074-ٱلْمُدَّثِّر


(Explanation Urdu / English)

يَـٰٓأَيُّـهَا ٱلْمُدَّثِّرُ .74:01١

قُمْ فَأَنذِرْ .74:02٢

وَرَبَّكَ فَكَـبِّـرْ .74:03٣

وَثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرْ .74:04٤

وَٱلرُّجْزَ فَٱهْجُرْ .74:05٥

وَلَا تَمْنُن تَسْتَكْـثِرُ .74:06٦

وَلِرَبِّكَ فَٱصْبِـرْ .74:07٧

فَإِذَا نُقِرَ فِـى ٱلنَّاقُورِ .74:08٨

فَذَٟلِكَ يَوْمَئِذٛ يَوْمٌ عَسِيـرٌ .74:09٩

عَلَـى ٱلْـكَـٟفِرِينَ غَيْـرُ يَسِيـرٛ .74:10١٠

• O you the Embodiment of Haya-“حيا” and Carefulness; You who at his own accord is in the habit of concealing/wrapping under the cloak/unsown cloth/sheet while sleeping; [74:01]
• You rise up/get ready; thereby you alarm and warn the individual, the visitor for taking guards by telling: [74:02]
• "Your Sustainer Lord is since the Sublime Great, therefore, you must praise/pronounce His Greatness emphatically.
• The manner for such praises and glorification is that in case your clothing has become unclean/ impure, thereat, you wash/clean/purify your clothes before performing act of glorification; [74:04]
• i.e. thereat you remove/distance/wash away/scratch the repulsive matter [odd adhesive stain]. [74:05]
• Further, you should not indulge in cessation in circumstances that you keep gaining manifolds. [74:06]
• Instead, you remain content and satisfied for the sake of your Sustainer Lord. [74:07]
• This is important to take heed because when the sound/Big Bang would have been blown in the trumpet; [74:08]
• Thereat it will demonstrate the day, when so happens, as a day of incessant prominent difficulty; [74:09]
• Upon those who deliberately and persistently denied. It will be the opposite of ease and comfort for them". [74:10]

ذَرْنِـى وَمَنْ خَلَقْتُ وَحِيدٙا .74:11١١

وَجَعَلْتُ لَهُۥ مَالٙا مَّمْدُودٙا .74:12١٢

وَبَنِيـنَ شُهُودٙا .74:13١٣

وَمَهَّدتُّ لَهُۥ تَمْهِيدٙا .74:14١٤

ثُـمَّ يَطْمَعُ أَنْ أَزِيدَ .74:15١٥

كَلَّآۖ إِنَّهُۥ كان لِءَايَٟتِنَا عَنِيدٙا .74:16١٦

سَأُرْهِقُهُۥ صَعُودٙا .74:17١٧

• You:  Messenger [Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] leave Me and the Person - notable in your presence whom I had created as an individual entity. [74:11]
• I have since assigned wealth for him, stretched and expanded. [74:12]
• Moreover, I have granted him prominence with sons. [74:13]
• Thereby, I caused the affairs for him smooth and soft-comfortably lying like on smooth bed. [74:14]
• Thereafter, despite having all this he is still all the time greedy that I may increase more. [74:15]
• No more, desire declined. It is a fact that he has persistently been opposing Our Aa'ya'at: unitary verbal passages of Qur'aan. [74:16]
• Soon I will cause distress regularly overtakes him. [74:17]

إِنَّهُۥ فَكَّـرَ وَقَدَّرَ .74:18١٨

فَقُتِلَ كَيْفَ قَدَّرَ .74:19١٩

ثُـمَّ قُتِلَ كَيْفَ قَدَّرَ .74:20٢٠

ثُـمَّ نَظَرَ .74:21٢١

ثُـمَّ عَبَسَ وَبَسَـرَ .74:22٢٢

ثُـمَّ أَدْبَرَ وَٱسْتَكْـبَـرَ .74:23٢٣

فَقَالَ إِنْ هَـٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٚ يُؤْثَرُ .74:24٢٤

إِنْ هَـٰذَآ إِلَّا قَوْلُ ٱلْبَشَـرِ .74:25٢٥

• [On hearing the foretasted admonition] It is a fact that he seemingly pondered, and assessed-evaluated the statement. [74:18]
• For reason, woe/curse-distancing away in this worldly life is for him for how he assessed. [74:19]
• Afterwards, woe/curse-distancing away in the life Hereafter is for him for how he assessed. [74:20]
• After lapse of sometime, he saw; the Blind Man had come to him. [74:21]
• Thereupon, he scowled-contracted-wrinkled his face with feel of disgust. Moreover, he became hasty-impetuous. [74:22]
• Thereafter, he turned his side away. Further, he demonstrated arrogance obsessed by feel of pride of grandeur and superiority, [74:23]
• Whereby, he replied, saying, "This-foretasted threat you have talked about is definitely an old illusory gossip that is kept repeating in time and space. [74:24]
• It/what has been stated-Qur'aan is definitely nothing but merely the word of the Man". [74:25]

سَأُصْلِيهِ سَقَرَ .74:26٢٦

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا سَقَرُ .74:27٢٧

لَا تُبْقِى وَلَا تَذَرُ .74:28٢٨

لَوَّاحَةٚ لِّلْبَشَـرِ .74:29٢٩

عَلَيْـهَا تِسْعَةَ عَشَـرَ .74:30٣٠

• I will soon cast him into the high temperature/heated Hell-Prison. [74:26]
• And what is that which could have given you the perception of the high/scorching temperature/heat of Hell-Prison? [74:27]
• It is such that neither it permits to endure/remain in its original condition nor does it spare anything unaffected. [fundamental characteristic of heat] [74:28]
• The peculiar feature/trait of her/it  is act/effect of scorching for human beings [burning and parching the skin-4:56] [74:29]
• There are nineteen males [Angels as Warders] appointed for guarding upon her-Hell-Prison. [74:30] [Warders-Who these nineteen males are?]

وَمَا جَعَلْنَآ أَصْحَٟبَ ٱلنَّارِ إِلَّا مَلَٟٓئِكَـةٙۙ

وَمَا جَعَلْنَا عِدَّتَـهُـمْ إِلَّا فِتْنَةٙ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَـرُوا۟

لِىَسْتَيْقِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْـكِـتَٟبَ

وَيَزْدَادَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِيمَٟنٙاۙ

وَلَا يَرْتَابَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْـكِـتَٟبَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَۙ

وَلِيَقُولَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِـى قُلُوبِـهِـم مَّـرَضٚ وَٱلْـكَـٟفِرُونَ

مَاذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِـهَـٰذَا مَثَلٙاۚ

كَذَٟلِكَ يُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَـهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُۚ

وَمَا يَعْلَمُ جُنُودَ رَبِّكَ إِلَّا هُوَۚ

وَمَا هِىَ إِلَّا ذِكْرَىٰ لِلْبَشَـرِ .74:31٣١

• And We have not appointed the Warders of Hell except Angels [who are males]
• And We have not declared the count/number of them except as a source of exposure/perturbation for those who have refused to accept/believe;
• In order that those whom Book was given may make themselves arrive at certainty [of existence and eventually landing in Hell-Prison],
• And those who have accepted/believed may cause enhance their conviction of belief;
• And so that [lack of information about the prison administration] those whom Book was given and those who have accepted/believed [in Qur'aan] may not make themselves in botheration/confusion/ disquiet of double mindedness;
• And that those —Irrational beliefs - a disease - psychological disorder - envy, jealousy, and malice, bias, rancour is self implanted- nurtured within their hearts- locus of understanding - consciousness and the Non-Believers might say:
• "What Allah intends by giving this example/information about Warders of Hell-Prison [like the worldly Prison/Jail]."
• This is how by such disclosures He lets/exposes many who wish straying and with it He guides many who wish/desire to be guided.
• And except your Sustainer Lord no one can know His forces [executing His Commands]
• And [purpose of giving] this information is nothing except a recall/admonition/bring attention for man [that criminals eventually land in Jail guarded by Warders]. [74:31]

كَلَّا وَٱلْقَمَرِ .74:32٣٢

وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذْ أَدْبَرَ .74:33٣٣

وَٱلصُّبْحِ إِذَآ أَسْفَرَ .74:34٣٤

• No, the fact is, I swear by the Moon, [74:32]
• And by the Night when it has reached its extremity and about-faced; [74:33]
• And by the Dawn when it has become prominent/evident;, [74:34]

إِنَّـهَا لَإِحْدَى ٱلْـكُـبَـرِ .74:35٣٥

نَذِيرٙا لِّلْبَشَـرِ .74:36٣٦

لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُـمْ أَن يَتَقَدَّمَ أَوْ يَتَأَخَّرَ .74:37٣٧

• That it is one of the mightiest [74:35]
• Warning and cause of fear for man, [74:36]
• So that anyone amongst you people wishes that he may consciously and purposely make himself advance or hang back/go forward or remain behind [to take heed and aspire to avoid this eventuality]. [74:37]

كُلُّ نَفْسِۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ رَهِينَةٌ .74:38٣٨

إِلَّآ أَصْحَـٟـبَ ٱلْيَـمِيـنِ .74:39٣٩

فِـى جَنَّٟتٛ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ .74:40٤٠

عَنِ ٱلْمُجْرِمِيـنَ .74:41٤١

مَا سَلَـكَـكُـمْ فِـى سَقَرَ .74:42٤٢

• Every person is the hostage and imprisoned for that it has earned-sum total of conduct— [74:38]
• The exception are the persons who are companions of right handed; [74:39]
• They are free and independent in the gardens—
• They enquire questioning the criminals: "What has brought-entered you people in Saqar: the scorching Hell-Prison? [74:40-42]

قَالُوا۟ لَمْ نَكُـمِنَ ٱلْمُصَلِّيـنَ .74:43٤٣

وَلَمْ نَكُ نُطْعِمُ ٱلْمِسْكِيـنَ .74:44٤٤

وَكُنَّا نَخُوضُ مَعَ ٱلُخَآئِضِيـنَ .74:45٤٥

وَكُنَّا نُكَذِّبُ بِيَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ .74:46٤٦

حَتَّىٰٓ أَتَىٰنَا ٱلْيَقِيـنُ .74:47٤٧

فَمَا تَنفَعُهُـمْ شَفَٟعَةُ ٱلشَّٟفِعِيـنَ .74:48٤٨

• They the residents of Hell-Prison replied: "We used not to be seen with those who were performers of As-Salaat: Time bound Protocol of Servitude and Allegiance—[74:43]
• And nor we used to feed the indigent—[74:44]
• And we used to indulge in vain-conjectural discourses in the company of such vain talkers like myths of walking barefooted on water surface—[74:45]
• And we kept contradicting the perception of accountability on the Day of Resurrection—
• Till the time the natural death had reached us." [74:46-47]
• Thereby, the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. [74:48]

فَمَا لَـهُـمْ عَنِ ٱلتَّذْكِرَةِ مُعْـرِضِيـنَ .74:49٤٩

كَأَنَّـهُـمْ حُـمُرٚ مُّسْتَنفِرَةٚ .74:50٥٠

فَرَّتْ مِن قَسْوَرَةِۭ .74:51٥١

• Thereby, what is that - the cause which has made them become aversive - refraining - avoiders of the Admonition - Reminder - Frequenting Source: Grand Qur'aan? [74:49]
• They are aversive to the presentation of the Admonition as if they were in situation like of  donkeys who are disgusted in fright after having eluded from a lioness. [74:50-51] 

بَلْ يُرِيدُ كُلُّ ٱمْرِئٛ مِّنْـهُـمْ أَن يُؤْتَـىٰ صُحُفٙا مُّنَشَّـرَةٙ .74:52٥٢

كَلَّاۖ بَل لَاَّ يَخَافُونَ ٱلۡءَاخِـرَةَ .74:53٥٣

• No, [the excuse for running away is this] Everyone of them desires/demands to be given papyri spread/spelled out—. [74:52]
• Never will their demand be met. The fact is that they do not fear the Hereafter. [74:53]

كَلَّآ إِنَّهُۥ تَذْكِرَةٚ .74:54٥٤

فَمَن شَآءَ ذَكَرَهُۥ .74:55٥٥

وَمَا يَذْكُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ

هُوَ أَهْلُ ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ وَأَهْلُ ٱلْمَغْفِـرَةِ .74:56٥٦

• No, [they can't get papers] this Grand Qur'aan is certainly a reminder/admonition/the Word which has reached people, [74:54]
• Therefore, whosoever so willed he remembered/secured in memory/memorized/read/conveyed it [Grand Qur'aan] to others.  [74:55]
• And people can neither save it in memory nor can retrieve it for remembrance/narration except that Allah so desires/wills. [A simple fact is mentioned, Allah saves the data and retrieves the data to/from its storage place-memory]
• He who remembered/acted on Qur'aan is the member of family of heedful and pardoned/saved ones. [74:56]
