  Beginning is with Allah's personal name Ar'Reh'maan Who is The Fountain of Infinite Mercy.            [Note] It should be remembered that it is not the written text/part/Ayah of سُورة  [Chapter 60] and hence it is never numbered. For convenience of those readers who are already believers, this is traditionally printed since it is commanded in the Qur'aan to read/recite with the Name of Sustainer Lord, The Creator.
















































































































































































O you who declare to have accepted!

[Read with 4:89]

 you people should not incline yourselves to adopt My enemies and your enemies as your companions/guardians/protectors/godfathers/patrons/allies

placing before them gestures of love and compassion;

while they had publicly refused to accept/believe in that which has since come to you from the Statement of Fact, they forcing the drive out of the Messenger and you people

that you believe in Allah, the Sustainer Lord of you people;

If you people have come out for fighting/striving in My Path/Cause and for seeking My Approval and Appreciation,

 holding secret the feel of love and compassion towards them; [do not consider them as your relatives/akin and should know that]

and I fully know that which you concealed and that which you openly stated.

And whoever will do that from amongst you

 for that reason/act he is certainly the one who lost the straight path. [60:01][Read  3:28,118;4:144;5:51,57 ;9:23]

If they may gain dominance over you they will be for you enemies

and they will extend over you their hands and their tongues/propaganda with evil designs

and they have desired that somehow you people reject faith. [60:02]

Your Womb-Relatives nor your progeny may ever cause benefit to you people

on the Day of Judgment when He will adjudge between you people.

 And Allah ever keeps watching what acts you people perform. [60:03]

Certainly there has been for you people an excellently balanced and appropriate example of conduct in Iebra'heim [علیہ السلام] and those/Muslims who were with him,

when they said for [to] their people, "Indeed we are absolved and disassociated from amongst you and from those to which you people show allegiance and worship other than Allah;

we have rejected you people and has emerged between us and between you the enmity/wrangling and grudge/hatred/resentment for ever

unless you believe in Allah as "He is the Only One";

except the statement of Iebra'heim [علیہ السلام] for [to] his father, "Surely I will incline myself to sincerely seek forgiveness for you, since I do not hold any authority of any sort for you from Allah".

[after pronouncing to people] They prayed, "Our Sustainer Lord! Upon You we trust consciously placing all our affairs for disposal and towards You we return and towards You is the final return. [60:04]

 Our Sustainer Lord! You do not make us the object/crucible for subjecting those to trial and exposure who have have refused to accept/believe;

and You protect and forgive for us, Our Sustainer Lord

[Same pronouncement in 2:129;40:08]

 certainly You are the All Pervasive and eternally The Wise/Knower of invisible/secreted/infolded." [60:05]

Certainly there has been for you people an excellently balanced and appropriate example of conduct in them to emulate [in connection with your relations],

for the one who has been cautiously keeping hope in Allah and the Last Day.

And whoever purposely causes himself to turn away, thereat it should be known that indeed Allah is the One Who is eternally the Absolutely Independent, eternally the focus of Glory and Praise. [60:06]

It is possible that Allah may develop love between you and those from amongst whom you made yourselves distanced away,

and All has full command and control to squeeze things in a fold.

 and Allah is The Forgiving/Overlooking, The Merciful. [60:07]


Allah does not forbid you people, from those who did not wage war against you in the matter of Code and Procedure of Conduct [Islam]

and nor they caused you expelled from your localities,

that you may deal kindly with them and conduct justly and equitably towards them.

Indeed Allah approves and appreciates [for nearness] those who conduct justly and equitably.[60:08]

Allah forbids you people, only from those who waged war against you in the matter of Code and Procedure of Conduct [Islam]

and they caused your exodus from your localities and they made themselves assist others for your expulsion, that you should not incline yourselves to turn towards them.

And whoever consciously inclines himself to ally with them

[Same verdict in same words in 2:229;3:94;5:45;9:23;49:11]

for this reason such are the people who are evil-doers/distorters/creators of imbalances/ disorders/over stepping. [60:09]

O you who declare to have accepted!

When the emigrant believing women have reached you people [Muslim society/state], for reason/thereat you people consciously examine them [with regard to their belief].

Allah fully knows their belief.

Consequently if you have known them as believing women then for reason you should not revert them back towards the Non-Believers;

they are not permissible [to continue as wives] for them and nor are they permissible for them [to continue as husbands];

and pay them what they had spent [on these married women].

And there is no harm and objectionable for you people if you take them in the fold of Nikah when you have paid them their wedding gifts/settled obligations.

And you should not keep holding the bond of marriage with the Non Believers and ask for that which you had spent and let them ask what they had spent.

This is the Command of Allah, He commands and adjudges between you people.

And Allah is Ever All-Knower, All-Wise, Knower of invisible/hidden realities/considerations. [60:10]

And if something had gone out of your reach from your [left behind disbelieving] wives towards the Non Believers, then when you/society have become able

thereat pay to those whose wives had gone from them somewhat like that they had spent;

 and you people consciously incline yourselves to remain mindful, cautious avoiding unrestrained conduct in reverence and and fear of Allah, the One in Whom you believe.  [60:11]

O you the Elevated and Chosen One [Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam],

when believing women have arrived/migrated to you making themselves solemnly pledge before you to the effect that they will not associate with Allah anything,

and nor they will steal, and nor they will indulge in consented sexual intercourse and nor they will kill their offspring;

and nor they will allege false allegations forging it with reference to between/middle of their hands and middle of their feet/legs;

and nor will refuse your word in the known and accepted norms of society;

thereupon/as a result you accept their fealty and for these women seek forgiveness from Allah.

Indeed Allah is repeatedly Forgiving/Overlooking and the Merciful. [60:12]

O you who declare to have accepted!

[Muna'fi'qeen turn towards them 58:14]

you people should not incline yourselves to  turn approaching the people upon whom the criminal cognizance of Allah has become incumbent.

Indeed they have become despair about the Hereafter,

like that as the Non Believers have lost hope in the residents of the graves. [60:13]
