must be in contact with the air and the air must be in contact with the listener; and that the contact between the source and listener must be continuous, without a vacuum gap. But we observe and know that the tongue and lips have no vibratory capability to produce meaningful sounds. It thus leads us to the fact that the sound was already in the mouth cavity which was articulated and ejected into the air. When sound was produced and had arrived in the mouth? Who, what process and vibrator created that sound?

:
It
is Verb:
Imperfect; third person; masculine; singular; Mood: Indicative;
[Form-V], and its doer are two:
:
Active Participle, Definite; masculine; dual; nominative;
[Form-V], "the
two Efficient Receivers/Receptors".
Form-V has reflexive causative meanings.
The subject receives back
the impact of action. It generally depicts such
actions where the subject honestly and sincerely tries to transform
himself, and performs that action diligently. It has transformative meanings, Noun-ized; make
oneself to be Noun.
The meanings of form V are simply the
meanings of form II plus the word "himself."
The Root of verb and subject is: "ل ق ى" which denotes to meet with, come across, come face to face, and to receive. These two Receptors efficiently perform the function of reception while located symmetrically, one on the right side and the other on the left side of Communicator Cord.
This being too involved and beyond my capacity of absorbing technicalities, We leave it to the experts of phonetics to locate and identify these two Efficient Receptors, one on the right side and one on the left side of the Communicator Cord-Vocal Cord who efficiently and persistently receive the thought for onward communication to others.
However, this conveys the information that the process of communication through speech initiates on thought relay, and continuous efficient reception by the "Two Receptors”, one located on the right and one on the left side of the Communicator Rope-Vocal Cord. The sequence is also evident that the reception is first by the Receptor on the Right Side of Communicator Cord. On reception of the thought the Communicator Cord becomes active and vibrates; the thought converts into sound; and eventually man throws one word out of the mouth in open air.
However, an object-Communicator Cord vibrates only on applying energy on it. This means that the "thought" intended for communication to others has built in energy that vibrates the Cord. The resultant sound by vibration depends on the nature of vibration. For sound of every consonant and syllable of a word, vibration will be different. It thus reflects that the words have built in sound or the information about the manner a cord vibrates to produce its particular sound.
Therefore,
the puzzle is why and how the process of transfer of thought
to the Efficient Receptors of Communicator Cord initiates since initiation of
a process requires energy to excite some cell to perform an
act. It is the "granted vitality: Will, intention" of the "Real but Invisible
Person-Inner-Self" who is the holder of human body-
"His Inner-Self", the driver of apparent human body.
The phenomenon of vibration of vocal cord [ حَبْلِ الْوَرِيدِ] producing sound is but natural upon which man does not exercise mechanical/ voluntary control by will. It converts the idea-thought into sound that is retrieved from memory when one intends to convey it to others However, once the sound has arrived in the mouth cavity the tongue mechanically articulates it by will and design to "vowel-ize" the sound in the manner one may like to throw-eject it out of the mouth.
The shape of the vocal tract, and the way the human tongue manipulates, grants it the capability to willfully take three extreme positions that lead to vowel sounds. These vowel sounds vary in quality according to the degree of lip aperture and the placement of the tongue within the oral cavity. When the body of the tongue is pushed forward and towards the roof of the mouth we get this vowel ـِ called كسرةٌ carrying sound like "i" in English words "leap-neat-seat'.

:
he throws a segment of an expression.
: Verb: Imperfect; third person;
singular; masculine; Mood: Indicative;
Subject pronoun hidden,
"he-the man"; مصدر-لَفْظٌ
Verbal noun. Its Root is "ل ف ظ"
and the basic perception infolded is to put out-throw out in sequence-one after
the other something collected in the mouth. Its use is also for reference to those birds
who feed their offspring through their beak. It denotes a "word" which is but a sound collected in the mouth and then
emitted in a sequence-syllable by syllable; aimed to reach to some
receptor/auditory apparatus, the ear.
The amazing fact about the Roots of Arabic is that the perception
infolded in them is reflective of physical/scientific realities
pertaining to both matter and life.
The speech, expressing a thought through the medium of language is intended for the auditory faculty of the target audience. However, its welcome reception depends upon the concerned person. Grand Qur’ān describes the characteristic feature of some people who are truly heedlessly negligent; and are more indifferent and lost in their selves than the mammals.

Not anything of the shape of an ear is an ear since it cannot facilitate the listening. Idols/statues apparently have ears but:
|
|
The sound of speech is a combination of segmental elements-syllables which in turn combine to form utterances. These follow each other in sequence. Are the ears characteristically in correspondence to acoustically handle the flow of syllables?

: Verb: Imperfect; third person;
singular; feminine; Mood: Subjunctive;
Fronted
Object Pronoun: Third person; singular; feminine, in accusative state,
with prolongation sign; مصدر
وَعْىٌ
Verbal Noun.
Adjectival Phrase:
Noun: Indefinite; plural; masculine; nominative.
:
It is Active participle; indefinite; plural; feminine;
nominative. Both the verb
and active participle are from Root
"و ع ى".
The basic perception infolded is to "keep or retain".
:
It
is a receptacle for retaining things. An ear acts as
a receptacle for retaining; it has its own memory,
retaining place. American psychologist
George Sperling demonstrated the existence of sensory memory in an
experiment in 1960. Sensory memory systems typically function
outside of awareness and store information for only a very short
time. Iconic memory seems to last less than a second. Echoic memory probably lasts a bit longer;
estimates range up to three or four seconds.
The sculpted statues, whom some people worship, do have an organ resembling the shape of an ear. However, the genuine ear has three parts. The outer ear collects sounds from the outer world and forwards them to the middle ear, which reinforces the sound vibrations reaching it and transmits them to the inner ear. The inner ear then sends them to the brain by turning them into electrical signals according to their intensity and frequency. After visiting several places in the brain, the messages are finally transmitted to the hearing center where these signals are processed and interpreted, and the process of listening finally takes place.
One of the most surprising things is the speed at which the 20,000 micro-hairs in the channels in the ear react. The middle channel vibrates at 256 times a second. The channel immediately above it vibrates at 512 times a second, and the channel above that, at 1,024 times. The micro-hairs’ efficiency in analyzing such fast vibrations allows us to distinguish with great sensitivity the sounds reaching the ears. This constitutes one of the most sensitive and rapid reactions in the body.
A book is authored and transmitted in time and space for those people who are truly living. Books are not for the dead.

Let us see the verdict announced by Qur’ān as to what is constitutive of human life, and what is that must be absent before the person can be said to be dead notwithstanding biological functions of lung and heart are maintained:

:
Verb: Imperfect; third person; singular; masculine; Mood: Indicative;
[Form-X]; مصدر-اِسْتِجَابَةٌ-
Verbal noun. Its Root is "ج و ب"
and the basic perception infolded in it is to cut something, a portion from
the whole; to make hole or tore something, perforate, pierce, and carve or to excavate. It also signifies to
answer or respond to others. How do we answer? What is the mechanism
involved? We in fact cut and retrieve
the information from the memory when we intend to answer to others. The
perception infolded in Arabic Roots remains dominant in the perception
and meanings of the words derived from them. The Arabic Roots verbally
mirror the physical/scientific realities relating to both matter and
life. For answering, we need to cut data from the memory.
The verbal data preserves in the memory if we consciously and attentively listen to the narrations. It enables its transmission for analysis/perception and storage in the memory. It happens only if the listener has such intention and desire:

The subjection to their accountability has come nearer in time for the people. Despite its nearing, they are yet in heedlessness; they are deliberately overlooking - disregarding. [21:01]
They do not listen except hearing in a playful mood whatever warning - information comes to their notice anew quoted from the Reminder- Admonishment: Grand Qur’ān received from their Sustainer Lord. [21:02]
Their hearts are distracted and preoccupied in other trifle matters and thoughts. [Refer 21:03]
Fear is induced by a
perceived threat. The elevated Last Messenger and the Grand Qur’ān
delivered to humanity by him are declared as
:
the Revivalist-Warner-Awakener. Its Root is "ن ذ ر". The basic perception infolded in the Root is to
be; and make people in a state of cautiousness-awareness-alarmed of
imminent-potential threat and its consequence if proper guards are not
taken. It is to bring people out of a state of heedlessness and
mindlessness, and inform, awaken and alert them about the facts hidden
in the future. It is thus advance warning and admonishment to get out of
the state of neglectfulness-unawareness and take safeguards to meet the
eventuality and avert the danger and negative consequence.
Grand Qur’ān intermittently evocates the painful end of civilizations of the past and imminent threats of awful phenomenon present in the nature around the people. And it elaborates the painful consequences of certain acts that are bound to happen in future.
Fear is a fundamental aspect of survival. All living has to protect themselves from dangerous situations in order to survive. Fear is an ability to recognize or perceive danger resulting in urge to confront it or flee from it or a freeze or paralysis response is possible. The Survival Brain-Stem brain reacts to danger and threats of imminent danger. Brain death occurs when a person no longer has any activity in their brain stem and no potential for consciousness, even though their heart kept beating and oxygen circulating through their blood.
The elevated Messenger is therefore consoled on the non-response of such people to his invitation to believe and accept the Word:

A deaf man can be made to "listen and learn" if he is confronting-watching eye to eye but not when he has turned on his back. It was disclosed in the Qur’ān in 7th Century that deaf have the capability to "listen, learn and get educated". But according to Encyclopedia Encarta most people believed until the Middle Ages that deaf persons were incapable of learning language or of being educated in any way. By the 16th century, however, a few philosophers and educators began to reconsider the condition of deaf persons.
Grand
Qur’ān
is delivered for those who are alive. The elevated Messenger Muhammad
Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam
cannot make the dead people listen the Qur’ān. Listening is a
volitional phenomenon. For the purposes
and considerations of the elevated Messenger and the Grand Qur’ān who are in
timeline:
the Revivalist-Warner-Awakener: a person is dead who refuses and deliberately
listens not the spoken and written words that have reached him. Therefore, it is
not a relevant question whether or not the Messenger is alive and present
amongst us. The relevant and appropriate
question to be seriously considered is: are we alive?
Grand Qur’ān is the unique Book, distinct and exalted above all the books present in the world and buried in archives. Its style is individualistic, expressive and engaging for the reader. The language is natural and brings each topic to life. Choice of words and arrangement of text is such that it does not let its audience be a passive reader. It encourages him to interact with the Book and have the feel of the presence of the Being behind these words-Whose parlance-discourse he is reading. And to interact and listen the voice of the person-elevated Messenger of Allah the Exalted who spoke and wrote these words. But the fact remains that while reading the Book only those can hear the voice in the text that apprehensively listen and use their conscious brain to analyse and reflect.
|
It is time that we revive ourselves to life to feel the presence of Omnipotent and the voice of the elevated Messenger of Allah the Exalted in the words of Qur’ān. Let us listen those who did not listen nor applied intellect:
|
|
After having seen and listened what has happened in the end, let us become good listeners and apply intellect to differentiate; between the words and facts; relayed by the elevated Messenger of Allah the Exalted, permanently and unalterably saved in the Qur’ān which is now in our hand, and the conjectural stories and myths which are by design made the talk of the town by the enemies of the exalted last Messenger of Allah the Exalted. The criterion for evaluation and judgment and success in the examination-trial is solely the Aa'ya'at: verbal passages of the Book of Allah the Exalted, Grand Qur’ān.
