Mazhar A. Nurani:

  • Moreover, what could be the matter-rationale for you people that you might not spend in the Path of Allah the Exalted? While the reality is that the domain of the Skies and the Earth is eternally the belonging for Allah the Exalted.

  • Those who had spent before the event of the Conquest of Mecca and confronted war do not and will never equate in timeline with any one amongst you people.

  • They are the people who are comparatively great.

  • Their greatness is with regard to their elevated rank-ascension in contrast to all the people who did the same act of spending and confronting war in time and space in time-line after the Conquest.

  • Though Allah the Exalted has promised an appropriate/proportionate reward for all others.

  • Remain mindful that Allah the Exalted is perpetually informed/aware of all those acts which you people keep doing. [57:10]

Translation of those who admire Mirza Ghulam Ahmad [Founder of Ahmadiya Organization]:

English Translation by Maulvi Sher Ali    اردو ترجمہ  مرزا طاہر احمد

[57:11] And why is it that you spend not in the way of Allah, while to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth? Those of you who spent and fought before the Victory are not equal to those who did so later. They are greater in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards. And to all has Allah promised good. And Allah is Well-Aware of what you do.

Muhammad Ali: And what reason have you that you spend not in Allah’s way? And Allah’s is the inheritance of the heavens and the earth. Those of you who spent before the Victory and fought are not on a level (with others). They are greater in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards. And Allah has promised good to all. And Allah is Aware of what you do.

Rashad Khalifa [the so called claimant of "messenger of covenant"]

Why do you not spend in the cause of GOD, when GOD possesses all wealth in the heavens and the earth? Distinguished from the rest are those among you who spend before the victory and strive. They attain a greater rank than those who spend after the victory and strive. For each, GOD promises salvation. GOD is Cognizant of everything you do.

....................................

George Sale: And what aileth you, that ye contribute not of your substance for the defence of God's true religion? Since unto God appertaineth the inheritance of heaven and earth. Those among you who shall have contributed and fought in defense of the faith, before the taking of Mecca, shall not be held equal with those who shall contribute and fight for the same afterwards. These shall be superior in degree unto those who shall contribute and fight for the propagation of the faith after the abovementioned success: But unto all hath God promised a most excellent reward; and God well knoweth that which ye do.

Yusuf Ali: And what cause have ye why ye should not spend in the cause of Allah?- For to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. Not equal among you are those who spent (freely) and fought, before the Victory, (with those who did so later). Those are higher in rank than those who spent (freely) and fought afterwards. But to all has Allah promised a goodly (reward). And Allah is well acquainted with all that ye do

Pickthall: And what aileth you that ye spend not in the way of Allah when unto Allah belongeth the inheritance of the heavens and the earth? Those who spent and fought before the victory are not upon a level (with the rest of you). Such are greater in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards. Unto each hath Allah promised good. And Allah is Informed of what ye do.

Shakir: And what reason have you that you should not spend in Allah's way? And Allah's is the inheritance of the heavens and the earth, not alike among you are those who spent before the victory and fought (and those who did not): they are more exalted in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards; and Allah has promised good to all; and Allah is Aware of what you do.

Sahih International: And why do you not spend in the cause of Allah while to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth? Not equal among you are those who spent before the conquest [of Makkah] and fought [and those who did so after it]. Those are greater in degree than they who spent afterwards and fought. But to all Allah has promised the best [reward]. And Allah , with what you do, is Acquainted.

Muhammad Sarwar: Why do you not spend for the cause of God when to Him belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth? However, to both parties God has promised good rewards. God is Well Aware of what you do.

Mohsin Khan: And what is the matter with you that you spend not in the Cause of Allah? And to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. But to all, Allah has promised the best (reward). And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.

Not equal is he among you who spent, and who fought before the victory; those are mightier in rank than they who spent and fought afterwards; and unto each God has promised the reward most fair; and God is aware of the things you do.

Ahmed Ali: And why not for you (is it) that you do not spend in God's way/path ? And to God (are) the skies'/space's and the earth's/Planet Earth's inheritance, (it did) not become equal/alike, from you who spent from before the opening/victory and fought, those are a step/degree/stage greater than those who spent from after (the opening/victory) and they fought, and (to) each, God promised the best/goodness , and God (is) with what you make/do, expert/experienced.

Maududi: How is it that you do not expend in the Way of Allah when to Allah belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earth? Those who spent their wealth and took part in fighting before the Victory cannot be equated (with those who spent their wealth and took part in fighting afterwards). They are higher in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards. But to each Allah has promised a good reward. Allah is well aware of all that you do.

And God is Aware of what you do.
