العَزْمُ والعَزِيمَةُ: عقد القلب على إمضاء الأمر

That it signifies determined resolve upon executing or concluding an affair.

Lane Lexicon: He determined, resolved, or decided, upon it, or upon doing it, namely, an affair;] he desired to do it, and decided, or determined, upon it; (S, K;) he settled, or determined, his heart, or mind, firmly upon doing it:

اردو میں بطور اسم ’’عزم‘‘؛عزم صمیم، عزم راسخ مستعمل ہے:

  • However, in case they have firmly decided to publicly announce the termination of matrimonial protocol and bondage with their wives

  • مگر اگر انہوں نے  برملا طلاق(حقوق زوجیت کے انقطاع کا باضابطہ اعلان)کا مصمم ارادہ کر لیا ہے۔

  • Then, it be known that Allah the Exalted is the Listener and the Knowledgeable. [2:227]

  • تو اس صورت میں یہ حقیقت ذہن نشین رہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ہر لمحہ ہر آواز کو سننے والے ہیں، منبع علم ہیں،ہر بات کی مکمل معلومات رکھتے ہیں۔


  • Be aware that there is nothing wrong and blemish worthy upon you in that overture of your subtly indicating interest to the Wives of deceased-alienated husbands; or you kept it secret to your selves.

  • جان لو؛تم لوگوں پر قطعاً کچھ قابل اعتراض ہونے کی گرفت نہیں،جو تم نے عورتوں کی گفتگو میں اظہار کر دیا یا تم نے اپنی خواہش کو اپنے اندر چھپائے رکھا

  • Allah the Exalted knew that you will eventually express to them.

  • اللہ تعالیٰ کو معلوم ہے کہ تم(بیوہ سے نکاح کے خواہشمند)ان (بیواؤں)سے  آنے والے دنوں میں(اپنی خواہش)کا ذکر کرو گے۔

  • But you should not alluringly lead them to mutual promise except that you may say to them a normally acceptable statement in plain words of evident import

  • لیکن ان(بیواؤں)سے  عیاں انداز میں عہد و پیمان نہیں کرنا چاہئے سوائے معروف انداز میں  وہ بات کہہ دینے  سے اظہار کر دو۔

  • And that you people should not make a firm resolve for the Matrimonial Bondage with them until such time the Prescribed Obligatory Period crosses its terminating moment.

  • اور تمہیں چاہئے کہ اس وقت تک  نکاح کے بندھن کا عزم نہ کرو جب تک کہ طے کردہ ضابطے  کی مدت گزر نہ جائے۔

  • Remain aware, Allah the Exalted fully knows that which you retain to your selves-secreted in hearts

  • اور متنبہ رہو کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ہر اس بات کو بخوبی جانتے ہیں  جو خود تمہاری ذات میں ابھی محدود ہے۔

  • Therefore, always remain mindfully cautious of Him the Exalted to adhere to injunctions given.

  • اس لئے ان جناب   کے متعلق تم لوگ  محتاط رہا کرو۔

  • Moreover, remain cognizant that Allah the Exalted is eternally imperturbably over looking-forgiver [of unintentional faults-wrong doings]. [2:235]

  • لیکن ساتھ میں یہ بھی جان لو کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اکثر و بیشتردرگزر اور پردہ پوشی کرنے اور معاف فرمانے والے ہیں؛وہ درجہ اتم بردبار،جذبات سے منزہ ہیں۔

  • You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] are altruistic; compassionate, gentle for them as were you sent as embodiment-personification of mercy by Allah the Exalted.

  • And had you been rude, rough, unkind and hard hearted, they would have certainly scattered away from your company.

  • Therefore, you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] overlook-condone them over their faults. And you seek for them forgiveness. And associate them in consultations in the matter.

  • Thereby, when you have taken a firm decision, thereat act upon it placing confidence-trust in Allah the Exalted about success-desirable outcome.

  • Indeed, Allah the Exalted approves and appreciates those who retain trust and confidence. [3:159]


  • Take note you people will certainly be subjected to trials for exposure of your inner-self with reference to your wealth - worldly wherewithal and your personal selves.

  • And know: you will certainly listen from some of them (Jews) who were given the Book before you

  • Much irritating and disturbing assertions. Likewise, you will certainly listen much irritating and disturbing assertions by some of those who ascribed partners to Allah the Exalted.

  • Remember; should you people remain coolly perseverant and diligently heedful avoiding unrestrained conduct stirred by emotions:

  • [their tricks-crafty schemes will not at all cause you any harm-3:120] This course is indeed a subject of strong willpower. [3:186]


  • And in the remote past Our Majesty had forbore Adam [alai'his'slaam].

  • Subsequent to delusional inspiration by Shai'taan, he-Adam forgot it. However, Our Majesty did not find deliberateness against him in this regard.  [20:115]


  • O my son! Remain steadfast in the performance of Ass-sa'laat; Time Bound Protocol of Servitude and Allegiance

  • And enjoin to act according to accepted social values and norms and forbid others following conjectural innovations-deviations and unauthentic non-verifiable myths

  • And remain coolly perseverant upon whatever distressing and unpleasant reaches you

  • No doubt this course is indeed a subject of strong willpower. [31:17]


  • And certainly the one who remained steadfast coolly perseverant and he forgave; (unlimited reward is due and in wait for him-39:10)

  • This course is indeed a subject of strong willpower. [42:43]


 

  • Therefore, you the Messenger remain coolly perseverant like the tradition of patience exercised by the Messengers of strong willpower

  • And you should not react to hasten finality for them [as they ask you to hasten decision].

  • [they mockingly ask that when they would have converted to bones and dust, their perception will be] As if, the Day when they see [resurrection] what is being promised to them, [their observation would be that] they had not stayed in that condition except for an hour of a day.

  • The time is to cross over to that Moment

  • Thereat, would anyone get destroyed and doomed except the people who are deliberate and persistent defiant and deviants? [46:35]


  • Voluntary acceptance of the word and expression of straightforward import (reflects conscious decision)

  • Thereat when the matter had been decided and decreed, whereby had they proven their claim of belief as truthful to Allah the Exalted indeed that would have been far better for them. [47:21]
