Ibn Faris [died 1005] stated:

مقاييس اللغة — ابن فارس (٣٩٥ هـ)

 الْعَيْنُ وَالْمِيمُ وَالرَّاءُ أَصْلَانِ صَحِيحَانِ، أَحَدُهُمَا يَدُلُّ عَلَى بَقَاءٍ وَامْتِدَادِ زَمَانٍ، وَالْآخَرُ عَلَى شَيْءٍ يَعْلُو، مِنْ صَوْتٍ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ.

That it leads to the perception of survival and extent/elongation of span of time; and secondly it denotes something rising from sound or for for otherr eason.

Since basic perception infolded in the Root is that of inhabiting and populating a place, it reflects frequent visiting and stationing of large number of people thereat. It thus denotes a particular place which is frequented by large number of people with the result that it gets depicted as enlivened and vivified.

  •  اور آپ(ﷺ) ضرور انہیں آئندہ بھی؛ لوگوں اور ان سے جنہوں نے اللہ تعالیٰ کے ساتھ شراکت داری کا فلسفہ اختراع کیا اور اپنایا ہے، زیادہ زندگی کا حریص پائیں گے۔

  • Each one of them wishes that he might be surviving as long for a thousand year life-age.

  • اُن میں سے ہرکوئی چاہتا ہے کہ کاش ہزار سال کی عمر پائے۔

  • But (hypothetically speaking) even the fulfilment of his desire of long life span is granted, he will never ever be the one to escape-move further off from the punishment.

  •  یہ الگ بات ہے کہ طویل عمرکا دیا جانا اُسے عذاب سے دورنہیں کر سکتا۔

  • And be mindful; Allah the Exalted is the ever Observer of all that which people keep doing. [2:96]

  • متنبہ رہو؛ ا للہ تعالیٰ ہر لمحہ اُن اعمال کودیکھ رہے ہیں جو وہ کرتے ہیں۔


  • It is a fact that As-Safa and Al-Marwata are long regarded as amongst Allah's symbolic emblems —

  • یقینا اللہ تعالیٰ کی جانب سے کعبہ معظمہ کے قریب صفااور مروہ کو تقدس دیئے گئے شعائر (مقدس علامت)میں سمجھا جاتا ہے۔

  • Therefore, whoever intended to visit the House (Ka'aba) for annual pilgrimage or affectionate reverent visit, thereby his self imposed affixing of walking around them is not al all blame worthy upon him.

  • اس لئے جو کوئی اللہ تعالیٰ کے گھرکے حج یا عمرہ کے لئے آیا ہوا ہے تو اس  پر قطعاً  کوئی قابل اعتراض بات  کی گرفت نہیں  کہ   اپنی خوشی اور عقیدت و احترام کے اظہار کے لئے ان  کے گرد طواف کومناسک میں شامل کر لے۔

  • And should someone listen and willingly accept the urge for excelling in righteous conduct; it is good for him since Allah the Exalted is certainly the Recognizer-appreciatively acknowledger; eternally All-Knowing. [2:158]

  • مطلع رہو؛ اگر کوئی بھی شخص خود خوشی سے بھلا کام کرنے پر آمادہ ہے تو یہ قابل تحسین ہے۔کیونکہ یہ حقیقت ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ہر اچھے کام کے معترف ہیں،وہ ارادوں کو مکمل جاننے والے ہیں۔


  • Listen; You people are directed to complete the Hajj and Uemraa; performing all the Protocols in awe and reverence for Allah the Exalted.

  •   اے مدعیان ایمان، قصد کر لینے اور مکۃ المکرمہ پہنچ جانے پرحج اور عمرہ کواللہ تعالیٰ کے لئے خشوع و خضوع سے مکمل کرو۔

  • However, if on arrival you were blockaded to perform it, then you are only required to send that which was readily available of garlanded mammals raised for sacrifice.

  • بسبب اگر تم لوگوں کو ادائیگی سے روک دیا گیا ہے تواس صورت میں قربانی کے لئے مخصوص چوپایوں  میں سے جو آسانی سے دستیاب ہے انہیں آگے بھیج دو۔

  • And you should not remove hair-shave your heads till the reaching of the sacrificial mammal to his destined point.

  • اور تم لوگوں کو اپنے سروں کے بال تراشنے/منڈوانے کے لئے اس وقت تک انتظار کرنا چاہئے جب قربانی کا جانور مقررہ مقام تک پہنچ جائے۔

  • However, if someone of you was sick, or with itching-irritation persisting in his head he is faced with, necessitating removal of hair or avoidance of shaving, thereby, an absolver is due upon him of choice; fasting, or to gift something to needy, or doing any good act.

  • اس حکم کے پیش نظر اگر کوئی تم میں  مریض ہے یا اس حکم کی وجہ سے اس کے سر میں تکلیف کا سبب بن سکتی ہے تو اس کے لئے یہ حکم ساقط ہے جس کے لئے اسے فدیہ دینا ہوگا،ایک روزہ رکھ کر،یا کچھ صدقہ دے کر یا کوئی اچھا کام کر کے۔

  • Thereat, if you are afforded security-permission for entry, then, if some one wished to avail the benefit of Uem'raa visit towards Hajj he shall sacrifice which was readily available of garlanded mammals raised for sacrifice.

  • مگر اگر اجازت مل جائے تو جس کسی نے عمرہ  سے مستفید ہوتے ہوئے حج کے لئے رکنے کا فیصلہ کیا تو قربانی کے لئے مخصوص کئے جانوروں میں جو باآسانی دستیاب ہوقربان کرنا ہے۔

  • However, he who does not find to comply with this injunction he shall fast for three days during Hajj and for seven days on return to native place.

  • لیکن اگر کوئی ایسا نہ کر سکے تو حج کے دوران تین دن کے روزے رکھے اور سات روزے جب تم لوگ واپس گھروں کو لوٹ گئے ہو۔

  • This will make fast for ten days, compositely. This injunction is for him whose household is non-resident of Sacred Mosque.

  • اس طرح دس روزے مکمل کرے۔یہ حکم اس کے لئے ہے جس کے اہل خانہ مسجد الحرام کے علاقے کے مکین نہیں ہیں۔

  • And you people sincerely endeavour to attain the protection from Allah the Exalted —

  • اورتم لوگ تندہی سے محتاط رہتے ہوئے اللہ تعالیٰ سے پناہ کے خواستگار رہو۔

  • And be aware that Allah the Exalted is watchful/examines matters minutely till its logical conclusion. [2:196]

  • اس حقیقت سے باعلم رہو کہ اللہ تعالیٰ  معاملات کا سختی سے تکمیل تک پیچھا کرنے والے ہیں۔


  • Their visiting and managing the Mosques of Allah the Exalted has never been desirable for the Idol Worshippers-Polytheists being aware-witness upon their selves of disbelief.

  • They are the people whose acts have become voided, weightless froth, destructive.

  • And they will permanently reside in the scorching Hell-prison. [9:17]


  • Indeed only he will populate and maintain the Mosques of Allah the Exalted who believed in Allah the Exalted and the Last Day —

  • And he maintained Ass-sa'laat: Time bound protocol of allegiance and servitude to Allah the Exalted and paid  Az-zaka'at: financial liability for economic uplift of society —

  • And he was afraid of and humble for none except Allah the Exalted.

  • Resultantly, perhaps such are the people that might hopefully remain aright guided. [who spend every moment of their life in accordance with the Book of Allah]. [9:18]

  • Have you declared people providing water to pilgrims and maintaining the Sacred Mosque around Ka'aba are:

  • Like those who believed in Allah the Exalted and the Last Day and exerted utmost in the cause of Allah the Exalted?

  • They equate not with each other in the consideration and judgment of  Allah the Exalted.

  • Be mindful, Allah the Exalted does not guide [against their will/considered decision] people who are mischievous-distorters and substitute facts with conjectures-myths-concocted stories. [9:19]


  • You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] further tell them: "Had it been the will of Allah the Exalted, I would not have orated it (Qur’ān) syllable by syllable upon you people —

  • And nor He the Exalted would have made it known to you people.

  • Realize it as you know I have lived a lifetime amongst you people before it (Qur’ān).

  • Is it for reason that you do not ponder-use intellect to differentiate?  [10:16]


  • And Our Majesty had indeed deputed their brother Sa'leh [alai'his'slaam] as the Messenger towards the nation Sa'mued.

  • He said: "O my nation! "O my nation! you people be exclusively subservient-allegiant to Allah the Exalted.

  • None of those considered and worshipped as iela'aha: godheads other than Him the Exalted is Sovereign Lord of you people.

  • He the Exalted has produced you from a segment of the Earth and has settled you people therein.

  • Therefore, for what you have been doing hitherto seek forgiveness from Him, and afterwards  turn to Him perfecting sincerity/conduct.

  • Truly my Sustainer Lord is Omnipresent and Responsive [to those who ask of Him]. [11:61]


  • -- O you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam]; swearing by your age of life —

  • Indeed they were certainly in blind distracted wandering in their stupefied state --. [15:72]

  • Know it, Allah the Exalted has created you people. Afterwards on lapse of your appointed duration of life [6:02], He the Exalted alienates-segregates you people [from the company of others either dead, or "alive" if murdered in His way/cause]

  • However, there is a member of you people who is made to regressively return towards the relatively dependent-feeble of the period of life culminating at nethermost-non verbal infancy.

Alzheimer is not a disease, but a phenomenon       Root: ر ذ ل

  • The explanation-effect-symptom of regression is that thenceforth he traces-retrieves not knowledge of something, after having attained knowledge.

  • It is a certain fact that Allah the Exalted is Fountain and Setter of sciences, the absolutely Dominant in setting equations and measures. [16:70]


  • Nay, the actual cause is worldly vested interest, Our Majesty have granted these people the affluence-worldly resources and to their forefathers until the life-span has become longer for them.

  • Do they people notice not Our Majesty overpowering the Earth while Our Majesty is gradually reducing her from her extremities/edges?

  • Can they still think they can be dominants? [21:44]


  • O you the Mankind! Listen;

  • If you people have been cast in irritating confusion regarding the resurrection—revival of life:

  • Then why don't you reflect on origin of life; Our Majesty indeed created you people initially corporeally structured with substances of clay drawn from dust —

  • Afterwards, Our Majesty created you from a segment of a sperm —

  • Afterwards, from the joined, implanted/clung clot [zygote-Greek "zogotus" meaning "joined"] —

  • Afterwards from chewed like morsel of flesh —

  • It (zygote) is of two types, one made to be created [the zygote joined with womb's wall] and the other opposite of that which is created [the zygote joined with fallopian tube wall-ectopic pregnancy, not to be created but to scatter]—

  • It is mentioned so that Our Majesty might make manifest for you [that only that gets created whom We wish to create].

 

  • And We implant-make those reside in the wombs whom Our Majesty so will, towards a determined length of time with appointed termination moment.

  • Afterwards the lapse of appointed duration Our Majesty discharge you as an infant.

  • Afterwards, Our Majesty keep developing you to cross over to your strengthen maturity.

  • Thereat, there is someone of strengthen maturity amongst you who is alienated [because of natural death, murder or alive who is killed in Allah's cause]—

  • And, there is some matured person among you who is made to return backwards to the most dependent-feeble of the period of life-nethermost-non verbal infancy —

  • The explanation-symptom-effect of regression is that thenceforth he traces-retrieves not knowledge of something, after having attained knowledge.

  • Realize it that you see certain Soil giving look of sterile-cracked-compacted and still. Thereat, when Ourr Majesty sent upon her water, she became thrilled and she swelled [These are not literary expressions but narration of physical facts-Qur’ān is a statement of absolute fact] —

  • And thereby she produced- sprouted every kind of beautiful species of plants. [22:05]


  • He (Fir'aoun/Pharaoh) replied:  "Did we not nourish and raise you among us while you were a child?

  • And you lived among us many years of your age — [26:18]

  • While on the contrary Our Majesty [in between the intervening period] created many generations whereupon the period of life was quite prolonged —

  • And nor you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] were a dweller amongst the residents of City Madyan, you reciting/communicating word by word Our Aa'ya'at to them —

  • However, Our Majesty kept sending the Messengers [to nations/civilizations before your physical appearance] [28:45]


  • Is it that they have not traversed in the world/land [Read also with 12:109;22:46;40:82;47:10] —

  • Whereby they may see the remains/archaeological evidences as to what was the end of those who were before them [and take heed/lesson].

  • They were mightier in power than them —

  • And they ploughed the Earth and brought it under cultivation more than that which they have made it cultivable. [Read with 40:21,82]

  • And came to them their Messengers with manifestly evident signs/proofs —

  • Then in consequence Allah the Exalted was not to do injustice to them —

  • But in fact they kept doing injustice and harm to their own selves. [30:09]


  • The fact is that Allah the Exalted has created you people corporeally structured with substances of clay drawn from dust —

   Origin of Man - the blue eyed of physical realm

  • Afterwards, He the Exalted created you people from a segment of a sperm —

  • Afterwards, [having made sperm a joined one] He rendered you people pair/male and female —

  • And neither any of females conceives/uplifts pregnancy and nor she delivers except with His prior knowledge.

  • And neither life period of any is extended nor lessened from the age of an aged person but gets mentioned in writing in a book.

  • Indeed this has always been an easy matter for Allah the Exalted. [35:11]

  • And they will purposely loudly cry therein, "O our Sustainer Lord! You move us out, we will do righteous acts, the opposite of that which we kept doing".

  • [they will be answered] "Had Our Majesty not given you people enough age wherein one could take heed/lesson who remembered/recalled and the Admonisher/Awakener had come to you people —

  • Therefore, you taste, thereat, for the unjust evil mongers there is not at all a helper". [35:37]

  • And he whom Our Majesty give long life We reverse him in the early position of creation.

  • Is it for reason that they do not ponder—use intellect to differentiate? [which is the basic job of intellect] [36:68]

  • Know the history: When the wife of Imr'aan said:

  • "My Sustainer Lord! I have dedicated him for You the Exalted who is developing in my belly, he is exclusively devoted. Therefore, kindly accept him in dedication from me.

  • The fact remains that You the Exalted are certainly the Ever Listener, eternally and absolutely; You are the Source of knowledge - setter of sciences." [3:35]

  • آپ کے متعلق یہ حقیقت ہے،آپ ہر لمحہ ہر آواز کو سننے والے ہیں،آپ منبع علم ہیں۔


  • And of Maryam, daughter of Imr'aan, who guarded her pudendum- chastity; thus remained virgin in life —

  • Thereby, in such state of chastity [being أَمْرًا مَّقْضِيًّا a determined matter] Our Majesty blew in him [Easa, blown in her] "the word of Our command-life".

  • And she remained one of the steadfast devotee. [66:12]
