لعب: اللَّعِبُ واللَّعْبُ: ضدُّ الجِدِّ،

That it is contra. of diligence, earnestness, seriousness.

  • O those/you who proclaim to have accepted-become believers, listen;

  • You should not hold; those who have purposely undertaken jesting, mocking and playful exposition about your Code of Conduct: Islam

  • Belonging to those whom Book was given before you people and the staunch disavowers, as allies, confidants, saviours.

  • And sincerely endeavour to attain the protection from Allah the Exalted

  • Adopt this attitude if you people were truly the believers..  [5:57]


  • And when you people proclaim your call for congregation to perform Ass-sa'laat: Time bound protocol of servitude and allegiance, they take it: Ass-sa'laat in jest and mockery playfully.

  • This attitude is because they are indeed the people who do not reflect. [5:58]


  • Realize it; the life of this lowly world is nothing but like short lived theatrical play and amusement

  • And the Home of the Hereafter is certainly the best for the people who endeavour to protect their selves.

  • Is this neglecting the Hereafter for reason that you reflect not? [6:32]


  • And leave them who have adopted their Code of Life as fascinating play and amusement

  • And the life of this world has put them in deceptive delusion.

  • And just remind with it (Qur’ān) that a person will be imprisoned for what he earned

  • None a protector nor an intercessor, others than Allah the Exalted, will come for his rescue.

  • Moreover, should he offer all that which can be offered as remission; it is ordained it would not be accepted.

Root: ع د ل

  • They are the people who are restrained/imprisoned and debarred from pleasure of life [in Hell-the worst Prison-17:08]. This is outcome of what they had earned in worldly life.

  • Drinking water of heated reservoir and severe punishment is arranged and is in wait for them for the reason they persistently kept disavowing. [preferring worldly interests and fascination] [6:70]

  • Know it; they (clergy of Jews) did not esteem Allah the Exalted as is appropriate for His Magnificence:

  • When they said: "Allah has not sent anything compositely upon the Man. [Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam]

  • You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] ask them: "Who was He who had compositely sent the Book, the one which Mūsā [alai'his'slaam] had brought to you people; it was enlightening and source of guidance for aright conduct of the people.

  • You people render it (Book brought by Mūsā alai'his'slaam- Tor'at transcribed on papers] as fragmented/isolated papers (instead of a composite book) whereby you publish them (individual papers containing some content of the Book) and keep hiding from public most of them (individual papers).

  • And you people were taught that which you did not know earlier nor your fathers knew."

  • [They keep mum] You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] pronounce: "Allah the Exalted sent both."

  • Afterwards having told them you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] leave them playing in their conjectural discourses. [6:91]

  • They had adopted their code of conduct as play and amusement

Root: ل ھ و

  • And the life of the Earthly world had put them in deceptive delusion.

  • Hence, logical conclusion is that today Our Majesty is indifferently discarding them like their discarding and indifference towards confronting their day, this one;

  • And because they kept denying verbal passages of the Book of Our Majesty. [7:51]


  • And have the inhabitants of the cities also felt secured and protected about the possibility that catastrophe decreed by Our Majesty reaches them during early bright day time-

  • While they are in relaxed enjoying mood?  [7:98]


  • : Imposter believers are apprehensive of sending a Surah: a chapter upon the believers informing them about that which is nurtured in their hearts.

  • You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] pronounce: "You people keep non serious jesting attitude. Indeed Allah the Exalted will just bring forth what you people are guarding." [9:64]

  • And if you asked them they will certainly reply: "We were merely conversing hypothetically and we were just amusing."

  • You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] confront them,: "Were you people non seriously jesting in matters relating to Allah the Exalted, and His Aa'ya'at: Verbal passages of Qur’ān and His Messenger? [9:65]


  • You do send him [Yu'suf alai'his'slaam] ] with us tomorrow that he should enjoy eating and drinking in greenery and playing

  • آپ اسے کل ہمارے ساتھ باہر بھیج دیں۔خوب کھا پی لے گا،کھیلے کودے گا

  • Whereat we will certainly be taking care guarding him." [12:12]

  • اور یقینا ہم اس کے لئے حفاظت کرنے والے ہوں گے‘‘


  • They do not listen except hearing in a playful mood whatever warning - information comes to their notice anew quoted from the Memoir- Admonishment (Qur’ān) received from their Sustainer Lord. [21:02]


  • Realize it, Our Majesty have not created the Sky and the Earth and all that exists between these two, enacting it in the state of those who indulge in recreation and pastime activities. [21:16]


  • They said, "Have you come to us with absolute fact or you are just one of playful ones?" [21:55]

 

  • Realize it; The Life of this Lowly World is nothing except like short lived theatrical play and amusement

  • And know the certain fact that the Home of the Hereafter is truly the living Life.

  • Had they but understood-tried to analyze this disclosed fact! [29:64]


  • -- Afterwards having told them, you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] leave them playing in their conjectural discourses till they meet/encounter the Day, the one which is being promised to them --. [43:83]

  • Nay [they are not in a state of conviction] rather the fact is that they in their skepticism are playful. [44:09]

  • Realize it, Our Majesty have not created the Sky and the Earth and all that exists between these two, enacting it in the state of those who indulge in recreation and pastime activities. [44:38]


  • Indeed the life of this lowly world is nothing but like short lived theatrical play and amusement

  • And if you people accept/believe and consciously and purposely remain heedful avoiding unrestrained conduct, He the Exalted will grant you the recompense of you people

  • And He will not ask you about your wealth. [47:36]


  • Those are the ones who in their conjectural discourses are playfully enjoying. [52:12]

  • You people must know/understand that the life of this lowly world is like short lived theatrical play and amusement and attraction

  • And mutual boasting between you and race for increase in the wealth and progeny/strength

  • Like the example of rain; the resulting sprouting of crops which made the tiller pleasingly wonder

  • After a lapse of time it experiences phase of excitement and shrivel, thereupon you see it golden yellowish. Afterwards it would become thrashed-fragmented.

  • And in the Hereafter is in wait a severe punishment

  • And [for others] the forgiveness and protection and the appreciations and approvals of Allah the Exalted.

  • And the life of this lowly world is but wherewithal of deceptive hopes/enjoyment. [57:20]


  • Afterwards having told them you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] leave them playing in their conjectural discourses till they meet/encounter the Day, the one which is being promised to them. [70:42]
