Reasons why a verb becomes jussive-مجزوم :

·         it is preceded by لمThe meaning of imperfect verb are changed into a negative past tense with emphasis;

·         it is preceded byلما  : It denotes that there is continuous negation from a point in the past until the present time;

·         it is preceded by the لـ La of imperative

·         it is preceded by لا of prohibitive

·         it is preceded by the conditional إنْ, whether it be explicit o implicit

The jussive mood expresses pleading, insistence, imploring, self-encouragement, wishing, desiring, intention, polite commanding, purpose or consequence.

Jussive without particle happens in conditional sentences containing a command, an interrogation, or a wishing. [2:106; 2:135]
