النون والفاء والقاف
أصلانِ صحيحان، يدلُّ أحدُهما على انقطاعِ شيءٍ وذَهابه،
والآخر على إخفاءِ شيءٍ وإغماضِه
Means a tunnel with both ends open; means one of the holes from among
many of desert wild rat: at the mouth of which is a thin film of mud and
which is opened by striking its head against it when some adversay is
after it in the tunnel; Munafiq means a person who ensures there is a
way out before entering some society or group;
to come out of a hole, to enter into a hole where there is another
outlet; tunnel.
A man will be void of love and sincerity in his
relationship with society until such time the thought of helping others
reigns him. He cannot attain virtue unless he has the passion for
spending some of his resources to help others.
ʾInfāq (إنفاق) is an Arabic word meaning spending,
disbursement.[1]
simply to please
God without asking for any favor or hoping for a return. The word ʾinfāq
is mentioned once in the Qurʾān in Sūrat al-ʾIsrāʾ, verse 100. The
imperative form of the verb (ʾanfiqū) (أَنفِقُوا) appears 18
times in the Qurʾān.[2]
It is different from
Zakat,
which is obligatory on Muslims, or
Sadaqah,
which is charity for obtaining specific return or protection from some
adverse event.
The word infaq has a very broad meaning. General meaning constitutes all
kind of expenditures for the sake of Allah(j.j). The word nafaqa comes
from the same root, and it means alimony.
Infaq can be for family’s father expenses for the wife and children,
also it can be for the poor and the needy.
