  • Moreover, You (the Posterity of Iesraa'eel) guard yourself for the Day (of requital) during which none of a guilty person will avail anything from another person.

  • (اورتم لوگ تندہی سے محتاط رہتے ہوئے اپنے آپ کواس دن کے حوالے سے محفوط کرو جس میں کوئی شخص کسی دوسرے شخص سے کچھ فائدہ حاصل نہیں کر سکے گا (یعنی نفسی نفسی کا عالم ہو گا

  • And a guilty person's recommendation-intercession shall not be accepted [nor of others will benefit him-2:123]

  •  اور نہ اُس دن اُس (مجرم،کافر قرار پائے)شخص کی کسی دوسرے کیلئے سفارش قبول کی جائے گی۔

  • Moreover, a guilty person's monetary offer for redemption and remission shall not be entertained.

  •  اور نہ خوداُس سے معافی جرم کے لئے فدیہ لیا جائے گا۔

  • Mind it, they will never get help [from those who can otherwise help]. [2:48]

  • ( اورنہ ہی انہیں کسی مدد کرنے والے سے مدد ملے گی۔(البقرۃ۔48


  • Moreover, You (the Posterity of Iesraa'eel) guard yourself for the Day (of requital) during which none of a guilty person will avail anything from another person.

  • (اورتم لوگ تندہی سے محتاط رہتے ہوئے اپنے آپ کواس دن کے حوالے سے محفوط کرو جس میں کوئی شخص کسی دوسرے شخص سے کچھ فائدہ حاصل نہیں کر سکے گا (یعنی نفسی نفسی کا عالم ہو گا

  • Moreover, a guilty person's offer of compensation-redemption fine shall not be accepted  

  •  اور نہ خوداُس سے معافی جرم کے لئے فدیہ قبول کیا جائے گا۔

  • And recommendation-intercession shall not benefit him 

  •  اور نہ اُس دن سفارش اس مجرم/کافر قرار پائے شخص کو فائدہ پہنچائے گی۔

  • Mind it, they will never get help [from those who can otherwise help]. [2:123]

  • اورنہ ہی انہیں کسی مدد کرنے والے سے مدد ملے گی۔


  • O those people/you, who proclaim to have accepted-become believers, listen;

  • !اے وہ لوگوں جنہوں نے ایمان لانے کا اقرارو اعلان کیا ہے توجہ سے سنو

  • Whenever you people have mutually decided a fiscal deal of promissory nature - lending whose maturity term is specified by deadline- date for payment, thereat you are directed to document it in writing

  • جب تم لوگ ایک ایسے کاروباری لین دین پر باہمی طور پر رضامند ہو گئے ہو،ایسا لین دین جس میں ادائیگی کی تاریخ مقرر ہے،تو شئے کا لینے والے کو ملکیت دیتے وقت اس کاروباری معاہدہ کو ضبط تحریر میں لاؤ۔

  • And a known (notary) scribe should write down the agreement struck between you people, impartially in just manner

  • اورایک کاتب /وثیقہ نویس کو تمہاری موجودگی میں  انصاف کے تقاضے مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے معاہدہ کو لکھنا چاہئے۔

  • And scribe should not refuse documenting-writing down since Allah the Exalted has imparted him the knowledge to write

  • اور کاتب/وثہیقہ نویس کو لکھنے سے انکار نہیں کرنا چاہئیے،ویسے جیسے اللہ تعالیٰ نے اسے لکھنا سکھایا ہے۔

  • Therefore, he should write down and the party under liability should dictate, and he should aspire attaining the protection from Allah the Exalted, his Sustainer Lord. And he should not undervalue anything relating to the liability/obligation

  • اس لئے اسے لکھنا چاہئیے اور وہ شخص لکھوائے جس پر مقررہ تاریخ پرادائیگی کی ذمہ داری ہے۔اور اسے اللہ تعالیٰ،اپنے رب،سے پناہ کا خواستگار ہونا چائیے؛اور     اس(قابل ادائیگی)میں سے کچھ شئے کم کر کے نہ لکھوائے۔

  • However, for reason of the indebted person being immature or weak, or if he does not consider himself capable to dictate it, thereby, the guardian of his interests should dictate it, details of deal with equity

  • لیکن اگر وہ شخص جس پر مقررہ تاریخ پر ادائیگی کی ذمہ داری ہے،کاروباری معاملات میں ناپختہ ہے،یا ضعیف ہے،یا  اس (معاہدے)کو املاء کرنے کی صلاحیت نہیں رکھتا تو پھراس کا سرپرست کو املاء کرنا چاہئے انصاف کے تقاضوں کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے۔

  • Moreover, you must seek two men of good repute amongst you as observers-non participating witness to the contract.

  • اور تم لوگ اپنے مردوں میں  سےدو نیک شہرت کے حامل افراد کو چشم دیدگواہ بنانے کی کوشش کرو۔

  • However, in case of non-availability of two men, the recourse is to seek one man and two women of vicinity selected by mutual consent to observe the deal. [two women; it is embarrassing for a woman to join unknown 4 men in a commercial shop; she might remain absent minded].

  • لیکن اگر ان دو(معاہدہ کے فریق)کو گواہ بننے کے لئے دو مرد دستیاب نہ ہوں تو اس طرح کے معاہدوں کے فریقین ایک مرد اور ان دو عورتوں کو گواہ بنا لیں جن پر باہمی رضامند ہوں۔

  • The cause/logic of inviting two women to observe the transaction: supposedly one of the two ladies might become lost-absorbed in herself-unmindful other woman might make her mindful.

  • دو عورتوں کو چشم دید گواہ بنانے کی وجہ یہ ہے کہ اگر اس دوران ان میں سے ایک اپنے آپ میں کھوکر غافل/عدم متوجہ ہو جائے تو ان میں سے دوسری متوجہ کردے ۔

  • And the observers/witnesses should not refuse to observe the contract when they are called upon for it.

  • اور گواہوں کو انکار نہیں کرنا چاہئے جب انہیں گواہ بننے کی درخواست کی جائے۔

  • And you should not neglect documenting it (lending-loaning deal) notwithstanding whether it be small or big in worth, validating till its termination date.

  • اور تم لوگ اس(باہمی معاہدہ)کو لکھنا نظرانداز نہ کرو اس کی تکمیل مدت  تک کے لئے  بطور قانونی دستاویزچاہے  وہ چھوٹی یا بڑی قیمت کا ہو۔

  • The aforementioned course is more just and equitable in the consideration of Allah the Exalted; and it is strong for primary evidence. And it reduces the chances that you might suffer confusion and double mindedness.

  • اللہ تعالیٰ کی جانب سےیہ طریقہ کار تم لوگوں کے لئے زیادہ برابری کے اصول پر ہے؛اور(عدالت میں)شہادت کے لئے زیادہ قوی ہے؛اور اس(دستاویز)کی وجہ سے تم لوگوں کے لئے تذبذب و الجھن میں کمی کا باعث ہو گا۔

  • However, if it were an on-spot transaction by hand-to-hand, a routine daily business of rotation of things by selling and buying, then, no blame is upon you people in not reducing it to writing.

  • دستاویز بنانا لازم ہے ماسوائے اگر وہ(دَین،لین دین)ہاتھ کے ہاتھ تجارت ہے،وہ جوتم لوگ روزمرہ اپنے مابین گھماتے/خرید و فروخت کرتے رہتے ہو،تو اس (دستی لین دین)کو ضبط تحریر میں نہ لانے پر کوئی قابل اعتراض  قانونی قدغن تم پر نہیں ہے۔

  • And you are directed to make it a witnessed activity when you have mutually struck a promissory commercial transaction: credit sale.

  • اور جب تم لوگوں نے باہمی رضامندی سے بیع پر مبنی سودا کیا ہے تو اسے مشہود کرو۔

  • Take note that neither the scribe nor the witnesses should be harassed.

  • اورنہ کاتب اور نہ ہی گواہ کوضرر پہنچانے کی اجازت ہے

  • In case you do so, thereby, it will indeed attach with you people the guilt of defiance.

  • اور اگر تم لوگوں نے  ایسا(ضرر پہنچانا)کیا تو یہ یقیناًپاسداری معاہدہ سے قبل از وقت نکلنے کا الزام تم پر ہوگا۔

  • And sincerely endeavour to attain the protection from Allah the Exalted.

  • اورتم لوگ تندہی سے محتاط رہتے ہوئے اللہ تعالیٰ سے پناہ کے خواستگار رہو۔

  • And recognize the fact that Allah the Exalted is teaching you people the right way to conduct business-economic activity.

  • غور کرو؛اللہ تعالیٰ تم لوگوں کو معاشی کاروبار کے ضوابط کی تعلیم دے رہے ہیں۔

  • And Allah the Exalted has the absolute knowledge of each and everything [visible and infolded] [2:282]

  • متنبہ رہو؛اللہ تعالیٰ ہر ایک شئے کا مکمل دائمی علم رکھنے والے ہیں


  • Know it: Subject to the condition; should you people [clan-tribe-society] apprehend that you might not equitably treat and look after the bereaved children of fathers—father-orphans, adopt this course:

  • Thereat, it is imperative upon you the men to enter in matrimonial bondage; that which seemed pleasing, delightful and fairly good for you [2:235], with such women who have since expired the Prescribed Obligatory Period, circumstantially two two, and three three, and four four.

  • Sequel to this injunction: in case you-the Men apprehended in complying this order that you might not be able to do financial and physical justice in all fairness:

  • Thereby, in partial modification of aforesaid injunction you are directed to enter in matrimonial bondage with one widow who is lonely

  • Alternatively to meet financial constraints: Marry with that woman upon whom the right hand of you people have the authority and responsibility for ordering and managing her affairs.

  • This course of action will diminish the chance regards that you might not sustain the household [widow mother and her children]. [4:03]

  • Indeed Allah the Exalted commands you people to the effect that you people restore the trusts entrusted to you back to their owners

  • And that when you people judge between people, judge with equity and justice.

  • Indeed Allah the Exalted advises you with an excellent and pleasant advice.

  • Indeed Allah the Exalted is ever listener and observer. [4:58]


  • However know it: You people would not be able to attain a capability to maintain absolute justice between your wives even if you had vehemently wished it.

  • Therefore, for reason of this natural fact and to remain near to justice: You people should not turn away, an altogether turning, whereby you leave her-one wife in the manner as flesh separated from bone making her like something suspended-hanging.

  • And should you people reconcile-make things balanced and perfect; and should you remain cautious and heedful avoiding un-restrained conduct:

  • Thereby, Allah the Exalted is certainly repeatedly Overlooking-Forgiving, the Merciful. [4:129]


  • O those/you who proclaim to have accepted-become believers, listen;

  • You are hereby directed to act as determined protectors who stand for dispensation of justice on the principle of equity by becoming witness to record testimony without favour and fear for seeking the approval of Allah the Exalted:

  • Do it even if the testimony negatively affects your selves; or your parents; or your near ones.

  • Should the affected person be self sufficient-self reliant-rich; or he be a dependent-poor: It must not be cared since Allah the Exalted is more preferable than they two.

  • Thereby, you people should not purposely act pursuing emotions - conjecture-hearsay that you might decline the truth.

  • However, should you people distort and twist your testimony; or purposely refrain from recording testimony being witness:

  • Thereat be warned: Allah the Exalted is certainly always aware of the acts you people perform. [4:135]


  • O, those/you who consciously proclaim to have accepted/become believers, listen:

  • You are hereby directed to act as determined protectors who stand for dispensation of justice on the principle of equity by becoming witness to record testimony without favour and fear for seeking the approval of Allah the Exalted.

  • And you should not let the ill-feeling against a people for reason of their any unjust act overpower you that you people might not dispense justice.

  • You people dispense justice; that is more near for being mindful and fearful of Allah with hopes.

  • And sincerely endeavour to attain the protection from Allah the Exalted.

  •  Indeed Allah the Exalted is fully aware of all acts that you perform. [5:08] 


  • O those/you, who consciously proclaim to have accepted/become believers, listen!

  • [in view of prohibition imposed-5:01] You should not hunt-slaughter mammals when you are on pilgrimage journey.

  • Take note; if someone of you in such circumstance hunted and slaughtered by design:

  • Then the recompense upon him is sacrifice of domestic mammal of the like he hunted and killed:

  • Garlanded mammal arriving at Kae'bata; to be adjudged by two persons of justice minded repute amongst you

  • And/Or the recompense upon him as expiation is feeding of the indigent; or the remission for this is fasting so that he might taste it as penalty and rectify-improve-settle his affair.

  • Allah the Exalted has ignored that what went before times. However, take note that henceforth if someone transgressed, thereby, Allah the Exalted will award him punishment/requite him.

  • Be aware, Allah the Exalted is the Sovereign, the Holder of Authority to award due punishment-requite to criminals. [5:95]

  • خبردار رہو،اللہ تعالیٰ مطلق العنان حکمران ہیں۔وہ جرم کی پاداش میں سزا دینے کا مطلق اختیار رکھتے ہیں۔


  • O, those/you who proclaim to have accepted/become believers, listen!

  • Witnessing between you by two men of your family-tribe who enjoy just repute is prescribed while making the Bequest [in compliance of injunction 2:180] at the time the natural death has approached someone of you people.

 

  • Or witness two strangers-alien men who are other than of your people-tribe if you were journeying in land whereat the trouble of natural death has reached you.

  • If you people, having felt irritating suspicion about communication of oral bequest, are holding them (two aliens), thereby they both swear by Allah the Exalted, after As-Sa'laat. to the effect:

  • "We wish not any worldly gain in disclosing the bequest of the deceased even if the beneficiary be our near one

  • And nor we are withholding-concealing the testimony made in the name of Allah the Exalted. If we did that, truly we would instantly be among the Sinners." [5:106]


  • The Infinite Glory and Praise stands specified eternally and exclusively for Allah the Exalted

  • He Who created the Skies and the Earth

  • And He the Exalted inserted (therein) the layers of dark matter/darkness, and the Visible Light as signs.

  • Afterwards, despite acknowledging it they who disavowed ascribe equals with their Sustainer Lord. [6:01]


  • And leave them who have adopted their Code of Life as fascinating play and amusement

  • And the life of this world has put them in deceptive delusion.

  • And just remind with it (Qur’ān) that a person will be imprisoned for what he earned

  • None a protector nor an intercessor, others than Allah the Exalted, will come for his rescue.

  • Moreover, should he offer all that which can be offered as remission; it is ordained it would not be accepted.

  • They are the people who are restrained/imprisoned and debarred from pleasure of life [in Hell-the worst Prison-17:08]. This is outcome of what they had earned in worldly life.

  • Drinking water of heated reservoir and severe punishment is arranged and is in wait for them for the reason they persistently kept disavowing. [preferring worldly interests and fascination] [6:70]

  • And the verbal expression of your Sustainer Lord has attained absoluteness; in truth and in equitable justice/exacting balance.

  • [let them say whatever they conjecture] And there is not at all a Substituter who could propose substitutes for the verbal expressions of Him the Exalted.

  • Remain aware, He the Exalted is eternally the Listener, the All-Knowing. [6:115]

  •  ان جناب کےمتعلق یہ حقیقت ہے، ہر لمحہ ہر آواز کو سننے والے ہیں، منبع علم ہیں۔


  • You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] ask them: "Come and bring forth your witnesses those who testify that Allah the Exalted has prohibited this such and such."

  • In case they testified, thereat, you should not testify along with them.

  • And you should not follow practicing the conjectures/ desires/fascinations of those who have publicly contradicted Our Aa'ya'at: Unitary verbal passages of Qur’ān;

  • And of those who do not believe in the Hereafter.

  • And they assign-ascribe equals with their Sustainer Lord. [6:150]


  • Further, that you should not approach the inherited property of certain father-orphan; except handling it in the best manner, until he might attain the age of his full strength: age of marriage/Nikah.

  • And you people equitably discharge the liability of measure, and maintaining the weighing scale on exacting balance/equilibrium."

  • -- Our Majesty does not impose burden, responsibility, obligation upon a person except according to her capacity: physical and mental ability; scope, capability, strength, practicability, access and tolerance --.

  • And that when you have said something, thereby, you must do justice notwithstanding it hurts the interest of a near relative.

  • And fulfill your commitment obligated by the Contract of Allah the Exalted.

  • It are the commands He the Exalted has bound you people with.

  • These are mentioned that perhaps you remember, recall and relate. [6:152]


  • Know it, there is a group of people in the nation of Mūsā [alai'his'slaam]:

  • Who guide themselves and others by the Infallible Doctrine-Discourse (Grand Qur’ān); and they dispense justice, fairly dispose and decide matters following its injunctions. [7:159]


  • A group is on the aright course amongst those whom We have created:

  • Their characteristic feature is that they guide themselves and others by the Infallible Doctrine-Discourse (Qur’ān); and they dispense justice, fairly dispose and decide matters following its injunctions. [7:181]


  • And Allah the Exalted has struck an example, contrast of two men

  • One of those two is dumb. His circumstances are that he does not have any wherewithal.

  • And he is all by himself responsible and wholly dependent upon his master.

  • Wherever should he the master send him; he would not come back with anything good.

  • Answer yes or no; whether he equates [in public eye], he just mentioned, with him who dictates matters to public with justice and equity

  • While he is moving upon the High road: Course that keeps heading safely and straight to the destination of peace and tranquillity? [16:76]


  • Indeed Allah the Exalted commands to do justice, and to maintain equity, dynamic balance, harmony and pleasantness in society

  • And for giving gifts to the relatives of nearness

  • And He the Exalted forbids: indulgence in sexual perversion-obsession-illicit sex activity; and in conjectural innovations-deceits-deviations-unfamiliar, unauthentic and unverifiable myths; and forbids committing excesses without permissible justification/cause.

  • He the Exalted advises you people so that you people remember and make it your habit. [16:90]


  • Or [to say it in other words] who created the Skies and the Earth

  • And He dropped water from the Sky for you people

  • Whereupon with that water Our Majesty caused the buds - Eye's iris like structure, embryonic shoots, which are the possessor of prime [condition of great freshness and health] to develop-grow

  • It was not possible for you people that you could grow her woody shoots.

  • [Just see a bud and reflect] Is there any iela'aha: godhead along with Allah the Exalted?

  • No, there is no iela'aha: godhead along with Allah, but yet they are the people who ascribe equals with their Sustainer Lord. [27:60]


  • Therefore, you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] call people towards this Universal Ordinance

  • And keep maintaining yourself in your resolve firm and steadfast as you have been advised

  • And you should not consider worthwhile following their conjectures and wishes

  • And you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] pronounce, "I have believed in what has compositely been sent to me which is the segment of a book

  • And I have have been advised that I should do justice between you people

  • Allah is the Sustainer Lord of us and the Sustainer Lord of you people

  • For us are the deeds of ours and for you are the deeds of you people

  • There is no conflict and controversy for winning over between us and between you people

  • Allah the Exalted will arrange assembly amongst us [the believers]

  • Be cognizant of the doctrine that the finality of issues is the exclusive prerogative of Him the Exalted."  [42:15]

  • Take note, if two groups-factions of the Believers have mutually engaged in war, thereat, you people are hereby directed to intervene to cause peace and resolve matters amicably between them.

  • Consequently, if one of the two groups oppressed against the other, thereat, you are directed to wage war against the group which is oppressor; and remain engaged in war until that group might return to the command of Allah for maintaining harmony of brotherhood.

  • Thereby, if that group comes to terms, thereat, amicably resolve issues between both groups with justice and treat both upholding principle of equity.

  • Indeed Allah the Exalted approves and appreciates [for nearness] those who conduct adhering to principle of equity. [49:09]


  • Consequently when they have crossed overaccomplished their respective appointed duration:

  • Thereat you (respective husbands) cause uniting them in your fold in accordance with known norms of society

  • Or you apart them respectfully, in accordance with known norms of society.

  • And you make it [remarriage/reunion or separation] witnessed by two persons of just minded repute among you.

  • And you people establish the testimony for Allah the Exalted.

  • Aforementioned course/conduct/attitude is advised - prescribed for the one who has been believing in Allah the Exalted and the Last Day.

  • Know it, whoever would endeavour for attaining protection of Allah the Exalted

  • He the Exalted will render a recourse for him as a way out. [65:02]


  • The one Who created you, then He the Exalted stretched/equated/made you even, and then He the Exalted proportioned you on exacting balance [82:07]
