  • Then how would it be their response/attitude when affliction would have fallen upon them as a result of that which their hands have sent forward/the conduct/actions?

  • Thereafter, they came to you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] swearing by Allah the Exalted: "We had diverted not except we intended settlement and reconciliation" [4:62]


  • Allah the Exalted will not hold you people accountable for your superfluous promissory chatters in sworn circumstances [since they are mere utterances of mouth of no import-consideration].

  • اللہ تعالیٰ تم لوگوں کو تمہاری ایسی قسموں کے حوالے سے قابل مؤاخذہ نہیں فرمائیں گے جولایعنی اورباتکرار ہیں۔

  • But be mindful that Allah the Exalted will hold you responsible and accountable for those vows, pledges-promises which you have solemnly contracted/sworn. [well thought, determined, intentional]

  • مگر وہ جناب تمہارا مؤاخذہ ان قسموں کے حوالے سے کریں جوتمہارے قلوب نے انجام دینے کا مصمم اظہار /پابند عہدکیا تھا۔

  • For reason of not discharging the pledge, the expiation-absolving one's self is feeding ten indigent persons the food of average standard that you regularly serve your family —

  • Or provide clothing to them; or free a bondwoman.

  • Sequel to it; he who has not yet resources to meet the expenditure; thereat, fasting for three days is prescribed. [so that in future you become mindful and heedful]

  • This is the expiation of your promises when you have sworn.

  • And you people protect/honour your promises/pledges/contracts.

  • This is how Allah the Exalted explicitly explicates His Aa'ya'at: Verbal Passages of Qur’ān rendering each point-concept-situation distinctly isolated and crystal clear for you people [for comprehension as was promised to the Messenger Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] —

  • So that you might effectively recognize, acknowledge and express gratitude. [5:89]


  • Had the gain been in sight and the journey was for a moderate desirable purpose: indeed they (Muna'fi'qeen- Imposter believers) would have happily followed you; but the schism made it seem distant for them.

  • And they (Muna'fi'qeen- Imposter believers) will say [seeking exemption from participation in war] swearing by Allah:  "Had we been able we would have indeed come out and gone along with you people"; taking this stance they fatally harm/destroy their selves —

  • Since Allah the Exalted fully knows that they are indeed liars. [9:42]


  • Be cautious, they (Muna'fi'qeen) swear by Allah the Exalted to the effect that that they are certainly a part of you people, the true Believers —

  • Take note, they (Muna'fi'qeen) are not a part of  you people (true Believers) —

  • On the contrary they are a people who alienate as a different entity. [9:56]


  • They swear by Allah before you the believers so that they might win your pleasure.

  • Take note, Allah the Exalted and His Messenger has precedence that they might win the pleasure of Allah the Exalted and His Messenger —

  •  If they were truly the believers. [9:62]


  • They swear by Allah that they said nothing; but the fact is that indeed they had said a word of disbelief.

  • And they have denied after their demonstrative submission to Islam; and they had planned for that which they have failed to attain.

  • And they: a group of imposter believers had resented against the true believers for no reason except because Allah the Exalted and His Messenger did make them self sufficient and sustaining; financed them out of the bounty granted by Him the Exalted.

  • Therefore, if they people revert repenting, this course would be better for them —

  • And if they turn away, Allah the Exalted would punish them with a severe punishment in the worldly life and in the Hereafter —

  • Take note, neither a guardian nor a protector in the world will come forward for them. [9:74]


  • They will swear by Allah for convincing you people when you would have returned to them so that you might overlook them.

  • You people in turn avoid them. Indeed they are filthy people.

  • And their abode is in the Hell-Prison —

  • ۔متنبہ رہو؛ان کی آخری "پناہ گاہ" جھلسا دینے والی جہنم ہے۔

  • Their imprisonment is requital for what they people were earning. [9:95]


  • They swear for satisfying and pleasing you people to overlook them.

  • Responsively should you people become satisfied about them, then remain aware that Allah the Exalted does not approve and appreciate such people who are aberrant: averse, transgressors, liars and promise breakers. [9:96]

  • And as for those who had earlier adopted a mosque for causing harm and disbelief and a state of division-disintegration amongst the believers —

  • And as a launching pad-station for him who foretimes intrigued-battled against Allah the Exalted and His Messenger:

  • They will certainly swear and say: "We intended nothing except good".

  • Mind it, Allah the Exalted bears witness emphasizing that they are certainly the liars. [9:107]


  • Have you not seen/given a thought about those (Muna'fi'qeen - Imposter believers) who turned approaching the people upon whom the criminal cognizance of Allah the Exalted has become incumbent - the Jews —

  • They are neither a part of you people nor are they part of them.

  • And they swear on the blatant falsehood while they know it to be false. [58:14]


  • Thereat, they will swear for Him the Exalted in the same manner as they swear for you people —

  • And they think they are on some foundation —

  • Undoubtedly it is a certain fact that they are the liars. [58:18]


  • And you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] should not listen and accept the word of everyone habitual swearer on worthless/baseless opinions — [68:10]
