• Moreover, recall when Our Majesty segregated the Gulf of Suez [refer 20:80] to assist you people to cross over [the dried passage] —

•  اور اس دن کے واقعہ کو یاد کروجب ہم جناب نے تم لوگوں سے تعاون کرتے ہوئے بحر سویز کوسر کی مانگ کی طرح پاٹ دیاتھا۔

 Exodus from Egypt 

• Thereby, Our Majesty rescued you people keeping safe above the surface-reach of water; [skeleton like dried passage/emerged fringing reef-see 26:63]

• جس کے سبب ہم جناب نے تم لوگوں کوسطح آب سے اوپر رکھتے ہوئے دشمن سے نجات دلائی تھی۔

• And Our Majesty caused the drowning of the Pharaoh-folk; [army equipped with arms] while you people were watching them drowning [from other bank of Gulf of Suez after having crossed over the emerged fringing reef that served as bridge-dried passage]. [2:50]

• اور (اِس کے بعد پیچھا کرنے والے ہتھیار بند لشکر)ہم جناب نے آل فرعون کو ڈبو دیا تھا۔
  (اور تم لوگ (بحر سویزکے پار ساحل پر کھڑے) انہیں ڈوبتے ہوئے دیکھ رہے تھے۔(البقرۃ۔۰۵

• Since they were slave to their vested interests, in response they publicly contradicted him. Thereupon, Our Majesty rescued him and those who were believers with him in the Watercraft.

• ۔چونکہ ان پر مفادات  اور لوگوں پر تسلط رکھنے  کا غلبہ تھا اس لئے انہوں نے ان کے فرمودات کو برملا جھٹلا دیا۔نتیجے میں مہلت کا وقت ختم ہونے پر عذاب پہنچنے سے قبل ہم جناب نے انہیں(نوح علیہ السلام) اور وہ لوگ جو ان کے ساتھ  کشتی میں سوار ہوئے تھے وہاں سے باحفاظت نکال دیا۔

• And We drowned those who had publicly contradicted Our Aa'ya'at: Verbal passages of book.

• ۔اور ہم جناب نے ان لوگوں کو مقامی سیلاب میں غرق کر دیا جنہوں نے ہماری آیات(کتاب کے مندرجات اور معجزہ)کو برملا جھٹلایا تھا۔

• Indeed they were a visionless people. [7:64]

• ۔یہ حقیقت ہے کہ وہ اندھے لوگوں کی مانند بن چکے تھے۔

• Consequently Our Majesty took account of them. Thereat, Our Majesty drowned them by a cause in the Gulf of Suez.

• This upshot of theirs was because they persistently contradicted evident signs of Our Majesty;

• And because they remained indifferent and unmindful of them. [7:136]

• The principle of criminal justice is exemplified in the upshot of Pharaoh-folk and those who lived in times before them.

• ان کے روئیے اور عادت کی رفاقت فرعون کے پیروکاروں  سے مماثلت کی حامل ہے اور ان لوگوں سے جو ان سے قبل کے زمانے میں گزر گئے تھے۔

• They publicly belied and defiled the Aa'ya'at: the unprecedented eye opening displays (and verbal passages) of their Sustainer Lord. Consequentially on expiry of grace period, Our Majesty annihilated them for reason of their persistent sins —

• انہوں نے برسرعام اپنے رب کی عینی مشاہدہ  کے لئے انہیں دکھائی گئی  ایسی شہادتوں(آیات/معجزات )کو جھٹلا دیا      جوان کےتصور،تجربہ، سائنسی توجیح سے ماورائے اِدراک  ہوتے ہوئے اس حقیقت کی جانب  واضح رہنمائی کرنے والی تھیں کہ من جانب اللہ  سند اور برھان ہیں۔جس کے بعد مدت مہلت ختم ہونے پت ہم جناب نے ان کے جرائم کی پاداش میں انہیں نیست و نابود کر دیا۔

• And Our Majesty drowned the Pharaoh-folk-army (in Gulf of Suez).

• ۔اور ہم جناب نے فرعون کے پیروکاروں کو سمندر میں غرق کر دیا۔

• Take note; Each one of them were distorters, evil mongers, unjust, violators. [8:54]

• ۔یہ تمام کے تمام سزا یافتہ لوگوں نے حقیقت کے منافی طرز عمل اور سرشت کو اپنائے رکھا تھا۔

• In response and for reason they publicly contradicted him, therefore in keeping with word and obligation to save Messengers and believers Our Majesty saved him and whoever was with him in the ship —

• And Our Majesty had rendered them as the rulers-self governing states.

• And Our Majesty drowned those people of Noah's nation who had publicly contradicted our Aa'ya'at: Verbal Passages of Book.

• Therefore, [to take a lesson, you the Messenger tell everyone to travel in land and] "you see how was the conclusion/end result of those who were duly admonished and awakened?". [10:73]

• Know it; Our Majesty helped them safely cross over the [dried passage-fringing Reef] Gulf of Suez along with Bani Iesraa'eela —

• ۔اور ہم جناب نے انہیں بنی اسرائیل کی مصاھبت میں بحر سویز کو باحفاظت عبور کرنے میں مدد دی۔

Exodus

• Thereat, encouraged by having seen Bani Iesraa'eel cross over safely to other side, Fir'aoun/ Pharaoh and his armed troops followed them in a mindset of rebellion and enmity  —

• Until when the imminent drowning had given him realization —

• He (Pharaoh) said: "I have believed, indeed there is none at all iela'aha: godhead who is living and is sustainer lord except He in Whom have believed Bani Iesraa'eel  —

• And I have now become part of the Muslims." [10:90]

• And you skilfully construct the ship while Our Majesty is watching and are communicating Our verbal instructions —

• ۔اور آپ مہارت سے منفردکشتی  بنائیں ،اس دوران آپ ہماری نگاہوں میں ہیں اور ہم زبانی ہدایات(وحی)بھیج رہے ہیں اس کی تعمیر کے لئے۔

• And you should not address Me about those who have committed wrong —

• ۔اور آپ کو چاہئے کہ ہمیں ان کے حوالے سے مخاطب نہ کریں جنہوں نے حقیقت کے منافی بگاڑ کی روش کو اپنایا ہے۔

• Indeed they are who will be drowned." [11:37]

• ۔یقیناً وہ لوگ غرق کر دئیے جانے والے ہیں"۔

• He replied; "I will soon betake myself up a mountain, the mountain will save me from the water".

• ۔اس(بیٹے)نے کہا'میں ابھی ایک پہاڑ کی جانب پناہ لے لوں گا۔وہ (پہاڑ)مجھے پانی کی پہنچ سے بچا لے گا"۔

• He [Noah alai'his'slaam] called telling him, "There is none a protector who could save today someone from the commanded matter of Allah the Exalted except upon whom He showered mercy".

• ۔انہوں(نوح علیہ السلام)نے کہا"آج قطعی کوئی نہیں جو اللہ تعالیٰ کے جاری کردہ فرمان کی زد میں آنے سے بچانے والا ہو۔بچے گا صرف وہ جس پر اللہ تعالیٰ نے رحم کیا"۔

• And the wave became barrier-separation in between both of them, whereby he was amongst the drowned. [11:43]

• ۔اور اس دوران ایک موج ان کے مابین حائل ہو گئی جس کے نتیجے میں وہ ڈوبنے والوں میں شامل ہو گیا۔

• Or have you people felt secured that He might occasion your going into the sea another time?

Root: ع و د

• Thereat, He the Exalted might send upon you people a smasher cascading from the Wind. Thereby, He the Exalted might drown you people for reason of your ungrateful denials.

• Afterwards, you might not find a claimant and affectionate follower to plead for you before Our Majesty. [17:69]

• Thereat, he decided to take measures aiming at perturbing and destablizing them in the Land —

• ۔موسیٰ(علیہ السلام)کے بڑھتے اثر و رسوخ اور معتمدین کے اسرار پر اس)فرعون)نے فیصلہ کیا کہ انہیں(قوم موسیٰ)کو ریاست میں پریشان اور گھبراہٹ پیدا کرنے کے لئے اقدامات کرے۔

• Subsequently, Our Majesty drowned him (Fir'aoun) and whoever was accompanying him, all collectively. [17:103]

• ۔اس کی مہلت کا وقت ختم ہونے پر ہم جناب نے اسے(فرعون) اور جوکوئی اس کے ساتھ تھا سمندرمیں غرق کر دیا؛اجتماعی طور پر۔

• Thereby they two [leaving behind the servant] moved out until they had both embarked the boat when he made a hole in her:

• He (Mūsā [alai'his'slaam]) said, "Have you holed, perforated her (boat) so that you might drown its passengers? Apparently you have certainly done a strange thing." [18:71]

• And Our Majesty helped him against the nation- people who publicly contradicted Our Aa'ya'at: Verbal passages of revelation.

• Indeed they were a people evil, therefore, Our Majesty drowned them, all together. [21:77]

• Thereby, in response Our Majesty communicated to him that "you skilfully make the ship while Our Majesty is watching and are communicating Our verbal instructions.

• [let them keep mocking] Subsequently, when Our Command would have reached and the particular "Geyser" of area would have abruptly gushed forth —

• At that point in time you enter in her (the ship) each of pairing, in twos, of plants and mammals that you have —

• And your family members except the one male [his non believing son] from them for whom the word has preceded/ decreed.

• Indeed they are the ones who are to be drowned. [23:27]

• And Our Majesty drowned the nation of Noah [alai'his'slaam] at the point in time when they had publicly contradicted all the Messengers sent towards them in timeline. Thus Our Majesty rendered them for other people an example—a lesson.

• And beware, Our Majesty have prepared—kept ready a painful torment for evil mongers-unjust-distorters of facts. [25:37]

• ۔اورہم جناب نے ایک دردناک عذاب ان کے جرائم کی  سزا دینے کےلئے تیار کردیا ہے جو حقیقت کے منافی باطل طرز عمل  پر کاربند رہتے ہیں۔۔

• Afterwards [when Pharaoh and his troops followed them on fringing reef-20:78] Our Majesty drowned the later group. [26:66]

• Afterwards the sailing of the Watercraft, Our Majesty drowned the remaining ones. [26:120]

• Consequently Our Majesty seized each one of them for reason of his slander and crime —

• Thereat from amongst them is the one upon whom Our Majesty sent a violent storm —

• And from amongst them is the one whom seized an awful sound/earthquake —

• And from amongst them is the one with whom Our Majesty cave-in the Earth (sinkhole)—

• And from amongst them is the one whom Our Majesty drowned.

• And it was not for Allah the Exalted that He might do injustice to them —

• ۔ان پیشگی اقدامات سے ظاہر تھا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ان پرزیادتی کرنے کا قطعاً ارادہ نہیں رکھتے تھے۔

• But in fact they kept doing injustice and harm to their own selves. [29:40]

• لیکن  وہ حقیقت کو باطل سے بدل کر خود اپنے نفوس پر زیادتی کرتے اور اپنی شخصیت کوبگاڑتے رہے۔

• And if Our Majesty so desire We could cause them drowned whereupon there will be no responder for them to their cries —

• And nor would they be saved — [36:43]

• Afterwards, Our Majesty drowned the remaining ones. [37:82]

• Thereby, they having disregarded Our Majesty, We decided to award them punishment —

• Thereby, Our Majesty drowned them, all together. [43:55]

• And [after having crossed over to the other side of Gulf of Suez on the Dry Bridge/Passage] you abandon the Gulf of Suez, leaving it in the ridged state.

• اس لئے(پار کر جانے پر)آپ بحر سویز کو چھوڑ دیں ، اس حال میں کہ خشک راستے کو ساکن اور ابھرا رہنے دیتے ہوئے،

• It is a fact that they are the troops that will be caused to be drowned". [44:24]

• ۔یہ حقیقت ہے کہ وہ (پیچھا کرنے والے)لشکر ہے جسے بحر سویز میں غرق کر دیا جائے گا"۔

Exodus - Eyewitness account

• For the reason of their persistent crimes they were drowned —
