  • Thereupon, the thunder storm seized you people—

  • اس پرگرج چمک (thunderstorm)نے تم لوگوں کو آ ن لیاتھا۔

اللہ تعالیٰ کوآنکھوں سے دیکھنے کا مطالبہ

  • Afterwards, Our Majesty revived you people to life after your natural death —

بعد ازاں،تم لوگوں کی طبعی موت کے بعد ہم جناب نے تم لوگوں کو دوبارہ اٹھا دیا(حیات کو بحال کر دیا)۔

  • It was likely that you people might acknowledge and express praises-thanks. [2:56]

(ایسا کرنے کا مقصد یہ تھا کہ تم لوگ اظہار تشکرکرو/کہی بات اختیار کرو۔(البقرۃ۔٥٦

  • And Our Majesty had caused a Parasol, covering shade upon you people with Sky covering Clouds: Stratocumulus. [for saving you from scorching heat of Sinai peninsula]

The First Atlas of Clouds in Qur’ān

  • Moreover, Our Majesty had sent fully prepared meal "Munna and Sal'wa" upon you people.

It was some typical fully cooked and prepared meal that used to be compositely descended upon them while they were staying by the right side of At-Tur: Mountain Range of Sinai. The same information is given by third person pronoun:

  •  Moreover, Our Majesty had sent fully prepared meal "Munna and Sal'wa" upon them. [Refer 7:160]

The Form-IV perfect verb: can be understood as if it was one time happening. It also reveals that the whole meal needed for all of them was descended in one go ready for consumption. But it was regularly sent at intervals as is evident by the use of Form-II of the same verb in Ayah 20:80 in address to them in those days:

  • They were reminded: "O you the posterity of Iesraa'eel!

  • Our Majesty has delivered—rescued you in the recent past from your enemy —

  • And Our Majesty have committed you people the right side of At-Tur: Mountain Range of Sinai —

  • And Our Majesty have intermittently sent upon you people fully prepared meal "al-Munna and As-salwa": excellent food. [20:80]


It was special meal as is disclosed in Ayah 2:61

  • Keep tracing the past; when you people said: "O Mūsā, we might no more tolerate one kind of food.

  • Therefore, beseech your Sustainer Lord for us that He should cause-arrange for us that which the Earth grows —

  •  Its vegetable-herbs, and its cucumbers, and its grains, and its lentils, and its onions."

  • He said; "Are you people seeking replacement which is inferior in place of that which is better one?

  • [Okay] Go you down to a city, whereby there is certainly for you that which you have asked". [Refer 2:61]

 

It seems that this meal was perhaps barbeque as they wanted replacement with sort of spicy vegetarian meal.
