015- سُوۡرَةُ الحجر


الٓرۚ

  • Aleph: a letter; Laam: a Consonant with prolongation sign/glyph; Ra: a Consonant conjoined with preceding consonant.

  • عربی زبان کے حروف الف،لام بمع آواز کی طوالت کانشان اور منسلک حرف ر

تِلْكَ ءَايَٟتُ ٱلْـكِـتَٟبِ

  • These are the Aa'ya'at: signs - passages of the [Mother/Principal] Book

  •  یہ معلوم کتاب(ام الکتاب) کےمندرجات( آیات )ہیں

۔قرءان مجید کا سرچشمہ:ام الکتاب

وَقُرْءَانٛ مُّبِيـنٛ .15:01١

  • And these are passages of Qur’ān [sent in Arabic]; its peculiar feature is text penned in individuated segments that render each distinct and explicit  [15:01]

  • اور قرءان کی آیات ہیں جس کا وصف یہ ہے کہ اس کےمتن میں ہر ایک موضوع/topic-concept الگ تھلگ انداز میں مضمون/پیرائے کی صورت قلمبند کیا گیا ہےجو کہ ہر بات کو متمیز،حقائق مستور اور حقیقت  منکشف کر دینے والاہے۔

رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَـرُوا۟ لَوْكَانُوا۟۟ مُسْلِمِيـنَ .15:02٢

  • They who disavowed will penitently wish had they been Muslims: those who accepted and were practicing the Prescribed Code: Islam. [15:02]

ذَرْهُـمْ يَأْكُلُوا۟ وَيَتَمَتَّعُوا۟

  • You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] leave them (the disavowers)so that they let their selves eat and  enjoy the worldly wherewithal

وَيُلْهِهِـمُ ٱلۡأَمَلُۖ

  • And the dune of hopes amuses and fascinates them.

فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ .15:03٣

  • Thereby, its consequence soon they will know. [15:03]

وَمَآ أَهْلَـكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٛ إِلَّا وَلَـهَا كِتَٟبٚ مَّعْلُومٚ .15:04٤

  • And Our Majesty did not annihilate people of any locality - nation - civilization except in the circumstances that a book well known had been sent for her. [15:04]

  •   مطلع رہو؛ہم جناب نے بستیوں میں کسی ایک بستی کے لوگوں کو  بھی صفحہ ہستی سے نہیں مٹایاماسوائے ان حالات میں کہ ایک  معلوم کتاب  کوان کی ہدایت کے لئے نازل کیا ہوا تھا۔(الحجر۔۴)

مَّا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٛ أَجَلَـهَا وَمَا يَسْتَـٔ​ْخِرُونَ .15:05٥

  • None a civilization-generation hastens the duration appointed for her; nor they people at their own can delay-lengthen it in timeframe. [15:05]

وَقَالُوا۟ يَـٰٓأَيُّـهَا ٱلَّذِى نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلذِّكْرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجْنُونٚ .15:06٦

  • Know it; they had spoken: "O he upon whom Memoir - Awakener (Qur’ān) has been sent, listen; Indeed you are certainly deluded and hallucinated. [15:06]

لَّوْ مَا تَأْتِيـنَا بِٱلْمَلَٟٓئِكَـةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٟدِقِيـنَ .15:07٧

  • Why not you come to us along with the Angels if you were indeed the truthful in your proclamation?" [15:07]

مَا نُنَزِّلُ ٱلْمَلَٟٓئِكَـةَ إِلَّا بِٱلحَقِّ

  • [let them keep shouting] Our Majesty descends mot the Angels routinely; but are sent for a purpose to convey the infallible communication or to execute the determined action when it has become due

وَمَا كَانُوا۟۟ إِذٙا مُّنظَرِينَ .15:08٨

  • And at that point in time they people would not be whom respite is given. [15:08]

إِنَّا نَـحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا ٱلذِّكْرَ

  • The most prominent fact is that Our Majesty have serially sent the Memoir-Reference Book (Qur’ān to Our Messenger-Spokesperson)

  • یہ حقیقت ہے کہ ہم جناب ہیں؛ہم نے بتدریج سرگزشت تخلیق اور سلسلہ رشدوہدایت(قرءان مجید)کو نازل کیا ہے۔

وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَـٟفِظُونَ .15:09٩

  • And most certainly Our Majesty are the protector and guard for it (text of Qur’ān). [15:09]

  • اور یہ حقیقت ہے,ہم جناب زمان و مکان میں ہر لمحہ بلا شبہ اس کے متن کے لئے خودحفاظت کا ذمہ لئے ہوئے ہیں۔(الحجر۔9)


وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِـى شِيَــعِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِيـنَ .15:10١٠

  • And indeed Our Majesty had sent Messengers [and the Awakener/Book] in times before you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] amongst people of varying identities. [15:10]

وَمَا يَأْتِيـهِـم مِّن رَّسُولٛ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَـهْزِءُونَ .15:11١١

  • And whenever the Messengers came to them they but purposely adopted with him a non serious jesting attitude keeping themselves playful with.  [15:11]

كَذَٟلِكَ نَسْلُـكُهُۥ فِـى قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُجْرِمِيـنَ .15:12١٢

  • This is because Our Majesty let this non-serious jesting psyche penetrate in the hearts of the criminals; [15:12]

لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦۖ

  • They (the criminal minded) will not believe in it/him (the Grand Memoir-Qur’ān).

وَقَدْ خَلَتْ سُنَّةُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِيـنَ .15:13١٣

  • And indeed precedents of earlier people of such psyche have passed. [15:13]

وَلَوْ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْـهِـم بَابٙا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَظَلُّوا۟ فِيهِ يَعْـرُجُونَ .15:14١٤

  • And had Our Majesty opened upon them a gateway hanging from the Sky, thereat they kept ascending in it all the day [15:14]

لَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا سُكِّـرَتْ أَبْصَٟرُنَا

  • They would have certainly said, "Indeed our visions have been dazzled

بَلْ نَـحْنُ قَوْمٚ مَّسْحُورُونَ .15:15١٥

  • No, perhaps that is not the case, we are rendered a people illusionary/hallucinated," [15:15]

وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِـى ٱلسَّمَاءِ بُرُوجٙا

  • And Our Majesty have indeed inserted in the Sky some structures as towers-Asteroids.

    Asteroids

وَزَيَّنَّٟهَا لِلنَّٟظِـرِينَ .15:16١٦

  • And Our Majesty have made her (the Sky) attractive for on-lookers. [15:16]

وَحَفِظْنَٟهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَٟنٛ رَّجِيـمٛ .15:17١٧

  • And Our Majesty have made her (the Sky of the Earth) secure from every Cursed and condemned Shai'taan [Satan]; [15:17]

إِلَّا مَنِ ٱسْتَـرَقَ ٱلسَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٚ مُّبِيـنٚ .15:18١٨

  • Except [regard to safety] that he who listened something clandestinely, thereupon, a visibly piercing, shone and intensely glistened fire ball-Comet followed him. [read with 67:05]  [15:18]

وَٱلۡأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَٟهَا

  • And the Earth, Our Majesty did spread/stretch her

    History of the Earth

وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيـهَا رَوَٟسِـىَ

  • And Our Majesty placed-dropped therein anchored/stabilizing mountains

   Anchors

وَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيـهَا مِن كُلِّ شَـىْءٛ مَّوْزُونٛ .15:19١٩

  • And Our Majesty sprouted in her (Earth), each and every thing mutually equated and balanced; [15:19]

وَجَعَلْنَا لَـكُـمْ فِيـهَا مَعَٟيِشَ

  • And Our Majesty have rendered in her (Earth) substances, for you people, as means of livelihoods-sustenance

وَمَن لَّسْتُـمْ لَهُۥ بِرَٟزِقِيـنَ .15:20٢٠

  • And for the one for whom you people are not responsible and capable to be providers of sustenance. [15:20] 

وَإِن مِّن شَـىْءٛ إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَآئِنُـهُۥ

  • And there is not a thing but its treasures are with Our Majesty.

وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٛ مَّعْلُومٛ .15:21٢١

  • And Our Majesty intermittently descends it not but in known quantity-measure. [15:21]

وَأَرْسَلْنَا ٱلـرِّيَٟحَ لَوَٟقِحَ

  • And Our Majesty sent the Winds in state of uplifting plentiful "semen of stallion"-aerosols-condensation nuclei.

فَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَاءٙ فَأَسْقَيْنَـٟكُمُوهُ

  • Thereby, Our Majesty dropped variable quantity of water from the Sky, whereby Our Majesty caused it a drink source for you people.

وَمَآ أَنتُـمْ لَهُۥ بِخَٟزِنِيـنَ .15:22٢٢

  • Mind it, you are not capable for persevering it in stock [for abundant quantity and other reasons]. [15:22]

وَإنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْـىِۦ وَنُمِيتُ

  • Be aware, it is a fact that Our Majesty causes life to emerge and Our Majesty causes the natural death to alive

وَنَـحْنُ ٱلْوَٟرِثُونَ .15:23٢٣

  • And Our Majesty are the owner of demesnes. [15:23]

وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا ٱلْمُسْتَقْدِمِيـنَ مِنكُـمْ

  • Beware, Our Majesty have known those amongst you people who aspire to advance forward

وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا ٱلْمُسْتَـٔ​ْخِرِينَ .15:24٢٤

  • And indeed Our Majesty have known those who lag behind. [15:24]

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحْشُـرُهُـمْۚ

  • And indeed your Sustainer Lord is the One Who will gather them

إِنَّهُۥ حَكِيـمٌ عَلِيـمٚ .15:25٢٥

  • Indeed He the Exalted is the Infinitely Just Supreme Administrator of the created realms and are the Fountain and Setter of knowledge-science of visible and invisible domains. [15:25]


وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٟنَ

  • The past time fact is that Our Majesty had created the Man

  • اس حقیقت کو جان لو کہ ہم جناب نے انسان کو بحثیت انسان تخلیق فرمایا تھا۔

مِن صَلْصَٟلٛ مِّنْ حَـمَإٛ مَّسْنُونٛ .15:26٢٦

  • Man was corporeally created with the raw material comprising of sand mixed crinkled clay drawn from odour-diffused pulverized fetid muddy compound. [15:26]

  • (اس کی تخلیق کے لئے ریت ملی کھنکھناتی مٹی کے ذرات کو ایسے گارے سے منتخب کیا گیاتھا جس کو سل بٹے پر مسل کر تعفن کو منتشر کر دیا گیاتھا۔(الحجر۔ ۲۶

   Man's Origin: History of his coming into being.

وَٱلْجَآنَّ خَلَقْنَٟهُ مِن قَبْلُ مِن نَّارِ ٱلسَّمُومِ .15:27٢٧

  • And Our Majesty had created the Species Jinn. Our Majesty had created him in earlier time line shaped from the fire-flame of the hot-porous-poisonous-piercing air. [15:27]

  •  ۔اور ہم جناب نے الجانؔ۔نوع جنات کو اس (انسان)سے قبل کے زمانہ میں تخلیق کیا تھا آگ کی مخصوص زہریلی گرم ہوا میں لپکنے والے شعلے کے ایک جز سے(سورۃ الرحمٰن۔15کے ساتھ پڑھیں)

وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَـٟٓئِكَةِ

  • Know the history of point in time when the Sustainer Lord of you the Messenger Lord had said for the Angels

  • قدیم تاریخ سے آگاہ ہوں جب آپ(ﷺ)کے رب نے ملائکہ کےلئے فرمایا تھا:۔

إِ نِّـى خَٟلِقُۢ بَشَـرٙا

  • "I am about to create a "skinned corporeal compact structure"

  • میں  حسن و جمال کے پیکرایک سانچے/جسد کو تخلیق کرنے لگا ہوں۔’’

      Man's Origin: History of his coming into being.

مِّن صَلْصَٟلٛ مِّنْ حَـمَإٛ مَّسْنُونٛ .15:28٢٨

  •  It will be corporeally created with the raw material comprising of sand-mixedcrinkled clay drawn from odour-diffused pulverized fetid muddy compound [15:28]

  • اس کا جسد (سانچا،ماڈل)ریت ملی کھنکھناتی مٹی کے ذرات سے بناؤں گا جسے ایسے گارے سے منتخب کیا گیا ہے جس کو سل بٹے پر مسل کر تعفن کو منتشر کر دیا گیا۔(الحجر۔ ۲۸

Man's Origin: History of his coming into being.

فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُۥ

  • Thereby, consequent to composing-coagulating, when I would have proportioned it to have attributes of proportionality and balance with others for efficient performance of the job he is being created for

  • ایسا کر لینے کے بعد جب میں اس(مذکر)تخلیق کردہ کوسنوار کر دوسروں کے ساتھ حامل اعتدال کر چکوں  اس مقصد کی انجام دہی کے لئے جو اس کی تخلیق کا سبب ہے۔

   Further processes after preparing the mould for creation of Man

وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِى

  • And when I would have blown within him the Essence-Verbal Command about My decision-finalized affair [kun-take existence as living]

  • اور میں اس(مذکر)کے اندراپنے امرمیں سے حیات پذیر ہونے کا حکم پھونک چکوں۔

فَقَعُوا۟ لَهُۥ سَٟجِدِينَ .15:29٢٩

  • Thereat, he having taken existence in pursuance of My command, you all are directed to settle in the state-frame of mind showing obeisance for him- [Aa'dam alahissalam]" [15:29]

  • تو اس وقت تم لوگ اس(ذی حیات پیکر حسن وجمال)کے لئے تعظیم بجا لانے کےانداز میں ہو جانا۔

فَسَجَدَ ٱلْمَلَٟٓئِكَـةُ كُلُّهُـمْ أَجْـمَعُونَ .15:30٣٠

  • Thereupon, in compliance thereof the Angels did pay obeisance to him (Adam), let it be emphasized everyone of them paid obeisance; they paid obeisance collectively. [15:30]

  • اس کے وجود پذیر ہو جانے پر تعمیل حکم میں ملائکہ انہیں تعظیم بجا لائے،جان لیں تمام کے تمام ملائکہ اجتماعی طورپراحترام میں سر نگوں ہوئے تھے۔

إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ

  • However, Ieb'lees did not pay obeisance

  • مگر ابلیس نے اُسے الگ سے دئیے گئے حکم کی تعمیل میں سجدہ تعظیم بجا لانے سے اپنے آپ کوباز رکھا تھا۔

أَبَـىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّٟجِدِينَ .15:31٣١

  • He demurred (in response to the command given to him separately) that he might become inferior by accompanying those who humble in obeisance. [15:31]
  • اُس ( ابلیس )نے اس بات کو اپنے شایان شان نہیں سمجھا۔اپنے وقاراور خودداری کے منافی سمجھاکہ پست حیثیت تسلیم کر کےتعظیم بجا لانے  والوں کے ساتھ ہو

قَالَ يَٟٓإِبْلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّٟجِدِينَ .15:32٣٢

  • He the Exalted enquired, asking, "O Ieb'lees! What was that for you which prompted that you may not be the reverent along with those who humble in obeisance?" [15:32]

  • ان جناب نے پوچھا’’اے ابلیس،تمہارے لئے کیا بات مانع ہوئی  کہ انہیں مکرم تسلیم کر کے تعظیم بجا لانے والوں کے ساتھ شامل نہیں ہوا‘‘۔

قَالَ لَمْ أَكُن لِّأَسْجُدَ لِبَشَـرٛ

  • He (Ieb'lees) replied, "I did not find myself desirous and compromising that I might humble showing obeisance for a skinned structure

  • اس(ابلیس)نے وضاحت پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا’’میں نے ایک ایسے بشر کے لئے مجسم تعظیم ہوناگوارا نہیں سمجھا۔

خَلَقْتَهُۥ

  • Your Majesty have corporeally created him

  • آپ جناب نے اسے(بشرکو)تخلیق کیا ہے۔

مِن صَلْصَٟلٛ مِّنْ حَـمَإٛ مَّسْنُونٛ .15:33٣٣

  • With the raw material comprising of sand mixed crinkled clay drawn from odor-diffused pulverized fetid muddy compound." [15:33]

  • ریت ملی کھنکھناتی مٹی کے ذرات سے  جسے ایسے گارے سے منتخب کیا گیا  جس کو سل بٹے پر مسل کر تعفن کو منتشر کر دیا گیاتھا۔

قَالَ فَٱخْرُجْ مِنْـهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيـمٚ .15:34٣٤

  • He the Exalted said, "Then you get out of it whereby indeed you are permanently discarded one [15:34]

  •  انہوں نے کہا”عدم تعمیل حکم اور اپنے تئیں آدم سے بہتر سمجھنے کے سبب تجھے حکم دیا جاتا ہے کہ یہاں سے نکل جا۔اس کے بعدتو رجیم/مردود، دھتکارا،دور کیا ہوارہے گا۔

Root: ر ج م

وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ ٱللَّعْنَةَ إِلَـىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ .15:35٣٥

  • And indeed curse and condemnation will hover upon you until the Day of Judgment." [15:35]

  • ۔اور یقینا یوم الدین ۔جزا و سزا کے دن تک تجھ پر دھتکار ہے۔“

قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِـىٓ إِلَـىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ .15:36٣٦

  • He (Ieb'lees) requested, "My Sustainer Lord! Thereby, since You the Exaled condemned me because of him[to prove my point] do give me respite until the Day they will be Revived - Resurrected." [15:36]

  • ۔اس (ابلیس)نے التجا کرتے ہوئے کہا"میرے رب!آپ نے چونکہ مجھے اس بشر کی وجہ سے ملعون کر دیا ہے اس لئے آپ جناب مجھے حیات نو دئیے جانے کے دن تک مہلت عنایت فرمائیں"۔

قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُنظَرِينَ .15:37٣٧

  • He the Exalted said, "your request is indeed acceded, you are first of the reprieved [15:37]

  • ۔ا للہ تعالیٰ نے کہا”چونکہ تیری التجا قبول کر لی گئی ہے، اس لئے یقینا مہلت دئیے جانے والوں میں توسب سے اول ہے،

إِلَـىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْوَقْتِ ٱلْمَعْلُومِ .15:38٣٨

  • Unto the Day of the appointed- determined Time and Date." [15:38]

  • ۔ایک طے شدہ وقت پر ظہور پذیر ہونے والے مخصوص دن تک۔“

قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَغْوَيْتَنِى

  • He (Ieb'lees) said: "My Sustainer Lord! Your Majesty has since condemned and ruined me because of human being

  • ۔اس(ابلیس)نے کہا ”میرے رب!آپ جناب نے چونکہ مجھےاس بشر کے سبب برباد کر دیا ہے،

لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَـهُـمْ فِـى ٱلۡأَرْضِ وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّـهُـمْ أَجْـمَعِيـنَ .15:39٣٩

  • I swear, I will certainly make for them fascination in the Earth by false hopes, desires and lust and of course I will certainly distract and thereby ruin them, all collectively [15:39]

  • ۔میں قسم کھاتا ہوں کہ میں ان کے لئے بے راہروی،حب شہوات کوپرکشش زیبائش بناؤں گا،اور قسمیہ کہتا ہوں مستقبل میں ان کو میں رشد و راست سے بہکا کرکج روی پر مائل کر کے برباد کردوں گا۔اجتماعی طور پر۔

إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْـهُـمُ ٱلْمُخْلَصِيـنَ .15:40٤٠

  • Exception to my promised Endeavour against humanity is only with regard to those of them (human beings) who are exclusively chosen as absolutely sincere allegiants of You the Exalted, and those who would have become embodiment of sincerity."[15:40]

  • سوائےان (انسانوں)میں سے آپ جناب کے ایسے  بندوں  کے   جنہیں اخلاص کے مجسم پیکر کی حیثیت   میں  خصوصاً منتخب کیا گیا ہے(انبیاء علیہم السلام) اوروہ جنہوں نے اپنے آپ کو پیکر اخلاص میں ڈھال لیا ہو گا"

قَالَ هَذَا صِرَٟطٌ عَلَـىَّ مُسْتَقِيـمٌ .15:41٤١

  • He the Exalted remarked: "This course of exclusive and sincere allegiance is the high road that is incumbent upon Me to manifest for them. [15:41]

  • ۔ان جناب نے فرمایا ”پیکر اخلاص بننا ہی وہ راستہ/طریقہ ہے جو تسلسل سے سیدھامیری جانب رواں دواں رکھتا ہے،

إِنَّ عِبَادِى لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْـهِـمْ سُلْطَٟنٌ

  • Indeed My allegiants are they that no authority and convincing argument will be available for you to influence upon them

  • ۔اس حقیقت کو تو  (ابلیس)سمجھ لے،میرے بندوں کے متعلق۔۔کوئی اختیار،مختار نامہ،سند کا اظہار کرناتیرے لئے کبھی ممکن نہیں ہو گا  کہ  تیرا ان پرتسلط ہے۔

Root: س ل ط

إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلْغَاوِينَ .15:42٤٢

  • Except for him who purposely followed you while being amongst the divagating ones. [15:42]

  • ۔تیرے بہکاوے  صرف اس پر کارگر ہوں گے جس نے، ان میں سے ہوتے ہوئے جو کسی موقع پر ازخودبھٹکے طرز حیات پر کاربندہیں، زیر مقصد تیری پیروی کی۔

Root: غ و ى

وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّـمَ لَمَوْعِدُهُـمْ أَجْـمَعِيـنَ .15:43٤٣

  • And certainly, Hell-Prison is of course the promised abode for them, yes for them all such people. [15:43]

  • اور یہ حقیقت ہے کہ جہنم ان کا اخر کار یقینی ٹھکانہ ہے،اجتماعی انداز میں۔

لَـهَا سَبْعَةُ أَبْوَٟبٛ

  • Seven gates are made for entrance therein (Hell-prison).

  • سات دروازے بنائے گئے اس (جہنم)میں داخل کرنے کے لئے۔

لِـكُلِّ بَابٛ مِّنْـهُـمْ جُزْءٚ مَّقْسُومٌ .15:44٤٤

  • A group of them is earmarked for each of the gates." [15:44]

  • ان(بھٹکے ہوئے  ،شیطان کے پیروکار لوگ)میں سے منقسم کئے ہر ایک جزو  کے لئے ایک الگ دروازہ ہے۔

Root:  ق س م


إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِيـنَ

  • Indeed they who sincerely endeavour to attain salvation

  •  ۔اور تندہی سے محتاط رہتے ہوئے اللہ تعالیٰ سے پناہ کے خواستگواروں کے لئے انعام ہے:

فِـى جَنَّٟتٛ وَعُيُونٛ .15:45٤٥

  • They will enjoy the life in gardens and fountains [15:45]

  • ۔ان کی رہائش باغوں اور چشموں پر مشتمل جنت میں ہو گی۔

ٱدْخُلُوهَا بِسَلٟمٛ ءَامِنِيـنَ .15:46٤٦

  • They will be requested, "You people enter therein with tranquillity, living safe and sound." [15:46]

  • ۔ان سے کہا جائے گا"ان میں  آپ  لوگ داخل ہو جائیں،سلامتی سے امان دئیے ہوئے احساس کے ساتھ"۔

وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِـى صُدُورِهِـم مِّنْ غِلّٛ

  • Know it, Our Majesty resolved-moved it out whatever resentment and ill-will was nurtured in their hearts in worldly life against someone of them (this sentence is also in 7:43)

  • ۔اور ہم جناب نے اس کو جو ہر طرح کی کدورت ان(متقین)کے سینوں میں ایک دوسرے کے لئے سرایت ہوئی تھی کھرچ کرنکال دیا۔

Root: ن ز ع;  غ ل ل

إِخْوَٟنٙا عَلَـىٰ سُرُرٛ مُّتَقَـٰبِلِيـنَ .15:47٤٧

  • They are sitting like brothers upon thrones in front of each other. [15:47]

  • ۔بھائی بھائی بنے ایک دوسرے کے آمنے سامنے  آرام دہ تختوں پر بیٹھے ہوں گے(خوش گپیوں میں مصروف)

Root: س ر ر

لَا يَـمَسُّهُـمْ فِيـهَا نَصَبٚ

  • Physical weakness and pain will not touch them therein

  • ۔انہیں قطعی کوئی کمزوری ،تکلیف اور بوریت کا احساس وہاں نہیں ہو گا۔

وَمَا هُـم مِّنْـهَا بِمُخْرَجِيـنَ .15:48٤٨

  • And nor will ever they be expelled from her (the Paradise). [15:48]

  • ۔اور نہ انہیں وہاں سے کبھی نکالا جائے گا۔

نَبِّـىْٔ عِبَادِىٓ أَنِّـىٓ أَنَا ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِـيـمُ .15:49٤٩

  • You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] inform My subjects that; "I am certainly magnanimously Forgiver; infinitely Merciful [15:49]

  • ۔آپ (ﷺ)میرے بندوں کو یہ خبر دے دیں کہ میں اکثر و بیشتر درگزر اور پردہ پوشی کر کے معاف کرنا والا اور منبع رحمت ہوں۔

وَأَنَّ عَذَابِـى هُوَ ٱلْعَذَابُ ٱلۡأَلِيـمُ .15:50٥٠

  • And the fact that ultimately My punishment is such that it is the severe punishment." [15:50]

  • ۔مگر انہیں اس بات سے بھی خبردار کر دیں کہ میرا عذاب جو ہے وہ منفرد دردناک عذاب ہے۔


وَنَبِّئْهُـمْ عَن ضَيْفِ إِبْرَٟهِيـمَ .15:51٥١

  • And you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] inform them about the guests of Iebra'heim [alai'his'slaam] [15:51]

إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا۟ سَلٟمٙا

  • When they had entered upon him whereat they exchanged greetings by wishing state of peace and tranquillity.

قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُـمْ وَجِلُونَ .15:52٥٢

  •  He (Iebra'heim [alai'his'slaam]) said [after exchange of pleasantries and seeing they did not extend hand to served food], "We indeed are feeling disconcert." [15:52]

قَالُوا۟ لَا تَوْجَلْ

  • They (Angels) said, "You should not feel disconcerted

إِنَّا نُـبَشِّـرُكَ بِغُلٟمٛ عَلِيـمٛ .15:53٥٣

  • We indeed congratulate you with good news of a knowledgeable son." [15:53]

قَالَ أَبَشَّـرْتُـمُونِـى عَلَـىٰٓ أَن مَّسَّنِـىَ ٱلْـكِـبَـرُ فَبِـمَ تُـبَشِّـرُونَ .15:54٥٤

  • He said, "Are you people congratulating me when the aging has touched-overcome me? Therefore, reiterate and clarify what you people are congratulating/giving glad news for". [15:54]

قَالُوا۟ بَشَّـرْنَٟكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ

  • They said, "We have congratulated you about a concrete fact

فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْقَٟنِطِيـنَ .15:55٥٥

  • Therefore you should not be amongst the despair." [15:55]

قَالَ وَمَن يَقْنَطُ مِن رَّحْـمَةِ رَبِّهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ .15:56٥٦

  • He said, clarifying he did not say what they thought, "Beware, none except the neglectful wanderers despairs from the mercy of his Sustainer Lord." [15:56]

قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُـمْ أَيُّـهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ .15:57٥٧

  • He said, "Now onwards what is your mission, O you the sent ones as Messengers!" [15:57]

قَالُوا۟ إِنَّـآ أُرْسِلْنَآ إِلَـىٰ قَوْمٛ مُّجْرِمِيـنَ .15:58٥٨

  • They replied, "We have indeed/actually been sent towards nation of criminals [15:58]

إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطٛ إِنَّا لَمُنَجُّوهُـمْ أَجْـمَعِيـنَ .15:59٥٩

  • Except the followers of Luet [alai'his'slaam]. Indeed we will rescue them all [15:59]

إِلَّا ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرْنَآۙ

  • Excluding his wife; We have already ascertained her

إِنَّـهَا لَمِنَ ٱلْغَٟبِـرِينَ .15:60٦٠

  • Indeed she is amongst those who stay behind." [15:60]

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ءَالَ لُوطٛ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ .15:61٦١

  • Thereby, to fulfill the mission when the emissaries came to the family of Luet [alai'his'slaam] [15:61]

قَالَ إِنَّكُـمْ قَوْمٚ مُّنكَرُونَ .15:62٦٢

  • He said to them, "Indeed you are unrecognized-unfamiliar people." [15:62]

قَالُوا۟ بَلْ جِئْنَٟكَ بِمَا كَانُوا۟۟ فِيهِ يَمْتَـرُونَ .15:63٦٣

  • They said, "In fact we have come to you for that which they kept suspiciously disputing [15:63]

وَءَاتَيْنَٟكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ

  • And we have given you the news of absolute and imminent fact

وَإِنَّا لَصَٟدِقُونَ .15:64٦٤

  • And indeed we are certainly the truthful [15:64]

فَأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٛ مِّنَ ٱلَّيلِ وَٱتَّبِــعْ أَدْبَٟرَهُـمْ

  • Therefore you travel with your family in a patch of the Night: illusory dawn; and you follow them remaining on their back-posterior

  • (چونکہ ان پر عذاب نازل ہونا اٹل فیصلہ ہے)۔اس لئے آپ(لوط علیہ السلام)اپنے اہل خانہ کو ساتھ لے رات کے اس پہر روانہ ہو جائیں جو رات میں سے  کاٹا ہوا دورانیہ ہے۔اور آپ  خود ان سب کے پیچھے  ان کے نقش قدم پر چلتے رہیں۔

وَلَا يَلْتَفِتْ مِنكُـمْ أَحَدٚ وَٱمْضُوا۟ حَيْثُ تُؤْمَرُونَ .15:65٦٥

  • And none of you people should look back; and you all keep going through the course you people have been advised to follow." [15:65]

  • اور آپ میں سے کسی ایک کو بھی قطعاً پیچھے کی جانب مڑ کر دیکھنا نہیں چاہئیے۔اور آپ سب ادھر چلتے جائیں جس کا آپ کو بتا دیا ہے۔

وَقَضَيْنَآ إِلَيْهِ ذَٟلِكَ ٱلۡأَمْرَ

  • Our Majesty had thus conveyed to him that this is the verdict-command

  •  ۔اور ہم جناب نے انہیں (لوط علیہ السلام) اُس معاملے کا فیصلہ سنا دیا  تھا۔۔۔

أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَٟٓـؤُلَآءِ مَقْطُوعٚ مُّصْبِحِيـنَ .15:66٦٦

  • That the back-posterity of these be cut-annihilated when they enter the true dawn. [15:66]

  • وہ یہ کہ وہ جڑ کاٹ دئیے گئے لوگوں کی طرح صبح کرنے والے ہوں گے۔


وَجَآءَ أَهْلُ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ يَسْتَبْشِـرُونَ .15:67٦٧

  • Know it; the inhabitants of the city came to his residence, they were rejoicing. [15:67]

قَالَ إِنَّ هَٟٓـؤُلَآءِ ضَيْفِى فَلَا تَفْضَحُونِ .15:68٦٨

  • He said to them, "Indeed these are my guests, therefore, you people should not let down/embarrass me   [15:68]

وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ

  • And sincerely endeavour to attain the protection from Allah the Exalted

وَلَا تُخْزُونِ .15:69٦٩

  • And you should not humiliate me." [15:69]

قَالُوا۟ أَوَ لَمْ نَنْـهَكَ عَنِ ٱلْعَٟلَمِيـنَ .15:70٧٠

  • They said, "why so, had we not forbidden you regarding other people?" [15:70]

قَالَ هَٟٓـؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِـىٓ إِن كُنتُـمْ فَٟعِلِيـنَ .15:71٧١

  • He said, "listen, my daughters are the ones who are preferably permissible for marriage if you people intend marriage." [15:71]

لَعَمْـرُكَ

  • -- O you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam]; swearing by your age of life

إِنَّـهُـمْ لَفِى سَكْـرَتِـهِـمْ يَعْمَهُونَ .15:72٧٢

  • Indeed they were certainly in blind distracted wandering in their stupefied state --. [15:72]

فَأَخَذَتْـهُـمُ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ مُشْـرِقِيـنَ .15:73٧٣

  • Thereby, the sound blast seized them when were awaking at true dawn [15:73]

فَجَعَلْنَا عَٟلِيَـهَا سَافِلَـهَا

  • Consequently, Our Majesty rendered the upper land surface-layer of city as its beneath layer [by spreading on it layer of volcano mud]

وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْـهِـمْ حِجَارَةٙ مِّن سِجِّيلٛ .15:74٧٤

  • And Our Majesty showered-sprayed upon them stones ejecting from layers of baked clayobsidians. [15:74]

إِنَّ فِـى ذَٟلِكَ لَءَايَٟتٛ لِّلۡمُتَوَسِّـمِيـنَ .15:75٧٥

  • Indeed in this incident are signs for those who discern-distinguish from signs/marks. [15:75]

وَإِنَّـهَا لَبِسَبِيلٛ مُّقِيـمٛ .15:76٧٦

  • And indeed that city is certainly at frequented pathway. [15:76]

إِنَّ فِـى ذَٟلِكَ لَءَايَةٙ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِيـنَ15:77٧٧

  • Indeed a guiding sign for the true believers manifesting abhorrence for that sordid act is inherent in this episode. [to abhor that sordid act]. [15:77]

وَإِن كَانَ أَصْحَـٟـبُ ٱلۡأَيْكَةِ لَظَٟلِمِيـنَ .15:78٧٨

  • Know it, the residents of "Al-Aikate" [afforested land-Nation Madyan-people of Shoaib alai'his'slaam] were certainly evil mongers-distorters, conjectured-altered realities and equations, falsifiers. [15:78]

فَٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنْـهُـمْ وَإِنَّـهُـمَا لَبِإِمَامٛ مُّبِيـنٛ .15:79٧٩

  • Thereby, on termination of respite period Our Majesty convicted them to punishment; and indeed both two of these: City of nation of Luet and Shoaib [alai'him'slaam] are on a frequented passage. [15:79]

وَلَقَدْ كَذَّبَ أَصْحَـٟـبُ ٱلحِجْرِ ٱلْمُـرْسَلِيـنَ .15:80٨٠

  • And indeed in the past the "People of Rocks" [Civilization Sa'mued] publicly contradicted the Messengers sent to them. [15:80]

وَءَاتَيْنَـٟـهُـمْ ءَايَٟتِنَا فَكَانُوا۟۟ عَنْـهَا مُعْـرِضِيـنَ .15:81٨١

  • And We gave them Our Aa'ya'at: Verbal passages; thereat, they deliberately and knowingly kept  avoiding, neglecting and refrained those. [15:81]

وَكَانُوا۟۟ يَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ بُيُوتٙا ءَامِنِيـنَ .15:82٨٢

  • And they kept carving in the mountains residential houses, feeling quiet secure. [15:82]

فَأَخَذَتْـهُـمُ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ مُصْبِحِيـنَ .15:83٨٣

  • Eventually, the sound blast [violent earthquake-7:78] seized them when they were awaking at true dawn. [15:83]

فَمَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْـهُـم مَّا كَانُوا۟۟ يَكْسِبُونَ .15:84٨٤

  • Thereat, that which they had attained could not avail to avert anything from them. [15:84]

وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَٟوَٟتِ وَٱلۡأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَـهُـمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّۗ

  • Realize it, Our Majesty has not created the Skies and the Earth and all that which exists between these two randomly but by conditioning them scientifically: infallible governing rules for a determined purpose and time

وَإِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ لَءَاتِيَةٚۖ

  • Realize it, the determined terminating Moment is certainly approaching.

فَٱصْفَحِ ٱلصَّفْحَ ٱلْجَـمِيلَ .15:85٨٥

  • Therefore, you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] overlook and distance them in the most dignified and gracious manner. [15:85]

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ ٱلْخَلَّٟقُ ٱلْعَلِيـمُ .15:86٨٦

  • The fact about your Sustainer Lord: He the Exalted is the absolutely knowledgeable greatest Creator. [15:86]

وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَٟكَ سَبْعٙا مِّنَ ٱلْمَثَانِـى

  • And indeed Our Majesty have given to you the Messenger [Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] Seven explicit Aa'ya'at: Verbal Passages selected-excerpted from the Binary-Symmetrical-analogous Miscellany

  • اور یہ حقیقت ہے کہ ہم جناب نے آپ(ﷺ) کو پنہاں کو ظاہر کے روبرو کرتے/متناظرمجموعہ [Binary/Symmetrical-analogous] میں سے منتخب فرمائی ہو ئی سات صریحاًواضح آیات عنایت فرمائی/پہنچائی ہیں۔

وَٱلْقُرْءَانَ ٱلْعَظِيـمَ .15:87٨٧

  • And We have given the Grand Qur’ān to you the Messenger [ Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam].  [15:87]

  • (اورہم جناب نے آپ(ﷺ) کو قرء انِ عظیم عنایت فرمایا /پہنچایاہے۔ (سورۃ الحجر۔۸۷

لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَـىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزْوَٟجٙا مِّنْـهُـمْ

  • You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] should neither henceforth lay your eyes - afford preferential attention for those groups of them: polytheists whom Our Majesty has given worldly affluence

وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْـهِـمْ

  • Nor you should grieve for them [about their awful end for non believing]

وَٱخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِيـنَ .15:88٨٨

  • And stretch your hand of compassion for the believers. [15:88]

وَقُلْ إِ نِّـىٓ أَنَا ٱلنَّذِيرُ ٱلْمُبِيـنُ .15:89٨٩

  • And tell the affluent: "Indeed me, I am the Warner-Awakener explaining manifestly." [15:89]

كَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَـى ٱلْمُقْتَسِمِيـنَ .15:90٩٠

  • It is like that riches Our Majesty had bestowed upon those who mutually bonded by oaths [15:90]

ٱلَّذِينَ جَعَلُوا۟ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ عِضِيـنَ .15:91٩١

  • These affluent people are those who did assign the Qur’ān names of falsification. [15:91]

فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَسْـَٔلَنَّـهُـمْ أَجْـمَعِيـنَ .15:92٩٢

  • Therefore, by your Sustainer Lord, Our Majesty will certainly hold accountable all of them mentioned hereinbefore [15:92]

عَمَّا كَانُوا۟۟ يَعْمَلُونَ .15:93٩٣

  • About what they were doing. [15:93]

فَٱصْدَعْ بِمَا تُؤْمَرُ

  • Therefore, you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] diverge your attention from elite non- believers that you are being advised

وَأَعْـرِضْ عَنِ ٱلْمُشْـرِكِيـنَ .15:94٩٤

  • And avoid-overlook those who ascribe hand-sculpted idols as associates with Allah the Exalted. [15:94]

إِنَّا كَفَيْنَٟكَ ٱلْمُسْتَـهْزِءِينَ .15:95٩٥

  • Indeed We suffice for you the Messenger against those who purposely indulge in mockery [15:95]

ٱلَّذِينَ يَجْعَلُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلـٰهٙا ءَاخَرَۚ

  • They who assign declaring an imaginary figure as iela'aha: godhead along with Allah the Exalted

فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ .15:96٩٦

  • [you leave them] Thereby, soon will they know its upshot. [15:96]


وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ يَضِيقُ صَدْرُكَ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ .15:97٩٧

  • And of course We know that the chest of you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam]  feels contraction because of that which they keep publicly slandering against you. [15:97]

  • ۔اطمینان رکھیں؛ہم جناب بخوبی جانتے ہیں کہ آپ(ﷺ)حساس ہیں کہ  وہ  لغو باتیں  آپ کے قلب کو ناگوار طبع  اور باعث  آزردگی ہیں جو وہ (عمائدین)لوگوں سے کرتے رہتے ہیں۔

فَسَبِّــحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ

  • Therefore, ignoring slanderous propaganda you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] continue exerting for the fulfilment of assigned job praising your Sublime Sustainer Lord

  • ۔چونکہ ان کا تعلق اور سبب ہماری آیات سے ہے،آپ کی ذات سے نہیں،اسلئے ان سے اعراض برتتے ہوئے آپ اپنے فرائض منصبی کی تکمیل کے لئے اپنے رب کی حمد بیان کرتے ہوئے برسرپیکار رہیں۔

وَكُن مِّنَ ٱلسَّٟجِدِينَ .15:98٩٨

  • And remain with/in company of those who prostrate [15:98]

  • ۔اور آپ(ﷺ)اپنا زیادہ وقت ان لوگوں کی صحبت کو دیں جو سجدہ گزاروں میں سے آپ کو رجوع کرتے ہیں۔

وَٱعْبُدْ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَكَ ٱلْيَقِيـنُ .15:99٩٩

  • And continue subservience and allegiance to your Sustainer Lord until the Death has come to your presence desirous of alienating you. [15:99]

  • ۔اور آپ (ﷺ)اپنے رب کی بااظہار بندگی کرتے رہیں یہاں تک کہ آپ کو وفات دینے کے لئے موت  آپ کے پاس آن حاضر ہو۔

016-سُوۡرَةُ النحل


أَتَـىٰٓ أَمْـرُ ٱللَّهِ فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُۚ

  • The [أَمْرُ ] Command: Grand Qur'aan announcing sounding of true big bang any moment of Allah the Exalted has since come-reached. Therefore, you people should not seek hastening that Day of reckoning/account.

سُبْحَٟنَهُۥ وَتَعَٟلَـىٰ عَمَّا يُشْـرِكُونَ .16:01١

  • Glory is for Him the Exalted, His pleasure is the focus of all effort; and He is Exalted above all what they conjecturally associate with Him.. [16:01]

يُنَزِّلُ ٱلْمَلَٟٓئِكَـةَ بِٱلْرُّوحِ مِنْ أَمْرِهِۦ عَلَـىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦٓ

  • He the Exalted descends the Angels acting as Messengers along with the Essence-Most Important Feature of His Command relevant to time and occasion, upon the one He designates from amongst His allegiants-subjects

أَنْ أَنذِرُوٓا۟ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۟ فَٱتَّقُونِ .16:02٢

  • The Essence-Most important feature of His Command communicated is that, "You (the Messengers) warn-remind people that indeed save Me none at all in miscellany of iela'aha: deities that are uncritically admired, adorned and worshipped is alive or organizes, administers or sustains others. Therefore, you people sincerely endeavour to attain salvation from Me." [16:02]

خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٟوَٟتِ وَٱلۡأَرْضَ بِٱلْحَقِّۚ

  • He the Exalted has created the Skies and the Earth; conditioning them scientifically: infallible governing rules for a determined purpose and time.

تَعَٟلَـىٰ عَمَّا يُشْـرِكُونَ .16:03٣

  • He is Exalted above all those they conjecturally group-associate with Him. [16:03]

خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَٟنَ مِن نُّطْفَةٛ

  • He the Exalted has created the Man from a segment of a sperm.

فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيـمٚ مُّبِيـنٚ .16:04٤

  • Thereby, when he is in strengthen maturity,  he is obsessively compulsive and excessively argumentative.. [16:04]

وَٱلۡأَنْعَٟمَ خَلَقَهَاۗ

  • And the herbivorous Mammals; He the Exalted has created them:

لَـكُـمْ فِيـهَا دِفْءٚ وَمَنَٟفِعُ وَمِنْـهَا تَأْكُلُونَ .16:05٥

  • Warmth-fur and other advantages for your benefit are rendered in them; and some of them you people eat. [16:05]

وَلَـكُـمْ فِيـهَا جَـمَالٌ حِيـنَ تُرِيحُونَ وَحِيـنَ تَسْـرَحُونَ .16:06٦

  • And glamorous - sensually pleasing display is distinction for you people in their (mammals) possession when you bring them back and when take them out. [16:06]

وَتَحْـمِلُ أَ ثْقَالَـكُـمْ إِلَـىٰ بَلَدٛ لَّمْ تَكُونُوا۟ بَٟلِغِيهِ إِلَّا بِشِقِّ ٱلۡأَنفُسِۚ

  • And they carry your loads towards locations which you could not carry there except with trouble to selves.

إِنَّ رَبَّكُـمْ لَرَءُوفٚ رَّحِـيـمٚ .16:07٧

  • Realize the fact that the Sustainer Lord of you people is certainly kind and merciful. [16:07]

وَٱلْخَيْلَ وَٱلْبِغَالَ وَٱلْحَمِيـرَ لِتَـرْكَبُوهَا وَزِينَةٙۚ

  • And He the Exalted created horses, and mules and donkeys, so that you people might use them for ride-carriage. And these mammals have become object of alluring desire.

وَيَخْلُقُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ .16:08٨

  • And He the Exalted creates-will create that which you people know not. [16:08]

وَعَلَـىٰ ٱللَّهِ قَصْدُ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَمِنْـهَا جَآئِرٚۚ

  • Take note, the direction of the Course-High road is incumbent upon Allah the Exalted to manifest for people. But a wanderer - deviant journeys away from it.

وَلَوْ شَآءَ لَـهَدَىٰكُـمْ أَجْـمَعِيـنَ .16:09٩

  • Know it, had He the Exalted so willed, He would have certainly led you, all together, on the determined path. [but that was not the scheme/purpose of creation]. [16:09]

هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٙۖ

  • He the Exalted is the One Who has dropped water from the Sky

لَّـكُـم مِّنْهُ شَرَابٚ

  • Palatable drink is available for you people out of descended water.

وَمِنْهُ شَجَرٚ فِيهِ تُسِيمُونَ .16:10١٠

  • And forest is served by a part of it (water), wherein you people visit seeking advantages. [16:10]

يُنۢبِتُ لَـكُـم بِهِ ٱلزَّرْعَ

  • He the Exalted produces-sprouts with it (water), for the benefit of you people, the cultivated grain-crops [family: grasses]

وَٱلزَّيْتُونَ وَٱلنَّخِيلَ وَٱلۡأَعْنَٟبَ

  • And olives and date-palms and grapes

وَمِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَـرَٟتِۗ

  • And plants of all other types of fruits

إِنَّ فِـى ذَٟلِكَ لَءَايَةٙ لِّقَوْمٛ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ .16:11١١

  • Indeed a sign indicating the existence of the Creator and Setter of sciences is obvious in the aforementioned fact for the people who have the habit of reflecting objectively to arrive at the purpose of creation. [16:11]

وَسَخَّرَ لَـكُـمُ ٱلَّيلَ وَٱلْنَّـهَارَ وَٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَـرَۖ

  • And He the Exalted has subjected-subjugated the Night and the Day and the Sun and the Moon to a set discipline-science

وَٱلْنُّجُومُ مُسَخَّرَٟتُۢ بِأَمْرِهِۦٓۗ

  • And the Stars are objects subjected to set discipline by His Command.

إِنَّ فِـى ذَٟلِكَ لَءَايَٟتٛ لِّقَوْمٛ يَعْقِلُونَ .16:12١٢

  • Indeed signs indicating the existence of the Creator and Setter of sciences are obvious in the foretasted existents for people who use faculty of reason and intellectual inquiry. [16:12]

وَمَا ذَرَأَ لَـكُـمْ فِـى ٱلۡأَرْضِ مُخْتَلِفٙا أَ لْوَٟنُهُۥٓۗ

  • And whatever He the Exalted had sowed in the Earth for you people, its colours retain mutually varying appearance.

إِنَّ فِـى ذَٟلِكَ لَءَايَةٙ لِّقَوْمٛ يَذَّكَّرُونَ .16:13١٣

  • Indeed this colour-variation has in it manifestation reflecting the Divine Providence and Will for such people who use faculty of reason and intellectual inquiry. [16:13]

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى سَخَّرَ ٱلْبَحْرَ

  • And He the Exalted is the Only Who has subjected the water-reservoir to a set discipline

لِتَأْكُلُوا۟ مِنْهُ لَحْمٙا طَرِيّٙا

  • Wherefore you people may eat fresh and tender meat

وَتَسْتَخْرِجُوا۟ مِنْهُ حِلْيَةٙ تَلْبَسُونَـهَا

  • And that you may seek taking out there from pearls - ornaments which you people wear.

وَتَرَى ٱلْفُلْكَ مَوَاخِـرَ فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ

  • And you find the ships piercing - sailing within it; and so that you people undertake efforts  searching for His Bounty

وَلَعَلَّـكُـمْ تَشْكُـرُونَ .16:14١٤

  • And so that you people might keep expressing gratitude. [16:14]

وَأَلْقَىٰ فِـى ٱلۡأَرْضِ رَوَٟسِـىَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِكُـمْ

  • And He the Exalted has placed in the Earth anchors-solidly grounded (mountains-79:32); the intent was that she might not oscillate along with you people

وَأَنْـهَٟرٙا

  • And He the Exalted has placed in the Earth water flows

وَسُبُلٙا

  • And paths/passages for travel

لَّعَلَّـكُـمْ تَـهْتَدُونَ .16:15١٥

  • So that you people may lead your selves to desired destination. [16:15]

وَعَلٟمَٟتٛۚ

  • And He the Exalted has placed in land marks-pointers

  • اور ان جناب نے زمین میں کئی علامات رکھی ہیں۔

وَبِٱلنَّجْمِ هُـمْ يَـهْتَدُونَ .16:16١٦

  • And they people get the direction-guidance with the help of the Star - North pole. [16:16]

  • اور وہ لوگ ایک منفرد/مخصوص ستارے (قطبی ستارہ)کے ذریعے ازخود سمت کے تعین کے لئے ہدایت پاتے ہیں۔

Root: ھ د ى

أَفَمَن يَخْلُقُ كَمَن لَّا يَخْلُقُۗ

  • Is He the Exalted Who creates could be considered alike he who does not create?

أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ .16:17١٧

  • [why you deviate] Is it for reason that you people purposely decide not to reflect? [16:17]

وَإِن تَعُدُّوا۟ نِعْمَةَ ٱللَّهِ لَا تُحْصُوهَآۗ

  • And if you people attempt to count the favours-things of benefit granted/created by Allah the Exalted, you would not be able to aggregate them.

  • ۔غور کرو؛اللہ تعالیٰ کی زندگی میں سہولتیں اور فرحت بخش عنایات کو اگر تم لوگ شمار کرنا شروع کرو تو تم ان کا احاطہ نہیں کر پاؤ گے۔

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَغَفُورٚ رَّحِـيـمٚ .16:18١٨

  • Indeed Allah the Exalted is certainly oft-Forgiving and the Fountain of Mercy. [16:18]

  • ۔یہ حقیقت ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اکثر و بیشتر درگزر اور پردہ پوشی کر کے معاف فرمانے والے ہیں؛وہ منبع رحمت ہیں۔

وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُسِـرُّونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ .16:19١٩

  • Be mindful, Allah the Exalted knows that which you people conceal-withhold in your chests, and what you reveal-say openly. [16:19]

وَٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ لَا يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْــٔٙا

  • Realize it, those (people) who call upon gods, besides Allah the Exalted, know that they (held as godheads) create nothing

وَهُـمْ يُخْلَقُونَ .16:20٢٠

  • While they (thought and held as gods) themselves are being created-shaped-sculpted [16:20]

أَمْواتٌ غَيْـرُ أَحْيَآ ءٛۖ

  • They (other than Allah, whom people call godheads) are inanimate objects - dead ones, other than vivified - alive

وَمَا يَشْعُـرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبْعَثُونَ .16:21٢١

  • And neither they (godheads) have consciousness about when they will be reinstated. [16:21]

إِلٰـهُكُـمْ إِلَـٟهٚ وَٟحِدٚۚ

  • Remain mindful that the Iiela'aha: Sovereign Sustainer Lord of you people is characteristically such Sustainer Lord Who maintains Aloneness.

فَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلۡۡۡءَا خِـرَةِ قُلُوبُـهُـم مُّنكِـرَةٚ

  • Thereby, those who do not believe in the Hereafter, their hearts are reluctant to acknowledge this fact.

وَهُـم مُّسْتَكْبِـرُونَ .16:22٢٢

  • And they are in fact obsessed by self-pride of grandeur. [16:22]

لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِـرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَۚ

  • There is not an iota of doubt that Allah the Exalted certainly knows what they people conceal-withhold in chests and what they reveal-say openly.

إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُسْتَكْبِـرِينَ .16:23٢٣

  • It is fact that He the Exalted does not appreciate and approve for nearness the self obsessed of pride of grandeur. [16:23]

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَـهُـم مَّاذَآ أَنزَلَ رَبُّكُـمْۙ

  • And when it was said for these obsessed with greatness elite, "What is that which your Sustainer Lord has sent?"

قَالُوا۟ أَسَٟطِيـرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِيـنَ .16:24٢٤

  • They said, "Tales of ancients." [16:24]

لِيَحْـمِلُوٓا۟ أَوْزَارَهُـمْ كَامِلَةٙ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٟمَةِۙ

  • [leave them misguiding their own people] So that they may uplift their own burdens in total on the Day of Rising

وَمِنْ أَوْزَارِ ٱلَّذِينَ يُضِلُّونَـهُـم بِغَيْـرِ عِلْمٛۗ

  • And also some of the burdens of those whom they kept misleading without knowledge.

أَ  لَا سَآءَ مَا يَزِرُونَ .16:25٢٥

  • Indeed evil are the burdens they bear. [16:25]

قَدْ مَكَـرَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِـهِـمْ

  • Indeed the people who flourished in times before them had intrigued

فَأَتَـى ٱللَّهُ بُنْيَٟنَـهُـم مِّنَ ٱلْقَوَاعِدِ فَخَرَّ عَلَيْـهِـمُ ٱلسَّقْفُ مِن فَوْقِهِـمْ

  • Thereby, because of their persistent defiance and respite period getting over, Allah the Exalted gave their buildings jolt from foundations, resultantly the roofs fell over them from above them

وَأَتَىٰـهُـمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُـرُونَ .16:26٢٦

  • And the infliction came to them from where they were not perceiving it. [16:26]

ثُـمَّ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٟمَةِ يُخْزِيـهِـمْ

  • Afterwards, He the Exalted will make them feel disgraced on the Day of Rising

وَيَقُولُ أَيْنَ شُرَكَآءِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ كُنتُـمْ تُشَٟٓقُّونَ فِيـهِـمْۚ

  • And He the Exalted will say to those who adopted sculpted idols as partners, "where are My associates, those in which you people used to seclude your identities."

قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمَ إِنَّ ٱلْخِزْىَ ٱلْيَوْمَ وَٱلْسُّوٓءَ عَلَـى ٱلْـكَـٟفِرِينَ .16:27٢٧

  • Those who were endued with the knowledge said, "Indeed, disgrace and affliction is today due upon the persistent rejecters [16:27]

ٱلَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّىٰـهُـمُ ٱلْمَلَٟٓئِكَـةُ ظَالِمِىٓ أَنفُسِهِـمْۖ

  • Whom the Angels are segregating-alienating; they were wrong doers to their selves."

فَأَ لْقَوُا۟ ٱلسَّلَمَ مَا كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ مِن سُوٓءِۭۚ

  • Thereupon, on being segregated and arrested as criminals, they submitted-pleaded Islam, saying: "We were not doing any thing evil."

بَلَـىٰٓ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيـمُۢ بِمَا كُنتُـمْ تَعْمَلُونَ .16:28٢٨

  • Angels responded, "No, Indeed Allah the Exalted knows what you people had been doing [16:28]

فَٱدْخُلُوٓا۟ أَبْوَٟبَ جَهَنَّـمَ خَٟلِدِينَ فِيـهَاۖ

  • Thereby, enter the gates of Hell-Prison to dwell therein for ever."

فَلَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى ٱلْمُتَكَـبِّـرِينَ .16:29٢٩

  • So certainly woeful is the abode of arrogant-suffering from misconception of greatness. [16:29]

وَقِيلَ لِلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْا۟ مَاذَا أَنزَلَ رَبُّكُـمْۚ

  •  And when those who sincerely endeavoured to attain salvation were asked, "What is that which your Sustainer Lord has compositely sent?"

قَالُوا۟ خَيْـرٙاۗ

  • They replied, "It is the best, blessing, tranquillity."

لِّلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا۟ فِـى هٟذِهِ ٱلْدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٚۚ

  • Appropriate and adequate reward is in this world for those who conducted [and advised others also] moderately, gracefully and generously

وَلَـدَارُ ٱلۡءَاخِـرَةِ خَيْـرٚۚ

  • And the abode of the Hereafter is certainly the far better

وَلَنِعْمَ دَارُ ٱلْمُتَّقِيـنَ .16:30٣٠

  • And the abode of those who sincerely endeavour to attain salvation is certainly the excellent: [16:30]

جَنَّٟتُ عَدْنٛ يَدْخُلُونَـهَا

  • The Gardens of pleasant abode, they will enter therein

تَجْـرِى مِن تَحْتِـهَا ٱلۡأََنْـهَٟرُۖ

  • Side by which streams flow

لَـهُـمْ فِيـهَا مَا يَشَآءُونَۚ

  • Everything that they desire therein will be made available to them.

كَذَٟلِكَ يَجْزِى ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُتَّقِيـنَ .16:31٣١

  • This is how Allah rewards those who sincerely endeavour to attain salvation [16:31]

ٱلَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّىٰـهُـمُ ٱلْمَلَٟٓئِكَـةُ طَيِّبِيـنَۙ يَقُولُونَ

  • They are the people Whom the Angels will be segregating them respectfully and pleasantly (upon resurrection); saying

سَلٟمٌ عَلَيْكُـمُ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْجَنَّةَ بِمَا كُنتُـمْ تَعْمَلُونَ .16:32٣٢

  • "Peace and tranquillity is upon you people; please enter into the Paradise for what you people had been doing" [16:32]

هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن تَأْتِيَـهُـمُ ٱلْمَلَٟٓئِكَـةُ

  • Are they awaiting to believe and/or act on Qur'aan but that the Angles might come to them

أَوْ يَأْتِـىَ أَمْـرُ رَبِّكَۚ

  • Or the command of your Sustainer Lord might come [for their annihilation or terminating moment of the Universe]

كَذَٟلِكَ فَعَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِـهِـمْۚ

  • This is what the people who flourished before them did.

وَمَا ظَلَمَهُـمُ ٱللَّهُ وَلـٰكِن كَانُوٓا۟۟ أَنفُسَهُـمْ يَظْلِمُونَ .16:33٣٣

  • Know it, Allah the Exalted did no injustice to them but in fact they kept doing injustice to themselves. [16:33]

فَأَصَابَـهُـمْ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا عَمِلُوا۟

  • Thereby-for reason every act has to bring effect sooner or later, evil deeds that they kept doing struck them

وَحَاقَ بِـهِـم مَّا كَانُوا۟۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَـهْزِءُونَ .16:34٣٤

  • And that hemmed them about which they purposely adopted a non serious jesting attitude keeping themselves playful with. [16:34]

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا۟ لَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا عَبَدْنَا مِن دُونِهِۦ مِن شَـىْءٛ نَّحْنُ وَلآ ءَابَآؤُنَا

  • Know it, those who ascribed partners with Allah the Exalted said, "Had Allah so willed we would not have worshipped-allegiant to any thing except Him, We and nor our forefathers would have done it

وَلَا حَرَّمْنَا مِن دُونِهِۦ مِن شَـىْءٛۚ

  • And nor we would have declared anything forbidden other than that forbidden by Him." [deceptively and impliedly conveying people that they are doing it in obedience to Allah's command]

كَذَٟلِكَ فَعَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِـهِـمْۚ

  • This is what the people who flourished before them did.

فَهَلْ عَلَـى ٱلرُّسُلِ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٟغُ ٱلْمُبِيـنُ .16:35٣٥

  • Thereby, except deliverance of explicitly explicative verbal message, were there any responsibility and obligation vested upon the Messengers? [16:35]

وَلَقَدْ بَعَثْنَا فِـى كُلِّ أُمَّةٛ رَّسُولٙا

  • Know the history, Our Majesty did appoint in every nation a Messenger for conveying and directing them:

  • ۔اس خقیقت سے مطلع رہو؛ہم جناب نے ہر ایک امت میں رسول کو لوگوں کو غفلت سے بیدار کرنے کے لئے مبعوث فرمایا تھا۔

أَنِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّ

  • That, "You people be exclusively subservient-allegiant to Allah the Exalted.

  • انہوں(رسول اللہ)نے کہا"تم لوگ اللہ تعالیٰ کی  بااظہار بندگی کرو۔

وَٱجْتَنِبُوا۟ ٱلْطَّٟغُوتَۖ

  • And diligently refrain-avoid the defiant, refractory wanderer."

  • ۔اور راست روی سے متجاوز                        باغیانہ سرکش  روش اورطرز عمل   کا تندہی سے اجتناب کرو"۔

فَمِنْـهُـم مَّنْ هَدَى ٱللَّهُ

  • Thereby, Allah the Exalted guided aright whoever wished to revert smonh them

  • ۔ہدایت نامہ پہنچا دینے پر ان لوگوں میں سے جو کوئی راہ  ہدایت پر پلٹنے کا متمنی تھا اللہ تعالیٰ نے اسے راہ ہدایت /صراط مستقیم پر گامزن کر دیا۔

وَمِنْـهُـم مَّنْ حَقَّتْ عَلَيْهِ ٱلضَّلٟلَةُۚ

  • And heedless straying by wilful design was established against other group of them.

  • ۔اور ان میں سے جو کوئی ہٹ دھرم اور شقی القلب تھا اس پر دانستہ انحراف کا جرم مستوجب سزا ہو گیا۔

فَسِيـرُوا۟ فِـى ٱلۡأَرْضِ

  • Therefore, to know and take heed/lesson, you people traverse in the Land

  • ۔چونکہ ماضی کی قوموں کی ہلاکت کے آثار باقی رکھے گئے اس لئے کرہ ارض میں گھومو پھرو۔

فَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٟقِبَةُ ٱلْمُكَذِّبِيـنَ .16:36٣٦

  • Thereat, observe the remains-archaeological evidences as to what was the end of those who publicly contradicted the Messengers and message of Allah the Exalted. [16:36]

  • ۔اس طرح آثار قدیمہ پانے پر دیکھو کہ  رسول کے پہنچائے ہدایت نامہ کی آیات کی تکذیب کرنے والوں کا انجام کیسا تھا۔

إِن تَحْرِصْ عَلَـىٰ هُدَىٰـهُـمْ

  • If you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] have heart piercing aspiration for their guidance

فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَـهْدِى مَن يُضِلُّۖ

  • Thereat, [to give solace to your heart] remember that Allah the Exalted certainly does not guide [forcefully against one's liking] him whom He exposes letting him wilfully straying

وَمَا لَـهُـم مِّن نَّـٟصِرِينَ .16:37٣٧

  • Take note, there is not all a helper for such type of people. [16:37]

وَأَقْسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَٟنِـهِـمْۙ

  • And they (the polytheists) contested by their exerted oaths by Allah to convince their people:

لَا يَبْعَثُ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَمُوتُۚ

  • "Allah will not revive him whom He causes to die."

بَلَـىٰ وَعْدٙا عَلَيْهِ حَقّٙا

  • No, the fact is opposite; resurrection is a promise obligatory upon Him the Exalted to fulfill

وَلـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلْنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ .16:38٣٨

  • But the fact is that most of the people intend not to understand; [16:38]

لِيُبَيِّـنَ لَـهُـمُ ٱلَّذِى يَخْتَلِفُونَ فِيهِ

  • The purpose is that He the Exalted may render that (resurrection) explicit for them about which they are purposely disagreeing

وَلِيَعْلَمَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَـرُوٓا۟ أَنَّـهُـمْ كَانُوا۟۟ كَـٟذِبِيـنَ .16:39٣٩

  • And that they who have disavowed may know and be exposed that indeed they were liars. [16:39]

إِنَّمَا قَوْلُنَا لِشَىْءٍ إِذَآ أَرَدْنَـٰهُ

  • Be informed, this is exclusive feature of the decree of Our Majesty for any material matter when We have decided to make it manifest

  • یہ صرف  ہم جناب کے      کسی بھی مادِّیات  کے لئے جاری کردہ  فرمان  کا خاصہ ہے کہ جب  ہم نے اس  کو ظہور پذیر کرنے کا ارادہ فرما لیا ہے

أَن نَّقُولَ لَهُۥ كُن

  • It is enough for Our Majesty to verbally say for that thing-matter-affair-person; "You become in evident-tangibly existing state".

  •  تو  ہم جناب کااُس  شئے  کے لئے یہ کہنا کافی ہوتا ہے ”تومادی دنیا میں وجود پذیر ہو جا“

فَيَكُونُ .16:40٤٠

  • In compliance thereof that (abstract but effected thing- matter - affair - person) takes existence in physical realm (which can be known- cognizable by others). [16:40]

  • تکمیل حکم میں وہ (امر؛شئے،ذی حیات،وقوعہ) مادی دنیا کے لئے وجود پذیر ہوجاتا ہے۔


وَٱلَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا۟ فِـى ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا ظُلِمُوا۟ لَنُبَوِّ ىَٔنَّـهُـمْ فِـى ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٙۖ

  • Know about those people who left their homes-migrated after having been subjected to untoward treatment and injustices, retaining faith in Allah the Exalted, Our Majesty will certainly establish them in the worldly life quite well

وَلَأَجْـرُ ٱلۡءَاخِـرَةِ أَكْبَـرُۚ

  • And certainly the reward in the Hereafter is the greatest

لَوْ كَانُوا۟۟ يَعْلَمُونَ .16:41٤١

  • Had they but known-understood. [16:41]

ٱلَّذِينَ صَبَـرُوا۟ وَعَلَـىٰ رَبِّـهِـمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ .16:42٤٢

  • Great reward is for those who exercised patience, remained firm and coolly perseverant and they rest their trust and hope upon their Sustainer Lord. [16:42]


وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ إِلَّا رِجَالٙا نُّوحِـىٓ إِلَيْـهِـمْۚ

  • And Our Majesty did not send before you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] spokespersons except men whom We used to verbally communicate.

  • اور تاریخی حقیقت یہ ہے کہ آپ(ﷺ)سے قبل بھی  ہم نےصرف مردوں کو قوموں کی جانب بحثیت رسول بھیجا،ہم انہیں بذریعہ کلام پیغام دیتے تھے۔

فَسْـَٔلُوٓا۟ أَهْلَ ٱلذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُـمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ .16:43٤٣

  • Since you people keep talking about coming of Angels, therefore, you people ask them who were/are given the Memoir/Reference Book - whose history is being mentioned, if you people do not have the information about it. [16:43]

  • ۔چونکہ تم لوگ ملائکہ کے آنے کی باتیں کرتے ہو تو اس حقیقت کے متعلق ان سے پوچھ لو جن کی تاریخ بیان ہو رہی ہے اگر تم لوگوں کے پاس اس بارے معلومات نہیں ہیں۔

بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٟتِ وَٱلزُّبُرِۗ

  • They were sent with evident unprecedented tangible signs: displays [miracles] and the boldly written Messages.

  • وہ(ماضی کے رسول)لوگوں کے پاس  عینی مشاہدہ  کے لئے ایسی شہادتوں(آیات/معجزات ) کے ساتھ بھیجے تھے     جوان کےتصور،تجربہ،سائنسی توجیح سے ماورائے اِدراک  ہوتے ہوئے اس حقیقت کی جانب  واضح رہنمائی کرنے والی تھیں کہ من جانب اللہ  سند اور برھان ہیں۔۔ اور  ابھرے نقوش میں تحریری پیغامات۔

وَأَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكَ ٱلذِّكْرَ

  • And Our Majesty has compositely sent to you the Messenger [Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] Memoir/Reference Book (Qur’ān)

  • اور ہم جناب نے آپ(ﷺ)کی جانب مجتمع انداز میں مکمل سرگشت تخلیق،تاریخ، منبع رشدوہدایت نازل کر دیا ہے۔

لِتُبَيِّـنَ لِلنَّاسِ مَا نُزِّلَ إِلَيْـهِـمْ

  • So that you the Messenger [Composite Record Holder of what has since been sent] make it explicitly distinct/crystal clear for the humanity which was successively conveyed towards them.

  • ۔تاکہ آپ(ﷺ)ہر ایک موضوع کو نکھار کر واضح اور متبین فرما دیں جو لوگوں کی جانب اتمام حجت اور رشد و ہدایت پانے کے لئے سلسلہ وار انداز میں بھیجا گیا تھا۔

وَلَعَلَّـهُـمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ .16:44٤٤

  • And the objective is perhaps they might at their own-develop a habit to objectively reflect and ponder. [16:44]

  • ۔اس طرح امکان ہے کہ وہ ازخود تفکر کر کے ہربات کی غرض و غایت کو سمجھ سکیں۔

أَفَأَمِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ مَكَرُوا۟ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ أَن يَخْسِفَ ٱللَّهُ بِـهِـمُ ٱلۡأَرْضَ

  • Is it for reason that they, who adopted deceptive manipulating techniques, have felt secured and protected against the possibility that Allah the Exalted might cave-in the Earth along with them.

  • ۔کیا وہ لوگ اپنے آپ کو اس امکان سے محفوظ و مامون سمجھتے ہیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ زمین کو بمعہ ان کے دھنسا دے جنہوں نے دھوکے اور فریب کو لائحہ تدبیر بنا لیا ہے۔

Root: م ك ر 

أَوْ يَأْتِىَـهُـمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُـرُونَ .16:45٤٥

  • Or that the Infliction might seize them from a direction they perceive not? [16:45]

  • ۔یا اس امکان سے کہ منفرد قسم کا عذاب ان کو اس جانب سے  پہنچ جائے  جس کا انہیں شعور نہیں۔

أَوْ يَأْخُذَهُـمْ فِـى تَقَلُّبِـهِـمْ فَمَا هُـم بِمُعْجِزِينَ .16:46٤٦

  • Or He the Exalted might seize them when they are in their strategic frequented place; thereat, they will not be capable of frustrating and averting that capturing of them; [16:46]

  • ۔یا وہ جناب انہیں اس وقت گرفت میں لے لیں جب وہ منصوبہ بندی والے مقام میں موجود ہیں۔جس پر وہ اس حالت میں  قطعی نہیں ہوں گے کہ اسے مؤخر کر سکیں۔

أَوْ يَأْخُذَهُـمْ عَلَـىٰ تَخَوُّفٛ

  • Or He the Exalted might seize them when they are overwhelmed by fear.

  • ۔یا وہ جناب اس وقت انہیں گرفت میں لے لیں جب کسی خوف میں مبتلا ہیں۔

فَإِنَّ رَبَّكُـمْ لَرَءُوفٚ رَّحِـيـمٌ .16:47٤٧

  • But [on not happening this overlook their boasts since] indeed your Sustainer Lord is certainly eternally the most kind and the most merciful. [16:47]

  • چونکہ  ایسا نہیں ہوا تو تمہیں مطمئن  ہو جانا چاہئے کہ  یقینا تمہارے رب   بدرجہ اتم نرمی،لطافت،کرم کا برتاؤ کرتے ہیں؛وہ منبع رحمت ہیں۔

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ إِلَـىٰ مَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَـىْءٛ

  • Have they not seen-given a thought towards that; which Allah the Exalted has created, in non-tangible to touch state-entity in their own right derivatively from matter-a tangible thing?

  • ۔کیا انہوں نے اس کی جانب نہیں دیکھا جس کو اللہ تعالیٰ نے ہر ایک شئے میں سے تخلیق کیا ہے۔

يَتَفَيَّؤُا۟ ظِلَٟلُهُۥ عَنِ ٱلْيَـمِيـنِ وَٱلْشَّمَآئِلِ سُجَّدٙا لِّلَّهِ وَهُـمْ دَٟخِرُونَ .16:48٤٨

  • The characteristic feature is that its shadows keep shifting from the rights and the lefts in the state like of those who prostrate for Allah the Exalted. Those shadows are in a state of submissive and humble natured. [16:48]

  • اس شئے کے سائے ازخود دائیں اور بائیں جوانب سے سجدہ گزار وں کی حالت میں ہونے کے لئے مقام بدلتے رہتے ہیں؛اور انکسار اور خاکساری کے روئیے کا اظہار کرنے والے ہیں۔

وَلِلَّهِ يَسْجُدُ مَا فِـى ٱلسَّمَٟوَٟتِ وَمَا فِـى ٱلۡأَرْضِ مِن دَآبَّةٛ

  • Moreover, be aware that, whoever exists amongst the Species-Animals in the Skies, and whoever exists of the Species-Animals in the Earth, they all regularly make themselves acknowledge and submit humbly in surrender for Allah the Exalted.

  • ۔اوریہ جان لو کہ جانوروں میں سےجو کوئی آسمانوں اور زمین میں حیات ہے وہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے حضور سجدہ ریز ہوتا ہے۔

وَٱلْمَلَٟٓئِكَـةُ وَهُـمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِـرُونَ .16:49٤٩

  • Moreover, the Angels keep prostrating for Allah the Exalted while they never puff themselves with pride of grandeur [16:49]

  • ۔اور ملائکہ سجدہ کرتے ہیں، اور وہ کبھی قابل تعظیم اور اعلیٰ و ارفع تسلیم کئے جانے کے خواہش مند نہیں ہوتے۔

يَخَافُونَ رَبَّـهُـم مِّن فَوْقِهِـمْ

  • They do so in a state of fearing their Sustainer Lord lest they are inflicted from above them

  • ۔وہ اس حال میں ہوتے ہیں کہ اپنے رب کا خوف ہر وقت محسوس کرتے ہیں،اور سہمے رہتے ہیں کہ کہیں ان کے اوپر سے عذاب نہ آن پڑے۔

وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ۩ .16:50٥٠

  • And they carry out every new-first time act they are commanded. [Please prostrate-and get near to your Sustainer Lord] [16:50]

  • ۔اور وہ تمام اس فعل کو انجام دیتے ہیں جس کو انجام دینے کا انہیں حکم دیا جاتا ہے۔(النحل۔50۔آیت سجدہ ہے)


وَقَالَ ٱللَّهُ لَا تَتَّخِذُوا۟ إِلـٰهَيْـنِ ٱثْنَيْـنِۖ

  • Be aware, Allah the Exalted had commanded, "You people should not purposely adopt two iela'aha: godheads, concept of duality-duel gods.

إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلـٰهٚ وَٟحِدٚۖ

  • Be mindful, Undoubtedly, He the Exalted (Allah) is the only Singular Sovereign Sustainer Lord

فَإِيَّٟـىَ فَٱرْهَبُونِ .16:51٥١

  • Therefore, feel awe for Me alone, thereby, you people keep feeling awe for Me for attaining appreciation and approval." [16:51]

وَلَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلْسَّمَٟوَٟتِ وَٱلۡأَرْضِ

  • Realize it, Whatever exists in the Skies and the Earth are subservient-dependant-subjects for Him the Exalted.

وَلَهُ ٱلدِّينُ وَاصِبٙاۚ

  • Know it, the Prescribed Code: Islam: submission-subjection will remain in vogue perpetually for Him the Exalted.

أَفَغَيْـرَ ٱللَّهِ تَتَّقُونَ .16:52٥٢

  • Would you people still aspire protection of someone other than Allah? [16:52]

وَمَا بِكُـم مِّن نِّعْمَةٛ فَمِنَ ٱللَّهِۖ

  • Know it, whatever pleasant and beneficial state of blessing is available with you people, it is by the grace of Allah the Exalted.

ثُـمَّ إِذَا مَسَّكُـمُ ٱلضُّرُّ فَإِلَيْهِ تَجْـَٔرُونَ .16:53٥٣

  • Afterwards, if  adversity has inflicted you people at some point in time, thereat, you people groan before Him the Exalted. [16:53]

ثُـمَّ إِذَا كَشَفَ ٱلضُّرَّ عَنكُـمْ

  • [In response] Afterwards, when He the Exalted removed the affliction from you people

إِذَا فَرِيقٚ مِّنكُـم بِرَبِّـهِـمْ يُشْـرِكُونَ .16:54٥٤

  • A group characteristically mischievous amongst you assigns partners with their Sustainer Lord   [16:54]

لِيَكْـفُـرُوا۟ بِمَآ ءَاتَيْنَـٟـهُـمْۚ

  • So that they might ungratefully conceal that which Our Majesty has granted them.

فَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ۖ

  • If so, then you people avail it enjoyably

فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ .16:55٥٥

  • Thereby, its consequence you will soon know. [16:55]

وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِمَا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ نَصِيبٙا مِّمّا رَزَقْنَٟهُـمْۗ

  • And they ascribe a part of sustenance that Our Majesty have given them as share for someone about whom they have no concrete knowledge

تَٱللَّهِ لَتُسْـٔ​َلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنتُـمْ تَفْتَـرُونَ .16:56٥٦

  • By Allah, certainly you people will be asked about what you people kept conjecturing falsehood. [16:56]

وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِلَّهِ ٱلْبَنَٟتِ سُبْحَٟنَهُۥۙ

  • And they ascribe-declare Angels as daughters for Allah the Exalted; Glory is for Him the Exalted, His pleasure is the focus of all effort; and He is Exalted above all what they conjecturally associate with Him.

وَلَـهُـم مَّا يَشْتَـهُونَ .16:57٥٧

  • While they ascribe what they vehemently desire to have (sons) as a source of pride and strength for them. [16:57]

وَإِذَا بُشِّـرَ أَحَدُهُـم بِٱلۡأُنثَىٰ ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُۥ مُسْوَدّٙا

  • And when one of them is congratulated with news of daughter's birth, his face is veiled blackish,  becoming exhibitor of  darkened expression

وَهُوَ كَظِيـمٚ .16:58٥٨

  • While he is in a state of disconcert [16:58]

يَتَوَٟرَىٰ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْمِ مِن سُوٓءِ مَا بُشِّـرَ بِهِۦٓۚ

  • He hides from people considering that news as disgrace he was congratulated, contemplating the options:

أَيُمْسِكُهُۥ عَلَـىٰ هُونٛ أَمْ يَدُسُّهُۥ فِـى ٱلتُّـرَابِۗ

  • Should he retain the news at the cost of disgracing humiliation or conceal that news in the mud.

أَ  لَا سَآءَ مَا يَحْكُـمُونَ .16:59٥٩

  • Be mindful, Evil and abominable is what they order/decide for people. [16:59]

لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلۡۡۡءَا خِـرَةِ مَثَلُ ٱلسَّوْءِۖ

  • The evil illustration is appropriate for depicting those who do not believe in the Hereafter.

وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْمَثَلُ ٱلۡأَعْلَـىٰۚ

  • And the sublime exalting attribution is exclusive for Allah the Exalted.

وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيـمُ .16:60٦٠

  • Be aware, He the Exalted is Pervasively dominant and the Infinitely Just Supreme Administrator of the created realm, visible and invisible. [16:60]

وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِظُلْمِهِـم مَّا تَرَكَ عَلَيْـهَا مِن دَآبَّةٛ

  • Realize it, if Allah the Exalted were to seize people in response to their evil act, thereby, He would not have left a single unjust amongst living species upon the Earth

وَلٟكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُـمْ إلَـىٰٓ أَجَلٛ مُّسَمّٙىٰۖ

  • But He gives them a respite towards a duration which has determined culminating moment.

فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُـهُـمْ

  • Thereat, when their appointed moment is reached:

لَا يَسْتَـٔ​ْخِرُونَ سَاعَةٙۖ وَلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ .16:61٦١

  • Neither would they be able to manage extending it for a second. Nor can they at their own advance its termination. [16:61]

وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِلَّهِ مَا يَكْـرَهُونَ

  • Further, they ascribe that as relationship for Allah the Exalted  which they abhor for their selves

وَتَصِفُ أَ لْسِنَتُـهُـمُ ٱلْـكَذِبَ أَنَّ لَـهُـمُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰۖ

  • And their tongues conjecture the falsity that the best is earmarked for them.


لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّ لَـهُـمُ ٱلنَّارَ

  • There is absolutely no doubt that charring heated Hell-Prison is in wait for them

وَأَنَّـهُـم مُّفْرَطُونَ .16:62٦٢

  • And that they would be people neglected and abandoned. [16:62]

تَٱللَّهِ لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَـىٰٓ أُمَمٛ مِّن قَبْلِكَ

  • By Allah, Our Majesty had sent Messengers towards nations before you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam]

فَزَيَّنَ لَـهُـمُ ٱلشَّيْطَٟنُ أَعْمَٟلَـهُـمْ

  • Thereat, Shai'taan had made their volitional deeds-vested interests-desire of status quo alluring for them

فَهُوَ وَلِيُّـهُـمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ

  • Therefore, he is their companion on the day of Requital

وَلَـهُـمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيـمٚ .16:63٦٣

  • Be mindful, a severe punishment is prepared-in wait for them. [16:63]

وَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْـكِـتَٟبَ إِلَّا لِتُبَيِّـنَ لَـهُـمُ ٱلَّذِى ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ فِيهِۙ

  • They should realize it, Our Majesty have sent the Book (Qur’ān) to you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] but for the purpose that you may render explicitly crystal clear for them the point in which they (People of Book) have differed

وَهُدٙى وَرَحْـمَةٙ لِّقَوْمٛ يُؤْمِنُونَ .16:64٦٤

  • And for the purpose that it serves as Guide in time and space because of its permanence-leading on the way to destination and as blessing for the people who believe in it. [16:64]

وَٱللَّهُ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلْسَّمَآءِ مَآءٙ

  • Acknowledge it, Allah the Exalted dropped water from the Sky

فَأَحْيَا بِهِ ٱلۡأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِـهَآۚ

  • Thereby, He the Exalted rejuvenated with it the Earth after its demise-drying up.

إِنَّ فِـى ذَٟلِكَ لَءَايَةٙ لِقَوْمٛ يَسْمَعُونَ .16:65٦٥

  • Indeed this explicit manifestation is reflective of Divine Providence and Will for such people who attentively listen.  [16:65]

وَإِنَّ لَـكُـمْ فِـى ٱلۡأَنْعَٟمِ لَعِبْـرَةٙۖ

  • Know it, indeed an insight is certainly discernable in the herbivore mammals for the benefit of you people

نُّسْقِيكُـم مِّمَّا فِـى بُطُونِهِۦ مِنۢ بَيْـنِ فَرْثٛ وَدَمٛ

  • Our Majesty provides you a composition of that to drink which is located within its [pronoun for singular male] bellies/globules; it is in the state which is central to semi processed, broken down food and that of blood

لَّبَنٙا خَالِصٙا سَآئِغٙا لِلشَّٟرِبِيـنَ .16:66٦٦

  • This information is regarding raw-pure milk [singular masculine], characteristically easy to swallow for the drinkers. [16:66]

وَمِن ثَمَـرَٟتِ ٱلنَّخِيلِ وَٱلۡأَعْنَٟبِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِنْهُ سَكَـرٙا وَرِزْقٙا حَسَنٙاۗ

  • And so is the case with the fruits of Date-palm and the Vine; you people diligently obtain intoxicant from the juice-pulp of it, and take them as decent sustenance-food.

إِنَّ فِـى ذَٟلِكَ لَءَايَةٙ لِّقَوْمٛ يَعْقِلُونَ .16:67٦٧

  • It is a fact that in this phenomenon there is explicit manifestation for the people who are in habit of critically thinking. [16:67]

وَأَوْحَـىٰ رَبُّكَ إِلَـىٰ ٱلنَّحْلِ

  • Know it, Your Sustainer Lord had communicated-ordained for the Honey-Bee:

أَنِ ٱتَّخِذِى مِنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ بُيُوتٙا وَمِنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ وَمِمَّا يَعْـرِشُونَ .16:68٦٨

  • She was ordained: "you acquire place in the mountains for residences-hives, and in the trees and in structures that people raise; [16:68]

ثُـمَّ كُلِـى مِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَـرَٟتِ

  • Afterwards, eat nectar out of blossoms of all fruit-bearing plants

فَٱسْلُـكِـى سُبُلَ رَبِّكِ ذُلُـلٙاۚ

  • Thereat, you the bee cause the travel-passages-routes of your Sustainer Lord rendered surmountable to enter."

يَخْرُجُ مِنۢ بُطُونِـهَا شَرَابٚ مُّخْتَلِفٌ أَ لْوَٟنُهُۥ

  • (Acknowledge the service they render you); A palatable liquid, its colours - hues vary, secretes from their (female bees) stomachs

فِيهِ شِفَـآءٚ  لِّلنَّاسِِۗ

  • The peculiarity of it (liquid): honey is that healing, curing, surmounting upon disease is the characteristic power embedded within it for the benefit of people.

إِنَّ فِـى ذَٟلِكَ لَءَايَةٙ لِّقَوْمٛ يَتَفَكَّـرُونَ .16:69٦٩

  • It is a fact that in this phenomenon there is explicit manifestation for the people who are in habit of reflecting objectively to arrive at the purpose of creation/recognize the Divine Providence and Will. [16:69]

وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُـمْ ثُـمَّ يَتَوَفَّىٰكُـمْۚ

  • Know it, Allah the Exalted has created you people. Afterwards on lapse of your appointed duration of life [6:02], He the Exalted alienates-segregates you people [from the company of others either dead, or "alive" if murdered in His way/cause]

وَمِنكُـم مَّن يُرَدُّ إِلَـىٰٓ أَرْذَلِ ٱلْعُمُرِ

  • However, there is a member of you people who is made to regressively return towards the relatively dependent-feeble of the period of life culminating at nethermost-non verbal infancy.

        Alzheimer's is not a disease, it is a phenomenon

لِـكَـيْلَا يَعْلَمَ بَعْدَ عِلْمٛ شَيْــٔٙاۚ

  • The explanation-effect-symptom of regression is that thenceforth he traces-retrieves not knowledge of something, after having attained knowledge.

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيـمٚ قَدِيرٚ .16:70٧٠

  • It is a certain fact that Allah the Exalted is Fountain and Setter of sciences, the absolutely Dominant in setting equations and measures. [16:70]

وَٱللَّهُ فَضَّلَ بَعْضَكُـمْ عَلَـىٰ بَعْضٛ فِـى ٱلرِّزْقِۚ

  • Observe it, Allah the Exalted has granted distinction to some of you people over some others with regard to grant of sustenance-affluence.

فَمَا ٱلَّذِينَ فُضِّلُوا۟ بِرَآدِّى رِزْقِهِـمْ عَلَـىٰ مَا مَلَـكَـتْ أَيْمَٟنُـهُـمْ فَهُـمْ فِيهِ سَوَآءٌۚ

  • The fact remains that those given distinction of affluence by excessive resources will not divert their wealth to those upon whom their right hand have authority and managing responsibility: domestic servants/serfs in their submission, whereby they all become equated in affluence.

أَفَبِنِعْمَةِ ٱللَّهِ يَجْحَدُونَ .16:71٧١

  • Is it that they the affluent knowingly deny the grace and bounty of Allah the Exalted? [16:71]

وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَـكُـم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُـمْ أَزْوَٟجٙا

  • Know it, Allah the Exalted has appointed for you people men and women, members of your own species-society, as mate-companion-spouse

وَجَعَلَ لَـكُـم مِّنْ أَزْوَٟجِكُـم بَنِيـنَ وَحَفَدَةٙ

  • And He the Exalted has declared, for you people, kinship for the sons and in-laws of your spouses.

وَرَزَقَكُـم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٟتِۚ

  • And He the Exalted has provided you people sustenance from pleasant nourishing things.

أَفَبِٱلْبَٟطِلِ يُؤْمِنُونَ وَبِنِعْمَتِ ٱللَّهِ هُـمْ يَكْـفُـرُونَ .16:72٧٢

  • Is it then they believe in the false conjectural scum; and are ingrate to the blessing of Allah the Exalted: (Qur’ān)? [16:72]

وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَمْلِكُ لَـهُـمْ رِزْقٙا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَٟوَٟتِ وَٱلۡأَرْضِ شَيْــٔٙا

  • And they worship-exhibit allegiance and subservience to some godhead other than Allah the Exalted that neither possesses sustenance of any substance for them in the Skies and the Earth

وَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ .16:73٧٣

  • Nor such godheads are capable to provide substance to their worshippers. [16:73]

فَلَا تَضْرِبُوا۟ لِلَّهِ ٱلۡأَمْثَالَۚ

  • Therefore, you people should not strike examples attributing it to Allah the Exalted

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُـمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ .16:74٧٤

  • Indeed Allah the Exalted knows everything; and you people do not know everything. [16:74]

ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلٙا عَبْدٙا مَّمْلُوكٙا لَّا يَقْدِرُ عَلَـىٰ شَـىْءٛ

  • Allah the Exalted has struck a contrast by an example of a subjugated person; his peculiarity is that he persistently have no power and prerogative over anything

وَمَن رَّزَقْنَٟهُ مِنَّا رِزْقٙا حَسَنٙا فَهُوَ يُنفِقُ مِنْهُ سِرّٙا وَجَهْرٙاۖ

  • And another person whom Our Majesty have given from Our Grace affluent stable sustenance whereby he spends out of it, secretly and publicly

هَلْ يَسْتَوُۥنَۚ

  • Adjudge, are such people considered equivalent in public eye?

ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِۚ

  • [having understood the point say] The Infinite Glory and Praise stands specified eternally, entirely and exclusively for Allah the Exalted.

بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُـمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ .16:75٧٥

  • However, the fact remains that most of them do not know; retain not such simple facts in their memory. [16:75]

وَضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلٙا رَّجُلَيْـنِ

  • And Allah the Exalted has struck an example, contrast of two men

أَحَدُهُـمَآ أَبْكَـمُ لَا يَقْدِرُ عَلَـىٰ شَـىْءٛ

  • One of those two is dumb. His circumstances are that he does not have any wherewithal.

وَهُوَ كَلٌّ عَلَـىٰ مَوْلىٰهُ

  • And he is all by himself responsible and wholly dependent upon his master.

أَيْنَمَا يُوَجِّههُّ لَا يَأْتِ بِخَيْـرٛۖ

  • Wherever should he the master send him; he would not come back with anything good.

هَلْ يَسْتَوِى هُوَ وَمَن يَأْمُـرُ بِٱلْعَدْلِۙ

  • Answer yes or no; whether he equates [in public eye], he just mentioned, with him who dictates matters to public with justice and equity

وَهُوَ عَلَـىٰ صِرَٟطٛ مُّسْتَقِيـمٛ .16:76٧٦

  • While he is moving upon the High road: Course that keeps heading safely and straight to the destination of peace and tranquillity? [16:76]


وَلِلَّهِ غَيْبُ ٱلسَّمَٟوَٟتِ وَٱلۡأَرْضِۚ

  • Know it, existents of the Skies and the Earth invisible to creatures are exclusively for Allah the Exalted to administer.

  • ۔متنبہ رہو؛آسمانوں اور زمین کی دوسروں کی بصارتوں اور بصیرت سے پنہاں حقیقتیں اللہ تعالیٰ کے لئے سرنگوں اور برسر پیکار ہوتے ہیں۔

وَمَآ أَمْـرُ ٱلسَّاعَةِ إِلَّا كَلَمْحِ ٱلْبَصَرِ أَوْ هُوَ أَ قْرَبُۚ

  • Realize it, affair/happening of the Terminating Moment is but like the twinkling of vision or rather it is nearer/less than that.

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَـىٰ كُلِّ شَـىْءٛ قَدِيرٚ .16:77٧٧

  • Indeed Allah the Exalted is eternally the Causality Determiner upon every and all things - to set them right-fix them in measure. [16:77]

  • یقیناًاللہ تعالیٰ ہر ایک شئے اور معاملے کو پیمانوں میں مقید کرنے پر ہمیشہ سے قادر ہیں۔

وَٱللَّهُ أَخْرَجَكُـم مِّنۢ بُطُونِ أُمَّهَٟتِكُـمْ

  • Realize it; Allah the Exalted brought you people out of the bellies of your respective mothers

  • اور اللہ تعالیٰ نے تم لوگوں کو تمہاری ماؤں کے بطن سے خارج کیا تھا۔

لَا تَعْلَمُونَ شَيْــٔٙا

  • In the state that you had no knowledge about physical realm.

  • اس حال میں کہ تم لوگ کسی شئے کے متعلق معلومات اور علم نہیں رکھتے تھے۔

وَجَعَلَ لَـكُـمُ ٱلْسَّمْعَ وَٱلۡأَبْصَٟرَ وَٱلۡأَفْـِٔدَةَۚ

  • Realize it, He the Exalted have inserted the listening - acoustic faculty; and the observing - optical faculty; and of Processing-Integrating-Perceiving: Baking establishment: the Brains as locus of gaining knowledge and enlightenment for you people.

  • اور انہوں نے ایک جزو کو تمہارے لئے سماعت کی لیاقت بنا دیا،اوربصارتوں کا ذریعہ،اور (قلیل تعداد میں)معلومات کو منظم/پکانے والے دماغ۔

لَعَلَّـكُـمْ تَشْكُـرُونَ .16:78٧٨

  • This realization might enable you people to express praises-thanks. [16:78] [let us respond الحمد لله]

  • مقصد یہ تھا کہ علم حاصل ہو جانے پرتم لوگ اظہار تشکر کرو۔

أَ لَمْ يَرَوْا۟ إِلَـىٰ ٱلطَّيْـرِ مُسَخَّرَٟتٛ فِـى جَوِّ ٱلسَّمَآءِ

  • Have they not seen giving a thought towards two winged birds? They are held poised in the midst of the Sky

مَا يُمْسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُۗ

  •  None but Allah the Exalted holds them.

إِنَّ فِـى ذَٟلِكَ لَءَايـٟتٛ لِّقَوْمٛ يُؤْمِنُونَ .16:79٧٩

  • Indeed signs indicating the existence of the Creator and Setter of sciences are obvious in the foretasted existents for the people who believe in Allah the Exalted. [16:79]

وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَـكُـم مِّنۢ بُيُوتِكُـمْ سَكَنٙا

  • Recognize it; Allah the Exalted has rendered a resting place for you people in your residential houses.

وَجَعَلَ لَـكُـم مِّن جُلُودِ ٱلۡأَنْعَٟمِ بُيُوتٙا

  • And He the Exalted has rendered part of the hides of mammals for making residing places-tents for you people

تَسْتَخِفُّونَـهَا يَوْمَ ظَعْنِكُـمْ وَيَوْمَ إِقَامَتِكُـمْۙ

  • These are characteristically such that you find them light in carrying during the day of journey, and the day of your sojourn/encampment.


وَمِنْ أَصْوَافِهَا وَأَوْبَارِهَا وَأَشْعَارِهَآ

  • And He the Exalted has rendered yield of their wool, and their fur and their hair

أَثَـٟثٙا وَمَتَٟعٙا إِلَـىٰ حِيـنٛ .16:80٨٠

  • As rich furnishings - durables and worldly provision, for a duration. [16:80]

وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَـكُـم مِّمَّا خَلَقَ ظِلَٟلٙا

  • Realize it, Allah the Exalted has rendered out of what He has created as shadows/shades for you people

وَجَعَلَ لَـكُـم مِّنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ أَكْنَٟنٙا

  • And He the Exalted has rendered some of the caves-cavities of the mountains as shelters for you people.

وَجَعَلَ لَـكُـمْ سَرَٟبِيلَ تَقِيكُـمُ ٱلْحَرَّ

  • And He the Exalted has rendered the garments for you people as preserving for you individually the heat - to protect you from heat.

وَسَرَٟبِيلَ تَقِيكُـم بَأْسَكُـمْۚ

  • And the garments that protect you individually from mutual hostility-offensive.

كَذَٟلِكَ يُتِـمُّ نِعْمَتَهُۥ عَلَيْكُـمْ

  • This is how He the Exalted completes His blessing upon you people

لَعَلَّـكُـمْ تُسْلِمُونَ .16:81٨١

  • May be realizing it you people submit. [16:81]

فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْبَلَٟغُ ٱلْمُبِيـنُ .16:82٨٢

  • However, if they purposely turned back reflective of their negative response: [then relax, they want to retain separate identity-2:137] You have done your duty since the explicit deliverance of the message to their ears and hands is the only responsibility upon you the Messenger. [16:82]

يَعْـرِفُونَ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ ثُـمَّ يُنكِرُونَـهَا

  • They recognize the blessing of Allah the Exalted. Afterwards-lapse of time they show indifference

وَأَكْثَرُهُـمُ ٱلْـكَـٟفِـرُونَ .16:83٨٣

  • While most of them are disavowers. [16:83]


وَيَوْمَ نَبْعَثُ مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٛ شَهِيدٙا

  • Know it, the Day when Our Majesty will appoint Messenger as prosecution witness from within every nation

ثُـمَّ لَا يُؤْذَنُ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَـرُوا۟

  • Afterwards, permission will not be granted for those who had persistently denied to accept

وَلَا هُـمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ .16:84٨٤

  • And nor their requests for making mends for pardon will be acceded. [16:84]

وَإِذَا رَءَا ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ

  • And when those who did wrong would have seen the infliction

فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْـهُـمْ

  • Thereafter, the awarded punishment shall not be lightened in severity away from them

وَلَا هُـمْ يُنظَرُونَ .16:85٨٥

  • Nor shall they have a moment of relief-reprieve.[16:85]

وَإِذَا رَءَا ٱلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا۟ شُرَكَآءَهُـمْ

  • And when those who had ascribed sculpted idols as partners saw their assigned partners

قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا هَٟٓـؤُلَآءِ شُرَكَآؤُنَا ٱلَّذِينَ كُنَّا نَدْعُوْا۟ مِن دُونِكَۖ

  • They said, "Our Sustainer Lord! these are our partners, these were that we used to call apart from You the Exalted."

فَألْقَوْا۟ إِلَيْـهِـمُ ٱلْقَوْلَ إِنَّكُـمْ لَـكَـٟذِبُونَ .16:86٨٦

  • In response they threw back their statement upon them stating, "You people are certainly liars." [16:86]

وَأَ لْقَوْا۟ إِلَـىٰ ٱللَّهِ يَوْمَئِذٛ ٱلسَّلَمَۖ

  • Know it, they submitted-pleaded Islam on that Day towards Allah the Exalted

وَضَلَّ عَنْـهُـم مَّا كَانُوا۟۟ يَفْـتَـرُونَ .16:87٨٧

  • And that lost-vanished from them what they used to artfully fabricate. [16:87]

ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَـرُوا۟ وَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ

  • Those who deliberately and persistently refused to accept and hindered-diverted people from the High road of Allah the Exalted

زِدْنَٟهُـمْ عَذَابٙا فَوْقَ ٱلْعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُوا۟۟ يُفْسِدُونَ .16:88٨٨

  • Our Majesty increased them in agony upon the agony for the reason they kept creating disturbance-disquiet-confusion in the society. [16:88]

وَيَوْمَ نَبْعَثُ فِـى كُلِّ أُمَّةٛ شَهِيدٙا عَلَيْـهِـم مِّنْ أَنفُسِهِـمْۖ

  • Beware of the Day when Our Majesty will resurrect a witness who was sent in every nation as Messenger; staunch monotheist amongst them, to testify upon them

وَجِئْنَا بِكَ شَهِيدٙا عَلَـىٰ هَٟٓـؤُلَآءِۚ

  • And We have brought you the Messenger [Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] as Witness upon these people.

وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْـكِـتَٟبَ تِبْيَٟنٙا لِّـكُلِّ شَـىْءٛ

  • And Our Majesty have intermittently-serially sent upon you the Messenger [Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] the Book (Qur’ān). It is exegetical - elucidatory for every concept

وَهُدٙى وَرَحْـمَةٙ وَبُشْـرَىٰ لِلْمُسْلِمِيـنَ .16:89٨٩

  • And it will serve as Guide, and Mercy-blessing, and heartening guarantee for the people who conduct their lives on prescribed procedure-pattern of life: Islam. [16:89]

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَأْمُـرُ بِٱلْعَدْلِ وَٱلْإِحْسَٟنِ

  • Indeed Allah the Exalted commands to do justice, and to maintain equity, dynamic balance, harmony and pleasantness in society

وَإِيتَآىءِذِى ٱلْقُـرْبَـىٰ

  • And for giving gifts to the relatives of nearness

وَيَنْـهَىٰ عَنِ ٱلْفَحْشَاءِ وَٱلْمُنكَرِ وَٱلْبَغْىِۚ

  • And He the Exalted forbids: indulgence in sexual perversion-obsession-illicit sex activity; and in conjectural innovations-deceits-deviations-unfamiliar, unauthentic and unverifiable myths; and forbids committing excesses without permissible justification/cause.

يَعِظُـكُـمْ لَعَلَّـكُـمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ .16:90٩٠

  • He the Exalted advises you people so that you people remember and make it your habit. [16:90]

وَأَوْفُوا۟ بِعَهْدِ ٱللَّهِ إِذَا عَٟهَدتُّـمْ

  • Take note, you people fulfill your obligation of the Contract of Allah the Exalted when you have bilaterally committed-undertook it

وَلَا تَنقُضُوا۟ ٱلۡأَيْمَٟنَ بَعْدَ تَوْكِيدِهَا

  • And you people should not disown-disavow the oaths after its confirmation

وَقَدْ جَعَلْتُـمُ ٱللَّهَ عَلَيْكُـمْ كَفِيلٙاۚ

  • While you people have indeed declared Allah the Exalted upon you as surety.

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ .16:91٩١

  • Indeed Allah the Exalted fully knows what acts you people do for the first time/innovatively. [16:91]

وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّتِـى نَقَضَتْ غَزْلَـهَا مِنۢ بَعْدِ قُوَّةٛ أَنكَـٟثٙا

  • And you people should not become like that woman who broke-untwisted her spun yarn after having been strengthened, rendering it broken strands

تَتَّخِذُونَ أَيْمَٟنَكُـمْ دَخَلَاۢ بَيْنَكُـمْ أَن تَكُونَ أُمَّةٌ هِىَ أَرْبَـىٰ مِنْ أُمَّةٛۚ

  • While you people adopt your oaths as tool of deception in society aiming that certain community might become superior community relegating another.

إِنَّمَا يَبْلُوكُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦۚ

  • By such varying positions Allah the Exalted only subjects you people to a trial for exposure of your true worth.

وَلَيُبَيِّـنَنَّ لَـكُـمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٟمَةِ مَا كُنتُـمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ .16:92٩٢

  • And He the Exalted will certainly make it evident for you people on the Day of Rising about that in which you people kept differing. [16:92]

وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَجَعَلَـكُـمْ أُمَّةٙ وَٟحِدَةٙ

  • [to differ is the right and prerogative granted to man] However, if Allah the Exalted had so decided, He would have certainly made you all one harmonious unit.

وَلـٰكِن يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَـهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُۚ

  • But the prevalent principle is that He the Exalted lets and exposes him straying about whom He so decides; and He guides  him about whom He so decides.

وَلَتُسْـٔ​َلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنتُـمْ تَعْمَلُونَ .16:93٩٣

  • Beware, you people will certainly be subjected to accountability about what you people kept doing. [16:93]

وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوٓا۟ أَيْمَٟنَكُـمْ دَخَلَاۢ بَيْنَكُـمْ فَتَزِلَّ قَدَمُۢ بَعْدَ ثُبُوتِـهَا

  • Take note, you people should not purposely employ your scholarly authority to intellectually corrupt-confuse the society; thereby some foot might slip after it had firmly established on the straight path

وَتَذُوقُوا۟ ٱلْسُّوٓءَ بِمَا صَدَدتُّـمْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۖ

  • And you may have to suffer agony for having hindered-diverted people from the High road of Allah the Exalted

وَلَـكُـمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيـمٚ .16:94٩٤

  • And a great punishment might become due for you people. [16:94]

وَلَا تَشْتَـرُوا۟ بِعَهْدِ ٱللَّهِ ثَمَنٙا قَلِيلٙاۚ

  • And you people (learned men - scholars - religious elite) should not indulge in business with Allah's Covenant for a trifling price/gain.

إِنَّمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ هُوَ خَيْـرٚ لَّـكُـمْ

  • Fact remains, that which is bestowed by the grace of Allah the Exalted is far better for you people

إِن كُنتُـمْ تَعْلَمُونَ .16:95٩٥

  • Should you people intend to understand/know it (you could avoid above business). [16:95]

مَا عِندَكُمْ يَنفَدُۖ

  • That what is with you people it will exhaust

وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ بَاقٛۗ

  • And that which is by the grace of Allah the Exalted, it shall persist

وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ صَبَـرُوٓا۟ أَجْرَهُـم بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا۟۟ يَعْمَلُونَ .16:96٩٦

  • And of course Our Majesty will pay those; their reward most appropriate for what they had been doing, who exercised patience remaining firmly committed. [16:96]

مَنْ عَمِلَ صَٟلِحٙا مِّن ذَكَرٛ أَوْ أُنثَـىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٚ

  • Whoever performed acts of good import/moderate deeds, whether be a male or a female, but provided he or she is a true believer

فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُۥ حَيَوٰةٙ طَيِّبَةٙۖ

  • Thereby Our Majesty will certainly make him live [with guidance by Qur’ān in every moment] a pure benefiting enduring life void of conjectures

وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّـهُـمْ أَجْرَهُـم بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا۟۟ يَعْمَلُونَ .16:97٩٧

  • And of course Our Majesty will grant them their reward most appropriate for what they had been doing.  [16:97]

فَإِذَا قَرَأْتَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ

  • Therefore, subject to you having finished reading the Qur’ān: [have known the conduct of pure life]

فَٱسْتَعِذْ بِٱللَّهِ مِنَ ٱلشَّيْطَٟنِ ٱلرَّجِيـمِ .16:98٩٨

  • Thereafter, for reason you must self assign the task, make it your habit, of seeking protection of Allah the Exalted from the influence of discarded and condemned Shai'taan.  [16:98]

إِنَّهُۥ لَيْسَ لَهُۥ سُلْطَٟنٌ عَلَـىٰ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟

  • [It is a protective measure otherwise] Indeed, he is the one for whom there is absolutely no authority/ dominating influence over those who have accepted/believed

  • اس (شیطان)کے متعلق حقیقت یہ ہے۔۔کوئی اختیار،مختار نامہ،سند کا اظہار کرنا ان لوگوں پر جو صدق دل سے ایمان لائے اس کے لئے کبھی ممکن نہیں ہو گا  ۔

وَعَلَـىٰ رَبِّـهِـمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ .16:99٩٩

  • And they have trust and hope in their Sustainer Lord. [16:99]

  • ۔اور وہ لوگ اپنے رب پر مکمل اعتماد اور بھروسہ رکھتے ہیں ہر معاملے کے انجام کے لئے۔

إِنَّمَا سُلْطَٟنُهُۥ عَلَـىٰ ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَوَلَّوْنَهُۥ

  • He only has dominant influence upon those who purposely keep self turning to him in alliance

  • ۔اس کا اثر و رسوخ صرف ان پر غالب آتا ہے جو ازخود زیر مقصد اس کی جانب پلٹتے رہتے ہیں۔

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُـم بِهِۦ مُشْـرِكُونَ .16:100١٠٠

  • And those who are with him the partners [brothers acting and doing like him] [16:100]

  • ۔اور ان پراثر انگیز ہوتا ہے جو اس کے ساتھ  کسی بھی وقت   من گھڑت فلسفہ شراکت میں اشتراک کرتے ہیں۔


وَإِذَا بَدَّلْنَآ ءَايَةٙ مَّكَانَ ءَايَةٛۙ

  • And when Our Majesty changed-shifted the textual location of an Ayah to location of another Ayah

وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُنَزِّلُ

  • -- While Allah the Exalted fully knows about that which He the Exalted is gradually revealing --

قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُفْتَـرِۭۚ

  • They the non believing ruling elite alleged:  "You [Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam ] are indeed one who diligently manipulates-redrafts the text".

بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُـمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ .16:101١٠١

  • No, you have not sequenced-redrafted-organized it, but the fact is that most of them know not (how a book is composed). [16:101]

قُلْ نَزَّلَهُۥ رُوحُ ٱلْقُدُسِ مِن رَّبِّكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ

  • You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] pronounce that the trusted executor of vital command: Gib'rei'l [alai'his'slaam] has communicated it (Qur’ān) successively and intermittently from your Sustainer Lord as infallible discourse.

لِيُثَبِّتَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟

  • The objective is that it might keep them a firm fraternity who have believed.

وَهُدٙى وَبُشْـرَىٰ لِلْمُسْلِمِيـنَ .16:102١٠٢

  • And it is guidance: regulatory information for aright conduct and guarantee of good news for the people who conduct on prescribed procedure-pattern of life [Islam after believing]. [16:102]

وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّـهُـمْ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّمَا يُعَلِّمُهُۥ بَشَـرٚۗ

  • And We are certainly aware of their habit that they the elite say to people: "Factually only a person teaches him (Muhammad [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam]) the Qur’ān."

لِّسَانُ ٱلَّذِى يُلْحِدُونَ إِلَيْهِ أَعْجَمِىّٚ

  • The language of the person, whom they dishonestly and unscrupulously keep referring as the person who teaches him (Qur’ān), is non-Arab: inexplicit language 

وَهَـٰذَا لِسَانٌ عَـرَبِـىّٚ مُّبِيـنٌ .16:103١٠٣

  • While this language is Arabic: rich, clear, perspicuous and eloquent language of Arabian Peninsula characteristically explicit: conveyor of information in succinct, individuated, distinct and crystallized manner. [16:103]

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِـٔ​َايَـٟتِ ٱللَّهِ لَا يَـهْدِيـهِـمُ ٱللَّهُ

  • Know the fact that Allah the Exalted guides not those who deliberately believe not the Aa'ya'at: Verbal Passages of the Book of Allah the Exalted.

وَلَـهُـمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيـمٌ .16:104١٠٤

  • Beware, a severe punishment is prepared-in wait for them. [16:104]

إِنَّمَا يَفْتَـرِى ٱلْـكَذِبَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِـٔ​َايَـٟتِ ٱللَّهِۖ

  • Only those conjecturally fabricate the falsehood who do not believe in the Aa'ya'at: Verbal passages of the Book of Allah the Exalted

وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُـمُ ٱلْـكَـٟذِبُونَ .16:105١٠٥

  • And they are the people who are truly the liars. [16:105]

مَن كَفَـرَ بِٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ إيمَٟنِهِۦٓ إِلَّا مَنْ أُكْرِهَ وَقَلْبُـهُۥ مُطْمَئِنُّۢ بِٱلْإِيمَٟنِ

  • Remain cognizant; whoever denied belief in Allah the Exalted after his belief only because he was forced to pronounce denial, while his heart is satisfactorily content with belief, he is not liable to criminal cognizance

  • ۔متنبہ رہو؛اگر کسی شخص نے اللہ تعالیٰ کے موجود ہونے کا انکار کر دیا  اپنے ایمان لانے کے بعد کے دور میں تو اپنے آپ کو مجرم بنانے کی راہ پر چل پڑا؛اس بات کا اطلاق اس شخص پر نہیں ہے جسے زبان سے اس انکار پر مجبور کت دیا گیا جبکہ اس کا قلب اپنے ایمان کی صداقت پر مطمئن تھا۔

Root: ك ر ه;  ط م ن

وَلَـٰكِن مَّن شَرَحَ بِالْـكُـفْـرِ صَدْرٙا فَعَلَيْـهِـمْ غَضَبٚ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ

  • But he who opened up his chest for disbelief-plunged it into darkness, thereby, criminal cognizance by Allah the Exalted has become liable upon such people.

  • ۔لیکن اگرکسی نے اپنے سینے کو کفر کے لئے کھول دیا تو اللہ تعالیٰ کی جانب سے گرفت میں لیئے جاناان پر صادر ہو جائے گا۔

Root: ش ر ح

وَلَـهُـمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيـمٚ .١٠٦

  • And a severe punishment is prepared-in wait for them. [16:106]

  • جان لیں ایک بڑا عذاب  جو ان کی ہڈیوں میں سرایت کرے گااُن کیلئے تیار اور منتظر ہے  (غذایت کی کمی)۔

ذَٟلِكَ بِأَنَّـهُـمُ ٱسْتَحَبُّوا۟ ٱلْحَـيَوٰةَ ٱلْدُّنْيَا عَلَـىٰ ٱلۡءَاخِـرَةِ

  • Such behaviour is because they have purposely loved the worldly life in preference over the Hereafter

وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَـهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْـكَـٟفِرِينَ .16:107١٠٧

  • And that indeed Allah the Exalted does not guide [against their own will-considered decision] the people who have refused to accept.  [16:107]

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَـىٰ قُلُوبِـهِـمْ وَسَـمْعِهِـمْ وَأَبْصَٟرِهِـمْۖ

  • They the rejecters are the people, Allah the Exalted has impressed the epilogue-sealed the wraps upon their hearts-intellectual consciousness, and upon their faculty of listening and their faculties of observation

وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُـمُ ٱلْغَٟفِلُونَ .16:108١٠٨

  • And they are truly the people who are wilfully, heedlessly negligent. [16:108]

لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّـهُـمْ فِـى ٱلۡءَاخِـرَةِ هُـمُ ٱلْخَٟسِـرونَ .16:109١٠٩

  • There is absolutely no doubt that they are the people who will certainly be the worst losers perishing in the Hereafter. [16:109]

ثُـمَّ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا فُتِنُوا۟

  • Your Sustainer Lord provided shelter for those who had migrated afterwards having faced liquefying troubles

ثُـمَّ جَٟهَدُوا۟ وَصَبَـرُوٓا۟

  • Afterwards migration, they have exerted utmost in the cause of Allah the Exalted, and patiently remained firm

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهَا لَغَفُورٚ رَّحِـيـمٚ .16:110١١٠

  • Surely, upon such migration-conduct, your Sustainer Lord is certainly the Most Forgiving and Merciful. [16:110]

يَوْمَ تَأْتِـى كُلُّ نَفْسٛ تُجَٟدِلُ عَن نَّفْسِهَا

  • Be mindful of the Day, every person will come pleading for its own self

وَتُوَفَّـىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٛ مَّا عَمِلَتْ

  • And everyone will be dealt with-adjudged-paid back what he had done

وَهُـمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ .16:111١١١

  • While dispensing justice, they are not subjected to even an iota of disproportion. [16:111]

وَضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلٙا قَرْيَةٙ كَانَتْ ءَامِنَةٙ مُّطْمَئِنَّةٙ

  • Know it; Allah the Exalted has struck the example of a community; she was securely peaceful, and quite happy and satisfied

يَأْتِيـهَا رِزْقُهَا رَغَدٙا مِّن كُلِّ مَكَانٛ

  • Its Sustenance-economic stability was contributed from every place that rendered her flourishing in abundance.

فَكَفَـرَتْ بِأَنْعُمِ ٱللَّهِ 

  • Then she ungratefully disavowed regards the blessings of Allah the Exalted.

فَأَذَٟقَهَا ٱللَّهُ لِبَاسَ ٱلْجُوعِ وَٱلْخَوْفِ

  • Thereby, Allah the Exalted caused them to experience the garb/veil of all pervasive economic recession - food shortage and fear of insecurity-collapse of law and order situation.

بِمَا كَانُوا۟۟ يَصْنَعُونَ .16:112١١٢

  • This upshot was for that which they kept artfully fabricating false conjectural myths to mislead people. [16:112]

وَلَقَدْ جَآءَهُـمْ رَسُولٚ مِّنْـهُـمْ

  • And indeed the Messenger, a staunch monotheist believer amongst them, had come to them

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُـمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ

  • Responding him, they publicly contradicted him; thereby, certain affliction seized them

وَهُـمْ ظَٟلِمُونَ .16:113١١٣

  • While they were still evil mongers-conjecturers-distorters of realities and equations-the falsifiers  [16:113]

فَكُلُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُـمُ ٱللَّهُ حَلَـٰلٙا طَيِّبٙا

  • Therefore remaining mindful of just quoted example, you people eat out of the sustenance that Allah the Exalted has granted you; that which is declared lawful, characteristically pleasantly nutritious for you, respectively;

وَٱشْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ

  • And express gratitude, hide not the blessing of Allah the Exalted:

إِن كُنتُـمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ .16:114١١٤

  • If you people are genuinely subservient to Him the Exalted, exclusively. [16:114]

إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُـمُ ٱلْمَيْتَةَ وَٱلدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ ٱلْخَنْزِيرِ

  • He the Exalted has forbidden upon you people specifically the dead corpse-mammal who has died a natural death, and the [flowing liquid] blood, and the meat of swine - pig flesh

وَمَآ أُهِلَّ لِغَيْـرِ ٱللَّهِ بِهِۦۖ

  • And that mammal which was slaughtered pronouncing the name of someone other than, or associating with Allah the Exalted someone else.

فَمَنِ ٱضْطُرَّ غَيْـرَ بَاغٛ وَلَا عَادٛ

  • However, for desperate reason of quiver-shudder [because of extreme hunger 5:03], one will not be held guilty of sin for eating any of the forbidden things provided he had no urge and liking for it, and further, that he transgresses not the limit of relieving the quiver/shudder from hunger.

فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٚ رَّحِـيـمٚ .16:115١١٥

  • Relief is allowed since Allah the Exalted is indeed Oft-forgiving-overlooking, the Merciful. [16:115]

وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟ لِمَا تَصِفُ أَ لْسِنَتُكُـمُ ٱلْـكَذِبَ هَـٰذَا حَلَٟلٚ وَهَـٰذَا حَرَامٚ

  • And you people should not say what your tongues fabricate the falsehood, "This is permissible and this is prohibited",

لِّتَفْتَـرُوا۟ عَلَـىٰ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْـكَذِبَۚ

  • Lest you people might conjecture a false statement attributing to Allah the Exalted.

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَفْـتَـرُونَ عَلَـىٰ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْـكَذِبَ لَا يُفْلِحُونَ .16:116١١٦

  • Indeed those, who conjecture false statements attributing to Allah the Exalted, will never attain prosperous success-salvation at the end. [16:116]

مَتَـٟـعٚ قَلِيلٚ

  • What they earn by such conjectures is in fact a meagre worldly sustenance and source of enjoyment for them.

وَلَـهُـمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيـمٚ .16:117١١٧

  • Be mindful, a severe punishment is prepared-in wait for them. [16:117]

وَعَلَـىٰ ٱلَّذِينَ هَادُوا۟ حَرَّمْنَا مَا قَصَصْنَا عَلَيْكَ مِن قَبْلُۖ

  • And Our Majesty had forbidden what We have narrated to you in detail earlier upon those who followed Judaism-the Jews.

وَمَا ظَلَمْنَٟهُـمْ وَلَـٰكِن كَانُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُـمْ يَظْلِمُونَ .١١٨

  • And Our Majesty did no injustice to them, in fact they kept doing injustice and harm to their selves. [16:118]

  • جان لو،ہم جناب نے ان کے ساتھ  زیادتی نہیں کی، بلکہ وہ خود اپنے  نفوس پرزیادتی کرنے کے مرتکب ہوتے رہے۔

ثُـمَّ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِينَ عَمِلُوا۟ ٱلسُّوٓءَ بِجَهَٟلَةٛ

  • Afterwards, your Sustainer Lord is considerate affording an opportunity for those who did a volitional act of evil import-illicit sex in a situation of spur/dominating influence of passion

  • ۔بعد ازاں ایک  برےفعل کے مرتکب ہونے کے آپ (ﷺ) کے رب ان لوگوں کو موقع دیتے ہیں جنہوں نے جذبات کی شورش سے مغلوب ہو کر برا عمل کر دیا ہے۔

ثُـمَّ تَابُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٟلِكَ وَأَصْلَحُوٓا۟

  • Thereafter, having committed evil  act, they repented feeling guilty, and henceforth mended and perfected their conduct.

  • ۔بعد ازاں ،اس عمل کو انجام دینے کے بعد، جذبات کے دائرے سے نکل کو عقل و خرد کی دنیا میں پشیمانی اور ندامت محسوس کرتے ہوئے پلٹ آئے۔اور انہوں نے آئندہ کے لئے اپنی اصلاح کر لی۔

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهَا لَغَفُورٚ رَّحِـيـمٌ .16:119١١٩

  • Surely, upon such repentance and modification of conduct towards perfection/reason, your Sustainer Lord is certainly the Most Forgiving and Merciful. [16:119]

  • ۔یہ حقیقت ہے کہ آپ(ﷺ)کے رب ان ذہنی و فکری اورطرز عمل کی تبدیلیوں کے بعد لامحالہ درگزر اور پردہ پوشی کرتے ہوئے معاف فرمانے والے ہیں؛ وہ جناب منبع رحمت ہیں، تمام فیصلے رحمت کی چھاؤں میں فرماتے ہیں۔


إِنَّ إِبْرَٟهِيـمَ كَانَ أُمَّةٙ قَانِتٙا لِّلَّهِ حَنِيفٙا

  • Indeed, Iebra'heim [alai'his'slaam] was a personification of a system established for Allah the Exalted; he remained steadfast for Allah the Exalted, he was persistently and perpetually a staunch monotheist

وَلَمْ يَكُ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْـرِكِيـنَ .16:120١٢٠

  • And he was never considered and identified as member of idol-worshippers of his times [16:120]

شَاكِرٙا لِأَنْعُمِهِۚ

  • He was obliged and grateful for the favours and grants of Him the Exalted

ٱجْتَبَٟهُ وَهَدَىٰـهُ إِلَـىٰ صِرَٟطٛ مُّسْتَقِيـمٛ .16:121١٢١

  • He the Exalted had chosen and elevated him; and had guided him on the High Road: Course that keeps heading safely and stably to the destination of peace and tranquillity. [16:121]

وَءَاتَيْنَـٟهُ فِـى ٱلْدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٙۖ

  • And Our Majesty gave him appropriately balanced good in this worldly life

وَإِنَّهُۥ فِـى ٱلۡءَاخِـرَةِ لَمِنَ ٱلصَّٟلِحِيـنَ .16:122١٢٢

  • And indeed, in the Hereafter, he is certainly in the ranks of the Righteous. [16:122]

ثُـمَّ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ أَنِ ٱتَّبِــعْ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَٟهِيـمَ حَنِيفٙاۖ

  • Afterwards, Our Majesty have verbally conveyed you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] that you keep following the way of life/community of Iebra'heim [alai'his'slaam], incessantly as monotheist believer, Sincere, Ever Upright, Perpetually a Muslim

وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْـرِكِيـنَ .16:123١٢٣

  • And be mindful, he-Iebra'heim [alai'his'slaam] was never considered and identified as member of the Idolaters of his times. [16:123]

إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ ٱلسَّبْتُ عَلَـىٰ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ فِيهِۚ

  • Indeed they mutually differed in its observance upon whom Sabat: day of restrain from commercial activity was prescribed as their trial.

  • سبت،معاش کے لئے شکار سے ممانعت کا دن قرار دینا محض ان لوگوں کے ایک آزمائش تھی جنہوں نے اس میں اختلاف کیا۔

اصحاب سبت

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَيَحْكُـمُ بَيْنَـهُـمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٟمَةِ

  • And indeed your Sustainer Lord will certainly judge between them, on the Day of Rising

  • اور یقیناً آپ(ﷺ)کے رب ان لوگوں کے مابین  یوم قیامت کوانجام کا فیصلہ سنا دیں گے

فِيمَا كَانُوا۟۟ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ .16:124١٢٤

  • Regarding the issue about which they kept differing/opposing. [16:124]

  • اس حکم کے حوالے سے جس میں وہ باہمی طور پر اختلاف کرتے رہے۔(۱۲۴)۔

ٱدْعُ إِلَـىٰ سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِٱلْحِكْمَةِ وَٱلْمَوْعِظَةِ ٱلْحَسَنَةِۖ

  • You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] invite people towards the High Road of your Sustainer Lord with highest degree of adequacy in given circumstances, and by the most appropriate lovingly advice

  • ۔آپ(ﷺ)اپنے رب کے راستے کی جانب آنے کی لوگوں کو دعوت دیتے رہیں؛مخاطب کےبرمحل عقل و دانش کو بروئے کار لاتے ہوئے اور انتہائی متوازن نصیحت کرتے ہوئے۔

Root: و ع ظ

وَجَٟدِلْـهُـم بِٱلَّتِـى هِىَ أَحْسَنُۚ

  • And argue with them by such argument that is balanced, appropriate and relevant to situation, with regard to persuasive effect.

  • ۔اور آپ (ﷺ)اُن سے اس انداز میں مکالمہ کریں جو موقع محل کے  لئےانتہائی مناسب ہے،اثر پذیری کے حوالے سے۔

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦۖ

  • Indeed your Sustainer Lord is He Who knows the one who has lost away from His Path

  • ۔یقینا آپ (ﷺ) کے رب ہی ہیں جو ہر اس  شخص کو بخوبی جانتے ہیں جو ان کے  مقرر کردہ راستے/طرز عمل سے منحرف ہو گیا ہے۔

وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ .١٢٥

  • And He the Exalted absolutely knows them who are consciously guiding their selves aright.  [16:125]

  • ۔اور وہ  جناب  ان کوبھی بخوبی جانتے ہیں جو خلوص سے راہ ہدایت پر  اپنے آپ کوگامزن رکھتے                             ہیں۔

وَإِنْ عَاقَبْتُـمْ فَعَاقِبُوا۟ بِمِثْلِ مَا عُوقِبْتُـم بِهِۦۖ

  • Take note, if you people have intended retaliating - to take revenge, thereby, you people are directed to restrict the revenge resembling proportionately to what you were afflicted with.

وَلَئِن صَبَـرْتُـمْ لَـهُوَ خَيْـرٚ لِّلصَّٟبِـرينَ .16:126١٢٦

  • But if you people have exercised patience and decided not to take revenge, indeed that is far better a course for the coolly perseverant people. [16:126]

وَٱصْبِـرْ وَمَا صَبْـرُكَ إِلَّا بِٱللَّهِۚ

  • And you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] remain coolly perseverant-consistently steadfast enduring all odds; and your endurance is sustained only with confidence and hope of help and protection of Allah the Exalted

وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْـهِـمْ

  • And you should not grieve for them about their awful end for non believing

وَلَا تَكُ فِـى ضَيْقٛ مِّمَّا يَمْكُـرُونَ .16:127١٢٧

  • Further, you should not place yourself in distress and disquiet because of deceptions, tricks, and conspiracies they devise. [16:127]

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوا۟

  • Indeed, Allah the Exalted is with those who sincerely endeavoured to attain salvation

وَّٱلَّذِينَ هُـم مُّحْسِنُونَ .16:128١٢٨

  • And those are the maintainers of generosity, equilibrium and balanced approach/conduct. [16:128]

17- سُوۡرَةُ الإسراء


سُبْحَٟنَ ٱلَّذِى أَسْرَىٰ بِعَبْدِهِۦ لَيْلٙا

  • The Infinitely Glorious, Allah the Exalted, is the focus of all effort. He the Exalted had arranged the travel carrying His sincere Allegiant (Muhammad [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam) for journey; during some part of night

  • تمام کبریائی ان کے لئے،اور تمام کوششوں کا وہ محور ہیں جنہوں نے اپنے بندے(محمّد ﷺ)کورات  کے چند لمحات میں سفر کرنے کا انتظام فرمایا۔

Root: س ر ى  The corporeal Journey far beyond the ascensions of Earthly Universe

تحلیل نحوی و صرفی:تشریح معنوی و مفہوم،بلاغت

مِّنَ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ

  • The journey began from within Al Masjid al Haramthe Sacred Mosque, around Ka'aba in Mecca

  • ۔اس سفر کا آغاز   مکہ مکرمہ میں واقع  عظمت وتحریم یافتہ مسجد(المسجد الحرام )میں سے کیا گیا۔

إِلَـىٰ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلۡأَقْصَا

  • The route of journey was towards the Extreme Distant Altitude Mosque

  • ۔اس سفر کااختیار کردہ راستہ(route)تمام مساجد کی نسبت  اور مقابل انتہائی دوردراز بلند ترین مسجد کی جانب تھا۔

ٱلَّذِى بَٟرَكْنَا حَوْلَهُۥ

  • That Mosque is the One whose surroundings Our Majesty have perpetuated and blessed

  • ۔یہ وہ مسجد ہے جس کے ارد گرد کے ماحول کو ہم جناب نے ثبات و دوام اور صاحب خیر و برکت بنایا ہے۔

لِنُرِيَهُ مِنْ ءَايَٟتِنَآۚ

  • The purpose of ascending him (Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam) was that Our Majesty show him visually the greatest Existent in the Miscellany of Our Existents-Physical realm (For elided second object of verb see 53:18).

  • ۔اس بلندی کی جانب سفر کا مقصد یہ تھا کہ ہم جناب  حقیقت کی نشاندہی کرنے والی اپنی مرئی نشانیوں میں سے سب سے بڑی نشانی انہیں دکھائیں۔(محذوف مفعول ثانی کے لئے النجم کی آیت ۱۸ دیکھیں)

إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلبَصِيـرُ .17:01١

  • This is a fact that He the Exalted is the One Who is eternally the Hearer [of what is said, at whatever frequency] and the Observer, everything/act is in His focus. [17:01]

  • ۔یہ حقیقت ہے کہ وہ جناب ہی ہیں جو ہر لمحہ ہر آواز/صوت کو بغور سننے والے ہیں،ہر لمحہ ہر شئے کو احاطہ بصارت میں رکھنے والے ہیں۔


وَءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَـى ٱلْـكِـتَٟبَ وَجَعَلْنَٟهُ هُدٙى لِّبَنِـىٓ إِسْرَٟٓءِيلَ

  • Know it, Our Majesty gave Mūsā  [alai'his'slaam] the Book and We rendered it as guide for Bani Iesraa'eel:

أَ لَّا تَتَّخِذُوا۟ مِن دُونِـى وَكِيلٙا .17:02٢

  • By advising them: "you people should not adopt, apart from Me, anyone as trustee, protector and disposer of affairs [17:02]

ذُرِّيَّةَ مَنْ حَـمَلْنَا مَعَ نُوحٛۚ

  • O you the progeny of him whom Our Majesty uploaded in the ship along with Noah [alai'his'slaam]".

إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَبْدٙا شَكُورٙا .17:03٣

  • It is a fact that he, Noah [alai'his'slaam], was persistently a thankful sincere allegiant. [17:03]

وَقَضَيْنَآ إِلَـىٰ بَنِـىٓ إِسْرَٟٓءِيلَ فِـى ٱلْـكِـتَٟبِ لَتُفْسِدُنَّ فِـى ٱلۡأَرْضِ مَـرَّتَيْـنِ

  • And Our Majesty unambiguously pronounced the fact to Bani Iesraa'eel in the Book, "Certainly, you people will create disturbance and imbalance in the Earth, for creating chaos on two occasions

وَلَتَعْلُنَّ عُلُوّٙا كَبِيـرٙا .17:04٤

  • And you will surely be haughty, extreme haughtiness [for which you will be punished]". [17:04]

فَإِذَا جَآءَ وَعْدُ أُولَىٰـهُمَا بَعَثْنَا عَلَيْكُـمْ عِبَادٙا لَّنَآ أُو۟لِـى بَأْسٛ شَدِيدٛ فَجَاسُوا۟ خِلَٟلَ ٱلدِّيَارِۚ

  • Accordingly, when the time of executing promise for first of the two occasions reached, Our Majesty appointed-raised upon you/Bani Iesraa'eel Our selected servants, men of  military might, thereby they entered the innermost of your dwellings

وَكَانَ وَعْدٙا مَّفْعُولٙا .17:05٥

  • And taking matters to logical conclusion has been the promise that stands fulfilled- accomplished. [17:05]

ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَا لَـكُـمُ ٱلْـكَـرَّةَ عَلَيْـهِـمْ

  • After a lapse of time, Our Majesty revived for you the position over them

وَأَمْدَدْنَـٰكُـم بِأَمْوَٟلٛ وَبَنِيـنَ

  • And Our Majesty reinforced you with wealth and sons

وَجَعَلْنَـٟكُـمْ أَكْثَرَ نَفِيـرٙا .17:06٦

  • And Our Majesty rendered you numerous, demographically. [17:06]

إِنْ أَحْسَنتُـمْ أَحْسَنتُـمْ لِأَنفُسِكُـمْۖ  وَإِنْ أَسَأْتُـمْ فَلَـهَاۚ

  • [And prescribed] "If you acted modestly, gracefully and generously you would have done it for your own selves, and if you people did evil, thereby, you will have to suffer its effect."

فَإِذَا جَآءَ وَعْدُ ٱلۡءَاخِـرَةِ

  • Eventually, when the time of second of the two promised occasions reached

لِيَسُـــُٔووا۟ۥٓ وُجُوهَكُـمْ وَلِيَدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا دَخَلُوهُ أَوَّلَ مَـرَّةٛ

  • Our Majesty appointed those mighty ones so that they may depress and sadden your faces, and so that they may enter the Mosque just as they had entered on the first occasion

وَلِيُتَبِّـرُوا۟ مَا عَلَوْا۟ تَتْبِيـرٙا .17:07٧

  • And so that they smash what they had conquered, quite destructively. [17:07]

عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُـمْ أَن يَرْحَـمَكُـمْۚ

  • May be that your Sustainer Lord have mercy upon you people

وَإِنْ عُدتُّـمْ عُدْنَاۘ

  • But if you people will have done it again, We will have repeated it.

وَجَعَلْنَا جَهَنَّـمَ لِلْـكَـٟفِرِينَ حَصِيـرٙا .17:08٨

  • Beware, Our Majesty have rendered Hell as a Prison-Jail-Dungeon for those who disavowed. [17:08]

إِنَّ هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ يَـهْدِى لِلَّتِـى هِىَ أَقْوَمُ

  • Indeed, this Qur’ān guides for the way which is the most sustaining

وَيُبَشِّـرُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِيـنَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ ٱلصَّٟلِحَـٟتِ

  • And it (Qur’ān) guarantees pleasant news to those believers who perform-conduct righteous deeds mentioned therein

أَنَّ لَـهُـمْ أَجْرٙا كَبِيـرٙا .17:09٩

  • That a great reward is in wait for them. [17:09]

وأَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلۡۡۡءَا خِـرَةِ

  • And that those who do not accept-believe in the Hereafter

أَعْتَدْنَا لَـهُـمْ عَذَابٙا أَلِيـمٙا .17:10١٠

  • Our Majesty have prepared/kept ready for them a painful torment. [17:10]


وَيَدْعُ ٱلْإِنسَٟنُ بِٱلشَّـرِّ دُعَآءَهُۥ بِٱلْخَيْـرِۖ

  • Notice the behaviour, man generally calls for what is the liquefying trouble when he seeks what he considers is best for him

وَكَانَ ٱلْإِنسَٟنُ عَجُولٙا .17:11١١

  • And the man has generally been acting in haste for immediate gains. [17:11]

وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلَّيلَ وَٱلنَّـهَارَ ءَايَتَيْـنِۖ

  • And Our Majesty have rendered the Night and the Day as two symbols-signs-physical realities-reckonings.

فَمَحَوْنَآ ءَايَةَ ٱلَّيلِ

  • Therefore, for reckoning, We have obscured -blotted out the symbol of Night

وَجَعَلْنَآ ءَايَةَ ٱلنَّـهَارِ مُبْصِرَةٙ

  • And Our Majesty have assigned the symbol-reckoning of the Day by rendering it illuminant, observing, spectator, that makes itself perceptible to: the faculty of observation.

لِتَبْتَغُوا۟ فَضْلٙا مِّن رَّبِّكُـمْ

  • The purpose of making the day illuminant is that you people might engage in the pursuit of sustenance-livelihood from your Sustainer Lord

وَلِتَعْلَمُوا۟ عَدَدَ ٱلسِّنِيـنَ وَٱلْحِسَابَۚ

  • And so that with these two educatory manifestations you people might reckon-know the count-number of the solar years and other calculations, equations and assessments.

وَكُلَّ شَـىْءٛ فَصَّلْنَٟهُ تَفْصِيلٙا .17:12١٢

  • Observe; Our Majesty have made each physical-material reality as vividly distinct: demarcated-isolated-alienated-crystal clear, in classification manner: each is an isolated enclave quite distinct from another. [17:12]

وَكُلَّ إِنْسَانٛ أَ لْزَمْنَٟهُ طَـٟٓئِرَهُۥ فِـى عُنُقِهِۦۖ

  • Every human of free-will is bound by his deeds. Our Majesty has permanently tied in his neck all hollow deeds of ill result as accusation/charge sheet

  • ۔ہر صاحب حریت انسان اپنے اعمال کا مقید ہے۔ہم جناب نے اس کے لئے  برانتیجہ بننے والے کھوکھلے اعمال کو اس کی گردن میں   مستقل الزام/فردجرم کے طور باندھ دیا ہے۔

وَنُخْرِجُ لَهُۥ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٟمَةِ كِتَٟبٙا يَلْقَىٰهُ مَنْشُورٙا .17:13١٣

  • And Our Majesty will bring it out in writing-print out for him on the Day of Rising which he would see openly [and will be asked]; [17:13]

  • ۔اور ہم جناب یوم قیامت اس فرد جرم کو اس کے مطالعہ کےلئے تحریری کتاب کے طور نکال دیں گے۔وہ اس کتاب کو کھلے اوراق میں اپنی آنکھوں کے سامنے پائے گا۔

ٱقْرَأْ كِتَٟبَكَ

  • He will be asked; "You read your book - biography

  • اس سے کہا جائے گا:تو اپنے متعلق کتاب/سوانح کو پڑھ۔

Root: ق ر ء

كَفَىٰ بِنَفْسِكَ ٱلْيَوْمَ عَلَيْكَ حَسِيبٙا .17:14١٤

  • Today, you suffice to take account for yourself as accountability judge." [17:14]

  • ۔آج کے دن یقیناً خود تیری ذات اپنے آپ پرمحتسب کے طور کافی ہے"۔

مَّنِ ٱهْتَدَىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَـهْتَدى لِنَفْسِهِۦۖ

  • (The Qur’ān having reached to him) Whoever endeavoured getting aright guided, thereby he is guiding-leading on the way only for his own self.

  • (جان لو) جس کسی نے(قرآنِ مجید پہنچنے پر) از خودخلوص سے صحیح سمت کی رہنمائی کوحاصل کیا درحقیقت اس نے محنت و خلوص سے خود اپنی ذات کے فائدے کے لئے ہدایت یافتہ بنایا۔

وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيْـهَاۚ

  • Similarly, whoever remained neglectful-indifferent (towards Qur’ān having reached him), thereby the consequential fact is that his strays-neglect has effect upon his self.

  •  اور جوکوئی(قرآنِ مجید سے) غافل/منحرف ہوا تواُس کی گمراہی کا ذمہ خود اُس پر ہے۔

وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٚ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰۗ

  • And no bearer of burdens will bear lifting the burdens of others

  • ۔اورکوئی بوجھ بردارکسی دوسرے کا بوجھ اپنے پر لادنے کے لئے تیار نہیں ہو گا۔

وَمَا كُنَّا مُعَذِّبِيـنَ حَتَّىٰ نَبْعَثَ رَسُولٙا .17:15١٥

  • And Our Majesty were never to inflict punishment until and unless We had sent revivalist as Messenger. [17:15]

وَإِذَآ أَرَدْنَآ أَن نُّـهْلِكَ قَرْيَةٙ أَمَرْنَا مُتْـرَفِيـهَا فَفَسَقُوا۟ فِيـهَا

  • Know it, when Our Majesty have decided that We may annihilate a dwelling, We commanded through the Messenger to the affluent elite of her; thereat, they purposely transgressed therein.

فَحَقَّ عَلَيْـهَا ٱلْقَوْلُ فَدَمَّرْنَٟهَا تَدْمِيـرٙا .17:16١٦

  • Thereupon, the promised proposition became incumbent upon them. Consequently, Our Majesty destroyed her, a destruction by forceful entrance. [17:16]

وَكَمْ أَهْلَـكْنَا مِنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ نُوحٛۚ

  • Realize it, Our Majesty have annihilated many of civilizations who flourished after Noah [alai'his'slaam]

وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيـرََاۢ بَصِيـرٙا .17:17١٧

  • And your Sustainer Lord, eternally absolutely informed and everything under His focus, suffices to watch the slanders and sins of His subjects. [17:17]

مَّن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ عَجَّلْنَا لَهُۥ فِيـهَا مَا نَشَآءُ لِمَن نُّرِيدُ

  • Whoever were aspiring for reward of his efforts in this worldly life, Our Majesty hastened for him in it what We decide for the one for whom We so intend.

ثُـمَّ جَعَلْنَا لَهُۥ جَهَنَّـمَ يَصْلىٰـهَا مَذْمُومٙا مَّدْحُورٙا .17:18١٨

  • Afterward, We have declared for him the Hell-Prison, wherein he will enter to scorch, disgraced and discarded. [17:18]

وَمَنْ أَرَادَ ٱلۡءَاخِـرَةَ وَسَعَىٰ لَـهَا سَعْيَـهَا وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٚ

  • And whoever decisively aspired for the Hereafter, and he exerted for it, its required efforts provided he is a believer

فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ كَانَ سَعْيُـهُـم مَّشْكُورٙا .17:19١٩

  • Thereby, such are the people whose efforts will be recognized appreciatively. [17:19]

كُلّٙا نُّمِدُّ هَٟٓـؤُلَآءِ وَهَٟٓـؤُلَآءِ مِنْ عَطَـآءِ رَبِّكَۚ

  • Our Majesty extends for every one, this type and that type of people, from the bestowal of your Sustainer Lord

وَمَا كَانَ عَطَـآءُ رَبِّكَ مَحْظُورٙا .17:20٢٠

  • And the bestowal of your Sustainer Lord has not been made restrictive. [17:20]

ٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ فَضَّلْنَا بَعْضَهُـمْ عَلَـىٰ بَعْضٛۚ

  • Look, how have We given distinction in grants of sustenance to some of them over the others

وَلَلْءَاخِـرَةُ أَكْبَـرُ دَرَجَٟتٛ وَأَكْبَـرُ تَفْضِيلٙا .17:21٢١

  • And indeed the Hereafter is greater in elevations and greater in distinction. [17:21]

لَّا تَجْعَل مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهٙا ءَاخَرَ

  • You should not assign and declare along with Allah the Exalted another iela'aha; godhead

فَتَقْعُدَ مَذْمُومٙا مَّخْذُولٙا .17:22٢٢

  • If you do it thereby you will sit condemned and discarded-abandoned. [17:22]

وَقَضَىٰ رَبُّكَ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ إِيَّاهُ

  • Know it, your Sustainer Lord has given the verdict-decreed that you people should not be subject-subservient-allegiant to anyone except exclusively and absolutely to Him the Exalted

وَبِٱلْوَٟلِدَيْنِ إِحْسَٟنٙاۚ

  • And that you look after your parents with affectionate kindness

إِمَّا يَبْلُغَنَّ عِندَكَ ٱلْـكِـبَـرَ أَحَدُهُـمَآ أَوْ كِلَاهُـمَا

  • In case they cross over to old age in your company/life, one of the two, or both of them

فَلَا تَقُل لَّـهُـمَآ أُفّٛ وَلَا تَنْـهَرْهُـمَا

  • Thereat, you should not say for and to them any word of disrespect-irritation import; nor you should repel both of them

وَقُل لَّـهُـمَا قَوْلٙا كَرِيـمٙا .17:23٢٣

  • And/instead you say for and to both of them words of excellent import. [17:23]

وَٱخْفِضْ لَـهُـمَا جَنَاحَ ٱلذُّلِّ مِنَ ٱلرَّحْـمَةِ

  • And you lower in reverence and humble for both of them with the kindness and blessing

وَقُل رَّبِّ ٱرْحَـمْهُـمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِـى صَغِيـرٙا .17:24٢٤

  • And pray: "My Sustainer Lord! You the Exalted do shower kindness upon them alike that they  raised me during my infancy and childhood." [17:24]

رَّبُّكُـمْ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا فِـى نُفُوسِكُـمْۚ

  • Your Sustainer Lord knows absolutely what is held in your selves.

إِن تَكُونُوا۟ صَٟلِحِيـنَ فَإِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لِلْأَوَّٟبِيـنَ غَفُورٙا .17:25٢٥

  • Should you people act moderately, generously and perfectly thereby indeed He the Exalted is ever pardoning and forgiving for those who are maintainers of sincere righteous orientation towards Allah the Exalted. [17:25]

وَءَاتِ ذَا ٱلْقُـرْبَـىٰ حَقَّهُۥ وَٱلْمِسْكِيـنَ وَٱبْنَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ

  • And you give/spend wealth to the near relative his due-right, and to the destitute, and to the wayfarer

وَلَا تُبَذِّرْ تَبْذِيرٙا .17:26٢٦

  • But you should not scatter the wealth by spending extravagantly. [17:26]

إِنَّ ٱلْمُبَذِّرِينَ كَانُوٓا۟ إِخْوَٟنَ ٱلشَّيَٟطِيـنِۖ

  • Indeed the spendthrifts are the brothers of the devils

وَكَانَ ٱلشَّيْطَٟنُ لِرَبِّهِۦ كَفُورٙا .17:27٢٧

  • And Shai'taan had become ungratefully disobedient for his Sustainer Lord. [17:27]

وَإِمَّا تُعْـرِضَنَّ عَنْـهُـمُ ٱبْتِغَآءَ رَحْـمَةٛ مِّن رَّبِّكَ تَرْجُوهَا

  • And in case you have to turn away from them for want of seeking bounty from your Sustainer Lord which you expect

فَقُل لَّـهُـمْ قَوْلٙا مَّيْسُورٙا .17:28٢٨

  • Thereat, say for them a word-statement of gentle import. [17:28]

وَلَا تَجْعَلْ يَدَكَ مَغْلُولَةٙ إِلَـىٰ عُنُقِكَ

  • And you should not render your hand chained towards your neck

وَلَا تَبْسُطْهَا كُلَّ ٱلْبَسْطِ فَتَقْعُدَ مَلُومٙا مَّحْسُورٙا .17:29٢٩

  • Nor should you stretch it to the whole stretch with the result that you might sit/end up objurgating and languished. [17:29]

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَبْسُطُ ٱلـرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقْدِرُۚ

  • The fact is that your Sustainer Lord expands the sustenance for whom He so decides; and restricts to measure for whom He the Exalted so decides.

إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيـرَاۢ بَصِيـرٙا .17:30٣٠

  • Indeed He the Exalted is eternally absolutely informed about His subjects and they are under His focus. [17:30]

وَلَا تَقْتُلُوٓا۟ أَوْلٟدَكُمْ خَشْيَةَ إِمْلٟقٛۖ

  • Take note, you should not kill your children apprehending poverty and financial liability.

نَّحْنُ نَرْزُقُهُـمْ وَإِيَّاكُمْۚ

  • Our Majesty provide sustenance to them and to you people.

إنَّ قَتْلَـهُـمْ كَانَ خِطْــٔٙا كَبِيـرٙا .17:31٣١

  • Indeed their murder has always been a great blunder. [17:31]

وَلَا تَقْرَبُوا۟ ٱلزِّنَـىٰٓۚ

  • And you people should not approach nearing the mutually consented sexual intercourse

إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فَٟحِشَةٙ وَسَآءَ سَبِيلٙا .17:32٣٢

  • Indeed this act has ever been an immoderation and sinful as a course. [17:32]

وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا۟ ٱلنَّفْسَ ٱلَّتِـى حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بِٱلحَقِّۗ

  • And you should not murder/hang a person whom Allah the Exalted has sanctified, exception is against a person on a proven charge (for dispensation of justice on ground of being guilty of murder of a person or of creating disturbance/ disorder/chaos/panic in the country [5:32,33])

وَمَن قُتِلَ مَظْلُومٙا فَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا لِوَلِيِّهِۦ سُلْطَٟنٙا فَلَا يُسْـرِف فِّـى ٱلْقَتْلِۖ

  • And whoever killed someone unjustly then indeed We have appointed for his heir an authority/compensation, thereby he the heir should not exceed reasonability in the matter of that particular murder

إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مَنصُورٙا .17:33٣٣

  • Indeed he has been rendered as helped by way of reasonable compensation. [17:33]

وَلَا تَقْرَبُوا۟ مَالَ ٱلْيَتِيـمِ إِلَّا بِٱلَّتِـى هِىَ أَحْسَنُ حَتَّىٰ يَبْلُغَ أَشُدَّهُۥۚ

  • Further, you should not approach the inherited property of certain father-orphan; except handling it in the best manner, until he might attain the age of his full strength: age of marriage/Nikah.

وَأَوْفُوا۟ بِالْعَهْدِۖ

  • And you people are directed to fulfill your commitment - contractual obligation.

إِنَّ ٱلْعَهْدَ كَانَ مَسْـُٔولٙا .17:34٣٤

  • Indeed the contract - solemn pledge has always been subject to be questioned. [17:34]

وَأَوْفُوا ٱلْـكَـيْلَ إِذا كِلْتُـمْ وَزِنُوا۟ بِٱلقِسْطَاسِ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيـمِۚ

  • And you people are directed to discharge the liability of weight in full when you have weighed for others, and weigh on exactly balanced-equilibrium scale

ذَٟلِكَ خَيْـرٚ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلٙا .17:35٣٥

  • This is the best course; and in ultimate analysis-outcome it is most appropriate and balanced. [17:35]

وَلَا تَقْفُ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلْمٌۚ

  • And you should not individually pursue-track that course, idea or thought, knowledge about which has not been in your access.

إِنَّ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْبَصَرَ وَٱلْفُؤَادَ كُلُّ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ كَانَ عَنْـهُ مَسْـُٔولٙا .17:36٣٦

  • It is a fact that the faculty-sense of processing sounds and verbal information; and the faculty of gaze-visualization; and faculty of Processing-Integrating-producing Knowledge: Brain/Mind; they will be subjected individually to questioning-scrutiny. [17:36]

وَلَا تَمْشِ فِـى ٱلۡأَرْضِ مَـرَحٙاۖ

  • Neither you should walk in the Earth exultantly and boastfully/conceitedly.

إِنَّكَ لَن تَخْرِقَ ٱلۡأَرْضَ

  • It is a fact that you can never tear apart the Earth

وَلَن تَبْلُغَ ٱلْجِبَالَ طُولٙا .17:37٣٧

  • Nor will you be able to walk across the range of mountains, longitudinally. [17:37]

كُلُّ ذَٟلِكَ كَانَ سَيِّئُهُۥ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ مَكْرُوهٙا .17:38٣٨

  • All these mentioned just before have been declared abominable by your Sustainer Lord. [17:38]

ذَٟلِكَ مِمَّآ أَوْحَـىٰٓ إِلَيْكَ رَبُّكَ مِنَ ٱلْحِكْمَةِۗ

  • This is the segment of that which Your Sustainer Lord have verbally communicated to you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] to convey to people as pearls of Wisdom

وَلَا تَجْعَلْ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهٙا ءَاخَرَ

  • And to tell everyone, "you should not assign and declare along with Allah the Exalted another iela'aha: godhead

فَتُلْقَىٰ فِـى جَهَنَّـمَ مَلُومٙا مَّدْحُورٙا .17:39٣٩

  • Failing which you will confront Hell-prison, condemned and discarded/abandoned." [17:39]

أَفَأَصْفَىٰكُـمْ رَبُّكُـم بِٱلْبَنِيـنَ وَٱتَّخَذَ مِنَ ٱلْمَلَٟٓئِكَـةِ إِنَٟثٙاۚ

  • Is it what you suggest that your Sustainer Lord has chosen you people to have sons, and He the exalted has adopted females from amongst the Angels?

إِنَّكُـمْ لَتَقُولُونَ قَوْلٙا عَظِيـمٙا .17:40٤٠

  • Indeed you people say a statement of grave implications. [17:40]

وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا فِى هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانِ لِيَذَّكَّرُوا۟

  • Appreciate the fact that Our Majesty have illustrated in this Qur’ān issues and concepts, mirroring information by rotation in alternate directions, angles, and perspectives. Its objective is that they might at their own conveniently save, recall, relate and take lesson

وَمَا يَزِيدُهُـمْ إِلَّا نُفُورٙا .17:41٤١

  • But the fact remains that it increases in them nothing but running away aversively. [17:41]

قُلْ لَّوْ كَانَ مَعَهُۥٓ ءَالِـهَةٚ كَمَا يَقُولُونَ

  • You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] pronounce: "Had there been various iela'aha: godheads along with Him the Exalted, as they people conjecturally describe:

إِذٙا لَّٱبْتَغَوْا۟ إِلَـىٰ ذِى ٱلْعَـرْشِ سَبِيلٙا .17:42٤٢

  • In that case those so called iela'aha: godheads would certainly have sought a passage towards the Holder of Supreme Sovereign Seat/Throne [beyond the Skies of universe]". [17:42]

سُبْحَٟنَهُۥ وَتَعَٟلَـىٰ عَمَّا يَقُولُونَ

  • He the Exalted is above such needs-support-weakness; Infinite Glory is for Him-His pleasure is the focus of all effort; and He is exalted above all what they conjecturally attribute.

عُلُوّٙا كَبِيـرٙا .17:43٤٣

  • He is the infinitely elevated and exalted. [17:43]

تُسَبِّـحُ لَهُ ٱلسَّمَٟوَٟتُ ٱلسَّبْعُ وَٱلۡأَرْضُ وَمَن فِيـهِنَّۚ

  • The Seven Skies and the Earth and whatever exists in them remain active in executing work for Him along with repetitive glorifying praise.

وَإِن مِّن شَـىْءٛ إِلَّا يُسَبِّـحُ بِحَمْدِهِۦ وَلَـٰكِن لَّا تَفْقَهُونَ تَسْبِيحَهُـمْۗ

  • And there is not a single
